“Janet is an outstanding dog walker! She bonded immediately with our two English Setters, and they happily anticipate her arrival when it is time for a walk to our nearby park. Janet sends us photos, videos, and updates throughout the walk. She keeps up a brisk pace but is sensitive enough to allow the girls to sniff when they wish, without them sneaking any inappropriate "snacks" that might be lingering on the path. Janet has an upbeat personality, and is always on time yet very flexible. We can’t recommend her highly enough!”

“Hemei has been great with my dog Kiara! She walks her a 3-4 times a week and is very responsive, professional, and communicative. She is very flexible with her schedule which is amazing since my week to week work schedule sometime varies. Hemei made the extra trek for a meet and greet before starting so that I could rest assured that my dog would be comfortable with her. She is reliable and a true dog lover and you know she will look after your fur baby as her own. Highly recommend her!”

“Deshauna walked and gave meds for our Yorkie, Champy. Deshauna accommodated our request for a meet-and-greet prior to walking him for the first time, which was important to explain the medication. During the walk, she arrived on time and was attentive to Champy's needs, and gave medication. Sent pictures and updates. I highly recommend!”

“Sylvia is a great communicator and very caring to my dog. She made sure he got his water, wore his cooling vest, shoes and stayed safe during the most intense heat wave. She eased my worries, I highly recommend Sylvia!”

About: I have 10 years of experience in raising cats and 6 years of experience in rescuing stray cats. I have 3 cats at home. I am experienced in taking care of kittens, sick cats and dealing with cat stress. I live in a large house with 6 rooms and a backyard for two families. Most of the cats that come to foster care are in single rooms. I love cats, just like I love my own children. My husband and I work from home, so we have plenty of time to take care of your pets, we have plenty of time to take them for a walk. The house I live in has two floors and six rooms. I hope the owner provides food, and I will be provide snacks. The cats will live alone in the cat house for the first two days when they come to my house. I will observe the friendliness of the cats to decide whether to let them play with other cats.

About: My husband and I are animal lovers, but I would be the main watch keeper since I am home full time :) We have been around puppies our whole life. I call all doggies, puppies (regardless if they're young and old) I grew up with Cocker Spaniels and my husband with a Mini Pinscher. We currently do not have any dogs at home Potty time for your pup is whenever the pup needs, we have a fenced backyard where they can go at any minute of the day, in addition to the daily walks around the neighborhood. I would love to have the opportunity to watch these little ones. I have used Rover.com in the past ,and had a great experience. Looking to give the same love that she received from her sitter to another puppy. I will keep you posted throughout the day with pictures and videos so you have a peace of mind that your pup is in good care and happy. I am more than happy to meet with you and your pooch before you confirm my sitter services to make sure your pup feels comfortable and vice versa.
“It’s was such a blessing to have Cynthia walk our furry baby Aria during our 17 day trip overseas. She showed to be responsible, reliable and very loving with Aria. She sent me daily pics and documented every walk. It was such a joy to hear daily from their walks. Aria adores her and will keep coming back for more and more walks in the near future. Thank you so much Cynthia! Aria adores and misses you!”

“Ari was great! Deemo loves him and they had some good time together! He is very friendly to come to help over.My father is also happy to chat with him ;) we will definitely ask Ari to help again in the future.”

About: I’ve spent a lot of time researching what it takes to be a great cat parent, and I’m finally ready to welcome a feline friend into my home. I live in a stable, pet-friendly environment and have already 'cat-proofed' my space. I work a steady schedule, which means I’ll have plenty of time for evening play sessions and grooming. I’m looking for a companion to care for and am fully committed to providing a lifetime of quality vet care, high-quality food, and lots of affection. • Morning (7:00 AM - 8:00 AM): * Feeding: Fresh food and a water refresh (cleaning the bowl to prevent bacteria). • The "Litter Check": Scooping the box first thing ensures a clean start to their day. • Quick Interaction: A 5-minute brush or a quick "hello" play session before heading to work. • Evening (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM): • The Main Event (Play): 15–20 minutes of active play (laser pointers, feather wands) to simulate "the hunt." • Dinner: Feeding after play mimics the natural cycle of Hunt \rightarrow Eat \rightarrow Groom \rightarrow Sleep. • Second Scoop: Scoop the litter box again. • Night (10:00 PM): • Wind-down: Checking window locks and ensuring the cat is settled inside for the night. When caring for a pet in a client's home, the priority is minimizing stress by maintaining their exact environment and scent profile. • Security First: I would strictly follow entry/exit protocols (alarms, double-locking doors) to ensure no "door-dashers" escape. • The "Scent" Factor: I recommend keeping the home's routine identical. I’d use the client’s preferred cleaning supplies and keep the pet in the rooms they are most comfortable in. • Daily Logs: I’d provide "Proof of Life" updates—photos, feeding times, and notes on bathroom habits—so the owner feels connected while away. • Home Tidiness: Aside from pet care, I’d ensure the home looks exactly as it did when the client left (mail brought in, plants watered, no "pet mess" left behind).
About: I have taken care of my pets both back home and in the city for many years. My favorite part of taking care of dogs is having a buddy to walk around the city with. I love taking my time strolling through the park giving your dog lots of time to sniff. I also love giving your pet all the ear scratches they could want. I have experience giving oral medications to pets. I am very timely and responsible, especially when it comes to pets with special needs. I have a lot of love to give your pet and can’t wait to meet them! I am a current graduate student at Columbia so I have a flexible schedule during the day. I am generally available around midday on the weekdays. I also tend to have a flexible schedule in the evenings and on weekends. I love cuddles and playtime and think that every animal needs both. I always try to make sure your pet is getting all the love and spoiling they deserve. I like to approach pets I am meeting for the first time with a calm demeanor so they can get a sense of me and I can get a sense of them. But most importantly, I try to meet them where they’re at!
“Dean is great!! Super reliable, communicative and amazing with my dog Dior. I booked Dean superrr last minute this weekend and he responded immediately, kept me updated throughout the walks and I can’t wait to book him again”

I can take your fur babies on walks, a personal pet picnic, or even take them to a pet park so they can socialize with other pets. I am currently a full time teacher. So I am available after 2:30 and full time on weekends. To schedule care time, please give me two weeks notice. Thank you! I can take care of your dog in your own home. Of course, safety comes first, please leave me notes so that I will be aware of it.
About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and my family for almost 15 years. I also work for a dog walking/ sitting company throughout college! I am currently working part-time. I have a lot of extra time on my hands help you with your your furry friend! I can walk them or check in on them whenever you need! I always make sure our furry friend is secured in their leash or harness. I also have a backyard if they decide to join me and my golden retriever, Zelda, at our house!
About: I’ve had my dog for 6 years now. Since getting her I have taken care of her by feeding her, taking her on walks, spending time with her in general, and being the sole care taker when my family is away. I also worked at a pet supplies store for 9 months, only leaving to go to college. There I learned about what dogs and cats need in general as well as got experience interacting with the many different types of dogs when they entered the store. There I met a dog, Neo, who I got to know when I became there dog walker. It gave me experience in walking a dog and getting to know a dog that wasn’t my own. I’m excited at the prospect of working for you and your dog or cat. Animals are truly some of the best things the world has to offer and I promise to do my absolute best to take care of them! I will be at home for all of winter break, and my true passion of being an actress means that much of my work is self tape auditioning. Therefore, I will have a lot of free time during the week and weekend! The most important part is making sure the dog is safe, for me this means making sure the dog doesn’t have access to anything that could be harmful, as well as when taking the dog on walks having the harness fully on in the correct manner and being on the lookout for other dogs/cars/and anything else that could potentially cause danger. That being said it is also important that I care for the dog by spending time with them, giving them treats(based on the owner’s preference), and petting them.
About: As a devoted dog mom and longtime animal shelter volunteer, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pups of all ages, temperaments, and needs. My background has taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of tailoring care to each dog’s personality. Whether it’s energetic walks, calm companionship, or extra TLC, I treat every pup like family and ensure they feel safe, loved, and happy. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday routine. With a very flexible schedule and lots of availability, I’m able to give pups consistent attention, love, and care whenever needed. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions, maintain a clean and secure environment, and create a calm, loving atmosphere. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and protected at all times

I’ll definitely repeat her for the future!

Iris was so so amazing, she was super understanding towards my dogs personality since she’s more on the shy side, she was super sweet and made sure I was aware of everything that was going on. I felt so at ease having her come over to my place! Would definitely book her again and recommend her to everyone! ❤️

Filomena was wonderful - my dog loved her - she was on time and would take videos while she was walking my dog.
