About: This young adult is filled with energy, patience and love! I have owned a dog since I was a child and tried to open a mini petting rescue zoo in my moms barn . It worked until I had to actually adult and pay my own bills . I love giving one in one attention and healthy treats . My availability is flexible due to working around my human patients . I value bedside mannerisms and do believe they don’t just apply to two legged friends. I have been known for my cautious and preventative decision making skills ! My temperament is easy going but firm because if not, all paws will break loose! Seriously , I would have 100 dogs at home if possible. I am currently working part time and from home . About: I have cared for cats and dogs for years. I rescued one cat to later find out she had seizures. She got proper treatment, love and attention, and lived to be fifteen. I am retired and available days, evenings, weekends, and most holidays to meet your pets needs and your schedule to keep on your pets routine. I needed to be out of town for the better part of a week, and having just moved to town, did not have any friends or family to watch after my large canine; Sam to the rescue! I initially approached him requesting two walks per day, but due to his reasonable pricing, I suggested that I would be interested in adding a third walk every day. “I think Lois was my best Christmas gift! We had a big family trip planned over the holiday and I hated the thought of my dog locked in a kennel. I just happened to check the Rover site for the first time and saw that Lois was willing to take in a “guest” for Christmas. We set up a meet and greet because Lois also has a dog. I trusted her knowledge of dog behavior and she was confident the two dogs would get along. They were like brothers! During the stay, she spoiled Milo with extra attention, special treats and toys, long walks, and he got to be part of the family on Christmas Day. She sent me photos and was a great communicator. I would highly recommend Lois - she does an amazing job and I look forward to taking Milo back.”
