About: I was previously in a internship program about animals specifically dogs for a whole summer. Picking up after them and feeding them. It was about 28 dogs on the busiest days and the minimum was about 10 so I got to know very different and unique dogs. As of now I am open and available to watch any furry animals like cats or dogs for as long as I am required too. I have a very nice and playful dog myself that loves the company of other animals. She loves making friends and is gentle with smaller animals.

About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.

Hemei has been great with my dog Kiara! She walks her a 3-4 times a week and is very responsive, professional, and communicative. She is very flexible with her schedule which is amazing since my week to week work schedule sometime varies. Hemei made the extra trek for a meet and greet before starting so that I could rest assured that my dog would be comfortable with her. She is reliable and a true dog lover and you know she will look after your fur baby as her own. Highly recommend her!

About: I have 10 years of experience in raising cats and 6 years of experience in rescuing stray cats. I have 3 cats at home. I am experienced in taking care of kittens, sick cats and dealing with cat stress. I live in a large house with 6 rooms and a backyard for two families. Most of the cats that come to foster care are in single rooms. I love cats, just like I love my own children. My husband and I work from home, so we have plenty of time to take care of your pets, we have plenty of time to take them for a walk. The house I live in has two floors and six rooms. I hope the owner provides food, and I will be provide snacks. The cats will live alone in the cat house for the first two days when they come to my house. I will observe the friendliness of the cats to decide whether to let them play with other cats.

Very gentle and it’s obvious she cares for animals just how slow she walk with him, knowing he’s an older dog have a 14-year-old Shih Tzu. Don’t walk very fast and she just took her time that means a lot to me not to rush him around just to get the work over with. Thank you again Rachel. See you shortly.

About: Hi guys! Can’t wait to make a new furry friend and meet your fur baby 😊💕 I’ve loved animals since I was little, from being an avid Animal Planet watcher when I was a child and unable to own a pet, to becoming the go-to petsitter for my family and friends growing up, and from 2016 becoming a dog mom myself! I have experience caring for a range of animals of various sizes and personalities, from talkative parrots, to calm cats, to playful huskies. My approach centers around respect for each animal, their individual personalities and their comfort levels/boundaries. I aim to adapt to their needs and provide a comfortable and safe environment where they can maintain their routines and be themselves. I currently have open availability to accommodate your pet’s needs and spend quality time. I am open to traveling farther distances for longer term visits. Feel free to inquire for any questions. Pet safety and transparent communication with you are my utmost priority. I always strive to follow general safety protocols and am careful to follow detailed instructions. I know how difficult it can be to be away from them and I can provide updates as frequently as you’d like. Promo code for you/any pet parents you know! ($20 off first Rover booking): NICHOM50347

I can't say enough good things about Anny, who walks my dog, Pancito. From the very first meeting, it was clear that Annie is an incredibly professional and kind individual. She has a natural ability to connect with animals, and it's evident in how much Pancito adores her. Pancito gets so incredibly excited whenever Annie arrives, it’s like she’s greeting a long-lost friend. The bond they've formed is truly remarkable; watching them interact, it's as if I'm walking my own dog – that’s the level of trust and affection they share. Anny’s dedication and gentle approach make her an absolute star, and I feel so fortunate to have found her to care for Pancito. I will definitely be booking with her again,

Janet is an outstanding dog walker! She bonded immediately with our two English Setters, and they happily anticipate her arrival when it is time for a walk to our nearby park. Janet sends us photos, videos, and updates throughout the walk.  She keeps up a brisk pace but is sensitive enough to allow the girls to sniff when they wish, without them sneaking any inappropriate "snacks" that might be lingering on the path. Janet has an upbeat personality, and is always on time yet very flexible.  We can’t recommend her highly enough!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
