About: Animals have been part of our lives for as long as we can remember. Together, we’ve fostered and adopted 3 rescues: our cats Charlie & Ro, and our dog Miki. With our family, your pet is coming into a home that has plenty of company. Caring for dogs has already been a regular part of our routines. This includes a mix of walks, daycare, and boarding, plus occasional drop-in visits for cats. Currently, Andrew is working from home full time, and Stacey is in the office 4x a week but home every evening and weekend, so your dog will never be left alone. Both of us will be involved in their care throughout the day. We're located in LIC, right between Court Square and Queensboro Plaza, making drop-offs and pickups convenient. Drop-off & Pick-up: We keep things flexible. Drop off and pick up any time between 8am–9pm. We've used sitters for our pets as well, so we know how much trust goes into leaving your pet with someone. You can expect us to care for your pet the same way we'd want our pets cared for. Feel free to use our code ANDREB48451 for $40 off your first booking! https://www.rover.com/sit/andreb48451
About: I’ve cared for dogs (a spaniel mix and a husky) since I was 10, and I love spending time with my friends’ and family’s fur babies. I’m flexible and happy to tend to animals of varying energy levels. I work a primarily remote job on weekdays from 9-6 and am flexible for walking and boarding on the weekends. I also enjoy taking walks after work if my schedule and the weather permit. I currently don’t have a pet living with me and am in an apartment with a lovely courtyard near plenty of parks and walking areas. I’m very observant with animal behavior and will act accordingly to ensure your furry friend is safe and feels comfortable.
About: Growing up with a beloved dog taught me early on how wonderful it is to share our lives with pets. For the past two years, I have built valuable, hands-on experience by occasionally pet-sitting for friends and volunteering regularly at animal shelters. I understand that every dog and cat has a unique personality, and I tailor my care strategies to meet their individual needs. Being naturally patient and highly detail-oriented, I pride myself on providing a safe, structured, and loving environment for every pet under my care. I’m currently working full time on dog & cat sitter, my schedule is pretty flexible. I’m available from 9 AM to 9 PM during the weekdays and weekends. While cat/dog sitting, I treat each pet parent’s home with the same care and respect as if it were my own. I always ensure doors and windows are secure, follow all household instructions carefully, and keep the environment safe and free of hazards for the cats. I’m mindful of potential escape risks and make sure cats/dogs remain safely indoors. Before leaving, I double-check that doors are locked and that the cats/dogs have everything they need, including clean water, food and clean litter boxes.
“Elizabeth does a great job taking my dog on his walks! He has a fun time and she always leaves helpful notes on any highlights/ his temperament/ important updates for me to know.”

About: With 5 years of hands-on experience, I’ve raised a Corgi from 5 months to 2 years old, and currently in my household lives a 2-year-old British Shorthair who I’ve raised from 5 months and a playful 4-year-old Poodle. I understand each pet’s unique needs and treat them like family—providing attentive, loving care that keeps tails wagging and whiskers twitching! I’m currently WFH, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pets! I'm available for dropping in visits, walks on weekdays, and both long-term & short-term boarding and daycare, just schedule with me in advance! I can accommodate various types of inquiries! Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I follow your care instructions closely, always double-check leashes, doors, and feeding. I create a calm, friendly environment, keeping their routine consistent. Whether it’s a walk or a drop-in visit, I treat your home and pet with respect, love, and attention.
“Angelica is absolutely wonderful! It’s the first time Kobe has had a consistent dog walker and we couldn’t be happpier. Angelica took the time to make him comfortable and they quickly became besties. Angelica is kind, responsive, and sends the most adorable pictures. 10/10”

“Christie has been an incredible dog walker for my dog, Somi. Somi is always excited to see her, which says everything about how great Christie is with dogs. She’s consistently punctual, very responsive, and seems to genuinely love pets. I always feel confident knowing Somi is in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs through every stage of life—from energetic puppies who needed patience, consistency, and structure, to senior dogs who required extra attention, gentleness, and specialized care. Most recently, I helped care for my family’s dog throughout her senior years until the end of her life, which taught me the importance of compassion, patience, and paying attention to the small changes in a dog’s behavior and needs. I’m a very patient, responsible, and caring person, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I also believe walks should be enjoyable for them, not just exercise, so I let dogs safely stop and sniff as much as they want. It’s great mental enrichment and lets them experience the world at their own pace. My goal is simple: to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, loved, and excited to spend time with me. I’m currently between jobs, so I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. Rather than trying to fit walks or visits around a busy workday, I can focus on each dog’s routine, whether that’s longer walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or simply providing companionship. I also recently lost my family’s dog, so I truly miss having a dog in my life. Pet sitting is a meaningful way for me to stay active, spend time outdoors, and give dogs the love and attention they deserve while helping provide peace of mind for their owners. I understand that every dog has different routines, personalities, and comfort levels, so I always take the time to follow the owner’s instructions carefully. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize safety, consistency, and making the dog feel comfortable. During walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, avoid unsafe situations or interactions if needed, and pay close attention to their behavior and energy level. At home, I make sure they have fresh water, follow feeding and medication schedules exactly, provide plenty of attention and enrichment, and keep the environment clean and safe. I also believe communication is important, so I’ll keep owners updated with photos and messages so they know their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

“Valentina is our favorite. Thank you so much for going all the way to my area to walk my dog even in the cold and snow. Your dedication really shows and it means a lot. I’ll definitely keep booking you because you truly put your heart into what you do🙂”

About: I have always grown up around pups including my family’s, neighbors and my own pets! I have had the opportunity to care for all ages of dogs within my community- puppies, many senior dogs and the teens. I have also traveled across the globe to join ASPCA to aid in dog care in underdeveloped countries. These experiences have taught me that each pet is unique with different needs and personal preferences. That is most important aspect to making sure each and every pup is comfy. Please feel free to contact me for my availability as it is flexible as of right now! My weekends are always open, but negotiations are needed for weekdays! Each pet has unique needs and personal accommodations such as exercise, nutrition, hydration and physical touch. Therefore it is important to adapt to the diverse needs of each and every dog! Constant love and attention are always necessary for a happy home and happy pet.

About: Hi! I've been eager to give Rover a shot and finally decided to sign up! I've taken care of neighbors, friends and roommates dogs and puppies for the past 15 years. My neighbors went on vacation and trusted me with the keys to their house to dog sit when I was 12 years old...what were they thinking :) I grew up without a pet my entire life except one goldfish because traditional Asian parents do not believe in pets...big sigh. Dog sitting has been the outlet for me to feel like I have a pet. You can count on me for being the new best friend for your dog! What else... I'm super friendly, easy to get along with and enjoy being outdoors. In additional to being a huge dog fan, I love animals in general. I had fun building my profile with pictures and stumble upon my encounters with all animals. That's all for now! Let me know if you have any questions.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Long Island City
I cannot say enough good things about Tingli and Samuel. They have been a godsend for evenings and weekends and last minute bookings. I also feel very confident in their care for my dog, who is bigger and reactive. They are very capable, communicative, courteous, and considerate. I highly recommend them!!
My dog seemed comfortable very quickly and came back tired and happy but not over crazy like he missed me too much. Just what I was hoping would happen. Getting an abused shelter dog used to getting attention from others is a slow careful process. Emily did a great job being friendly and confident.

William was incredible and very understanding of my dog's personal needs. I was pleased with his communication and quick responses when it comes to taking care of my pet and addressing any potential health concerns. Overall I can tell my dog enjoyed the walk and being with William. I am pleased with his service and would highly recommend!

Erin has been walking Royce for many months at this point and is a phenomenal dog walker. I cannot thank her enough, such clear communication and flexibility! Extremely reliable!! Royce loved her and will miss her. Highly recommend- only ending our reoccurring weekly walks due to moving!!

Michelle is amazing! I highly recommend her. She has been walking my high energy Samoyed for months now and I have nothing but positive things to say about her. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other dog walkers and Michelle was willing to meet with me (and meet my dog) ahead of time so that I could get to know her and feel comfortable with her. She is super communicative and so wonderful to work with. My dog loves her. He’s very high energy so she takes him to the dog park or on long walks, and he loves the variety. there has been times where I needed help with blizzard last minute and she is always quick to respond.

My dog told me he was considering packing his bags and moving in with Jessica. I was sad at first, but I get it. She's a natural with dogs. They gravitate to her, and with good reason. Marshall absolutely adores Jessica and I am beyond grateful to have found her on here. You should not hesitate, book Jessica immediately. She's awesome.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
