About: I have 10 years of experience in raising cats and 6 years of experience in rescuing stray cats. I have 3 cats at home. I am experienced in taking care of kittens, sick cats and dealing with cat stress. I live in a large house with 6 rooms and a backyard for two families. Most of the cats that come to foster care are in single rooms. I love cats, just like I love my own children. My husband and I work from home, so we have plenty of time to take care of your pets, we have plenty of time to take them for a walk. The house I live in has two floors and six rooms. I hope the owner provides food, and I will be provide snacks. The cats will live alone in the cat house for the first two days when they come to my house. I will observe the friendliness of the cats to decide whether to let them play with other cats.

About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.

Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”

Most importantly, she took the time to develop a close bond with our normally shy cat, petting, playing, and grooming her. Peaches usually hides at the sound of the door, but Alissa found her waiting for her in the foyer upon entry, a sight unheard of in our experience. Our minds were at ease that our beloved cat was in her loving hands. As a bonus, Alissa took amazing photos of Peaches on each of her visits, some of the best portraits we have, which we will treasure. Chok is the most caring and conscientious cat sitter I’ve ever had. Leaving your pets behind is always stressful, but she immediately put my mind at ease. Melody and Houdini instantly connected with her—they usually take time to warm up to new people, but they absolutely adored her! She was incredibly attentive to their routines, extremely thorough with the care instructions, and treated my home with the utmost respect. It is so clear that she genuinely loves animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they are happy, safe, and comfortable. I could tell from her detailed updates and photos/videos she sent that my cats were in fantastic hands the entire time. ***Chok also administered asthma medicine to one of my cats (an inhaler using Aerotek chamber and mask). Jennifer was fantastic—even our most bashful cat, who had to be allowed to eat in the bedroom on her first day, was showing up to greet Jen at the front door by the end of her gig. We got plenty of photos from each session, and they were happy and full of energy when I finally came home. I would definitely ask her to take care of our cats again!
