I was taught how to birth, wean, potty train, and care for many types of animals. I have worked in my parents grooming shop to help over the years and this included walking and bathing dogs. I grew up with two dogs: a 12 year old Golden Doodle and a 4 year old Cavapoo, so I’m very familiar with both senior dogs and younger, energetic pups. In college as a side job I did dog watching. during this time I was able to watch 2 to 3 large dogs at a time. I work from home full-time so I am able to take the pets out for walks, or cater to their needs if some pets struggle with separation anxiety. If I had a high energy dog, I would incorporate them into my workout routine, for example, go one or 2 mile run or play fetch at the park to help them burn out some of that energy. For longer breaks there is a park that I would take them to. That is a three minute drive where we can go out runs and play fetch. About: Hello! My name is Teanna Tang & I absolutely LOVE dogs. I am currently a junior at the University of Maryland, College Park, studying Animal Sciences with a specialty in animal care and management. In addition to my education, I have owned dogs all my life, thus giving me many years of experience as well. My availability varies, however I am willing to adjust my schedule in order to provide the best care for your furry friend. I am also able to give your dog many tasty treats, a large yard to run around in, lots of fun toys, and plenty of (maybe even too much of) love & attention! I also have a love for animal photography, therefore I can also provide you with lots of cute photos after their visit. About: I have worked at vet clinics, pet stores and doggy daycares. I have cared for everything from axolotls, bearded dragons and crested geckos to small animals such as rabbits, and guinea pigs, and of course dogs and cats! I am currently a stay at home mom and military wife so I have a lot of free time to care for pets and I also have base access!
