About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 5 years, including my family dog and family friends’. I love going on walks, bathing, and feeding dogs. I know some tricks to give them medicine if needed. I’m working part-time on Saturdays, so I have plenty of free time to dedicate to your fur baby throughout the week. I don’t have any time restraints, so feel free to rely on me. I know how to crate dogs, regardless of age, and have a lot of patience since I’ve babysat toddlers before too. I know not all dogs are the same and wait for them to approach first unless there’s an emergency.

About: Every dog has their own personality, and I believe the best care starts with understanding that. Some dogs want to play all day, some need patience and time to trust you, and others are happiest just having someone calmly by their side. I always take the time to learn what makes each pet feel safe and comfortable. My experience with animals started helping rescue dogs in South America, including dogs that were scared, shy, or came from difficult situations. It taught me patience and how important it is to let an animal trust you at their own pace. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as cats. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, cuddly, independent, or a little nervous with new people, I’ll care for them based on what they need and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. Pet care has always been a big part of my daily routine. I care for my own pets every day, so I’m very used to planning my schedule around feeding times, walks, playtime and making sure they get the attention they need. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to the pets in my care. I understand how important consistency is, so I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including their usual walk times, feeding schedule and any specific instructions you have. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible even when you’re away. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and your home in someone else’s care. I take that responsibility seriously. I always follow the routine and instructions you give me because I want your pet to feel as comfortable and normal as possible while you’re away. I pay close attention to feeding times, walks, medications if needed, playtime and the little things that are specific to your pet. I’m also respectful of your home and will always leave it the way I found it. I’m happy to send pictures and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe and being well cared for. I care for every pet with the same patience and attention I would want someone to give my own.

About: I treat every dog and puppy like family! I’m loving, patient, and always ready for walks, playtime, cuddles, and lots of belly rubs and cuddles! It’s something that I’d like to do, if It’s possible to do it everyday and meet new cuddly friends, I’d love to have that opportunity to help! About: I have owned animals my whole life and cared for them. I attended an animal science program for two years where I cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. My duties included walking, feeding, bathing, nail and fur trimming, and cleaning kennels. I have also pet sat for friends and family for 4 years taking care of both cats and dogs. About: I have had dogs in my life dating back to 2003 with my childhood dog Buddy. As he progressed into his senior years in 2012, I took on a lot of his care and this developed my passion for animals, especially senior animals. I’m 2021 I rescued a 10 yo senior beagle named Dexter, who enjoyed 367 of the best days of his life before he sadly lost his battle with kidney disease. It’s very important for me to keep your pet safe and unable to escape or be put in precarious positions. I will never unleash your dog under any circumstances nor have them interact with other dogs on walks unless you Instruct me to do so.

I'm also a journalist with a love for writing about movies and TV (which I do part-time). I’ve also administered a variety of medicines to animals, including stomach meds hidden inside a pill pocket, liquid antibiotics measured via a syringe, and blood pressure meds. I also recently administered daily ringworm medication to an older cat: his lesions resolved completely under my care, which was great. I also love looking after dogs and in particular have cared for many poodle mixes. 🐩 I love taking them on walks (I can walk two at a time) and paying visits to the dog park, regardless of if you have a high-energy dog with a fetch addiction or a more low-key fellow who prefers to saunter and sniff. I’ve also looked after puppies and trained them on basic drills and commands. Many treats were provided in exchange for their sacrifice, and cute faces, of course! I promise: your pets are 100% my priority. I’m not the type of sitter who will leave your fur children on their own for long stretches of time. I will be there for your pets so that they know they’re safe and loved! About my routine: I’m presently a journalist doing casual weekend work, but that work is done from home. At other times, I’m pitching and/or job hunting. This means I have a ton of time to spend with your babies, which is especially useful if your pets get separation anxiety. I love to play with animals and will make sure they’re getting balanced days, filled with play, pats, rest, relaxation, grooming, and of course, their daily food and water! About: In addition to my own pet, I have extensive experience caring for other animals. I've pet-sat for both cats and dogs. Additionally, I've sat for dogs with very specific medical needs. I work part-time in retail. Right now, I don't have a fixed work schedule, but I'm gone for no more than six hours on any given day I work. I am also willing to change shifts or move as needed.
