Dog Walkers in Astoria, NY

About: I have interacted with many pets since young - many of my friends as well as a few relatives have pets that I would occasionally watch. I am working as an accountant but I have the flexibility to work from home when necessary and take breaks to play with your pups or bring them on walks. I have a small backyard outside of my apartment if I will be boarding your pup. If I am taking care of a pet at a client’s home, I will make sure to communicate with the client and be attentive to the pup’s needs and wants.

About: I've been taking care of all sorts of pets since I was in high school (for about 10 years) and have loved it ever since. My aunt, a full time animal care taker, used to let me tag along with her from house to house. She got me my first jobs as an overnight dog/cat sitter. I currently watch my friend's pets in nyc when they go on vacation or need an extra hand with their fur baby. I'd like to pursue taking care of animals more often as it's something I enjoy so much. I'm currently working at a fitness studio and my schedule changes week to week. However, I send my availability into work about a week in advance. I am available to stay over to watch your pet most nights out of the week. I live in Astoria by the water and Astoria Park which is great for long walks. I am also more than comfortable staying over at your home with your pet and helping out around the house in any way I can while you are away.

About: I work from home, so I’m able to come to you to sit with your fur baby or host them at my place, if that feels like the best fit and your comfortable with that. For pups, I’m happy to provide short walks as needed. I have 25 years of experience as a cat mama, including administering medication and caring for senior kitties. While you’re away, I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of cuddles, treats, and food and water exactly as instructed. I truly understand the peace of mind that comes from knowing your babies are being well cared for and would love to provide that for you! I currently work from home and live near Astoria Park. With a flexible schedule outside of scheduled meetings, I’m happy to fit in short walks during the workday. I can also welcome your fur babies into my home for short stays or come to you—whatever works best for you and your pet.
