“Avary was fantastic! You can tell that she is comfortable and experienced. She took her time getting Otis and Maenard comfortable when putting on their harnesses and meeting them for the first time. She taught us some new tricks for an easier time getting dressed, too! She was thorough and had great energy. Excited for more walks in the future! Thank you again, Avary!”

“Laura is the best! My senior dog Tiny took to her immediately. I’ve used Laura twice so far and she’s been punctual, communicative and just overall wonderful. Tiny can be reactive and some quirks, but Laura has been mindful of them and I’m at ease knowing Tiny is in her care! Will definitely continue to book with Laura :)”

About: I’m based in Brooklyn and I’ve had cats and dogs in my life since I was about five years old, many of them from the time they were kittens and puppies. I’ve watched pets for family and friends for years, and I’ve taken care of school/classroom pets for extended periods of time. Caring for animals has always felt natural to me. I’m a calm, soft-spoken person, and animals tend to respond well to that energy. I pay attention to their body language, their routines, and the little things that help them feel safe. I also believe good pet care starts with understanding the pet parent. I take time to get to know you, your routines, your expectations, your concerns so I can truly be of service and support your pet the way you would. Trust matters to me, and I don’t take it lightly. When your pet is with me, they’re cared for with patience, consistency, and real presence. I work from home, which allows me to be flexible and present throughout the day. Because I’m home-based, I’m able to maintain consistent feeding times, potty breaks, and check-ins, and I’m not rushing in and out. I plan my schedule intentionally so the pets in my care receive steady attention and aren’t left alone for long stretches. Safety and trust mean a lot to me, especially because I’ve been a pet owner myself for most of my life. I know how important routines are, and I follow routines in my own life, so I respect and stick to the ones you’ve created for your pet. If I’m in your home, I’m mindful and respectful of your space. And I stay present on walks, especially here in Brooklyn where things can get busy. I don’t rush, and I don’t multitask when I’m responsible for your pet. As a pet owner, I understand the level of trust it takes to leave your animal with someone so I take that seriously. I communicate clearly and send frequent updates so you feel at ease, not just informed.

“Jorge is great! He is always available when I need him even when it’s last minute. He always sends me a picture of my pup during the walks which makes my day. He’s always thorough in filling out the rover card. He also makes an effort to take my pup on different routes each walk to keep things interesting. I highly recommend him!”
“Ella is amazing! She is consistent, communicative, and our dog loves her! She sends photos and always updates us about walks with our pup. I’m happy to have found Ella!”

About: Hello! My name is Hannah and I am so excited to look after your fur baby. I have tons of experience and comfort levels with all sorts of animals. My own kitties need special medications, injections, pills and more so I'm very familiar with giving additional care. I'm very patient, and have sat and bathed dogs and cats of all shapes sizes and breeds. I've been a midwife to a husky, cared for senior cats with IVs, and plenty in between. I'd love to care for your pet too! I freelance most days of the week so I have plenty of free time to drop by and visit. I also love walking, myself, so doing it with a furry friend is an added bonus :) I live in an apartment that is pet friendly. I have one cat who gets along great with others. I have access to a yard for potty breaks and live close to Prospect Park for walks. I have house/baby/pet sat many times and I will be very responsible in regards to your home. No snooping and I try and leave spaces nicer than when I found them :)
“Lucas is very reliable and communicative. He listens to concerns that are needed for the animal. My Kahri loves to see him because she knows it’s walk time. I would recommend to anyone.”

“Just recently met Alexandra and my doggie fell in love with her immediately. Alexandra was available to help me out in a pinch. She's been very timely and communicative. Greatly appreciated!”

“Elizabeth was so kind in organizing a meet and greet prior to our first booking. The first walk/visit went smooth. She was communicative and handled all responsibilities with ease. Booking again!”

“Angie was on time and ran my very active 5 month old and 4 year old Brittany spaniels. The dogs came home tired and very happy. My husband was very please too that the dogs seemed comfortable with Angie.”

“We've had a lot of awesome walkers come through when I have long workdays but my roommate was like, Jasmine's the one! Thoughtful, warm, communicative and made sure Canelo was safe and comfy for his walk. If schedules align she'll be my go-to and she should be yours too! :)”
About: I have a deep love for animals and treat them as if they were my own children. I have four kids who share this passion, and it feels wonderful to channel our love and care into providing for animals in need. I've had the pleasure of caring for my sister's cat and, two years ago, my sister's mother's dog before she peacefully passed away from old age. I take immense pride in my work and am dedicated to making sure I am always on time and reliable. If you choose to hire me, I promise you won’t regret it—I truly care about giving your beloved pets the same love and attention I give my own. I’m available Monday through Friday from 9 A.M. to 10 P.M. and am free on weekends until 10 P.M. I look forward to the opportunity to love and care for your furry family members! ❤️ As a stay-at-home mom, I have the opportunity to dedicate all my time and affection to your baby, ensuring they receive all the love and care they need, just like any other child would. I’m pleased to share that I have a cozy dog park right beside my house, complete with a sturdy fence. This ensures that your beloved pet can enjoy their time playing freely while staying safe. I truly understand how important it is for our furry friends to have a secure and joyful space to explore and have fun.
About: Hi there! As a dog caretaker, I am warm, patient, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented. No amount of information is too much information—please share whatever will help you and your furry baby feel cared for. I began my journey by taking care of a friend’s husky mix puppy two years ago and have been dog-sitting ever since! The feedback I often receive is that even the most hyper active dogs become calmer in my presence overtime. My schedule is fairly flexible because I am in the arts! I can work with your busy schedule and coordinate a time that works best for you both. In your home, I like to replicate the dog’s usual routine. I am very vigilant and like to keep with up with their pace. I am willing to work with you to support any of your friend’s special needs, nuances or quirks.
“Ciara has been great stepping into the shoes of walking Courage after her last one couldn't anymore. She is punctual and her notes are helpful. I know my girl is in good hands with her.”

Here's a polished and warm Rover review: Kameron has been walking and caring for my Boston Terrier, Noah, for the past two years, and she has been absolutely wonderful. From day one, she has treated Noah as if he were her own, providing him with exceptional care, attention, and affection. One of my favorite things about working with Kameron is the thoughtful photo updates she sends every day. I always looked forward to checking them during my lunch break and seeing Noah happy, comfortable, and having fun. Kameron has also been incredibly reliable and supportive during unexpected situations. In emergencies, she was always communicative, responsive, and willing to help, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. Whenever she stayed in my home, she left everything spotless and exactly as she found it. Her professionalism, trustworthiness, and genuine love for animals have made her an invaluable part of Noah's life. I cannot thank Kameron enough for the wonderful care she has provided over the last two years. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring dog walker or house sitter. Your pets will be in excellent hands!

This was my first time ever using a dog walker, and I was honestly pretty nervous about it, but Ella made the whole experience easy and reassuring! She sent tons of photos and updates during the walk, which immediately put me at ease. She communicates proactively, asks questions, and clearly pays attention to details. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone reliable and attentive with your pet!
