As he spent the majority of his life as a puppy mill papa, Remi can be challenging. As a teacher and a mom, Danielle had the skills and patience to work with him. She kept us updated throughout the weekend and it was easy to see the Remi was happy and content. I’m fairly certain Remi didn’t want to come home !! I prioritize learning and writing specific safety and miscellaneous expectations for easy access, and default keep doors locked + my shoes off. I also think it's important to not disrupt set routines, so if a furry friend needs to be crated by a certain time, an alarm fifteen or twenty minutes prior is key to be timely and have grace if said pet may not love crate time.
