“Repeat customer of Nancy’s and she is wonderful as always! After a week away I came home to relaxed kitties, which means they felt safe w Nancy while I was away. Thank you!”
“Looking forward to having Christopher and Fritos bond - seems like a great fit for us. Christopher is very kind and I trust he will be able to be good company for Fritos for a midday check in and pee break!”

“Lillybeth is a fantastic cat sitter! She visited Smokey daily and made sure he was well taken care of and, of course, had fun at playtime. She was very communicative and sent multiple pictures and updates daily. I would absolutely have her look after Smokey again.”
“Devon was a wonderful cat-sitter. She was timely for every check in and made sure to send me thorough updates about my cat’s eating habits and his mood. She also gave him plenty of exercise and sent me pictures after every visit. Walter (my cat) loved her! I will definitely be re-booking her services!”

“Bianca was awesome! She took great care of my cat while we were away, was super communicative, took pics and provided updates. Would 10000% recommend her and use her again in the future!”

“Austin is so good with our kitties Molly and Ruby. He was very attentive to what they needed while we were out for a week. Molly needs lots of love from people and she loves Austin! Ruby is very shy, and he made sure to respect that while still making sure she was eating and comfortable. Would definitely recommend him for cat sitting cats of any temperament.”

About: I grew up in somewhat of a menagerie in south Florida where we had lots of property and animals like 5 Akitas, a ring tailed lemur, a kinkajou, 2 house cats and 2 big cats (lynx & bobcat). I am no stranger to rolling up my sleeves at home or for my clients. I've cared for pets internationally in Morocco and domestically in NYC. As a natural caregiver and as a clinical social worker I have the highest standards when it comes to those in my charge. I currently work remotely on a part time basis as a recruiter and a caregiver for my grandmother. We have a full house with support coming from many directions and I am looking for a way to make a little extra cash while spending time with animals. My grandmother and husband would prefer not to have a permanent pet, so this is a great compromise. As a clinical social worker I take my work with humans and pets very seriously. It's a mission and I took an oath as an MSW graduate to do my best for all in my charge. My home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Jackson Heights near a dog park. My home is secure, comes with a backyard and is very clean. Nothing would please me more than to have a furry guest from time to time.

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets :) I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 10am. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I follow the owner’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I also keep the home clean and send regular updates with photos.
About: I’m a responsible babysitter and dog sitter. I’ve taken care of young pups and senior dogs. I understand dog body language well enough to assess situations when needed. I love a challenge and that means multiple dogs, larger dogs, and I could dog sit for hours. I follow instructions and I’m open to extra services before sun down. Although I’m new, you should not underestimate my experience. You can rely on me to be your dog’s new companion, I’m very flexible and adaptable. I love taking photos so you would not regret a photoshoot! I encourage pet owners to ask about any concerns or requests. I work part time helping animals! Feel free to ask me about that, but my scheduling is always changing so don’t be afraid to reach out to see if we can work around it! I don’t have a yard but the apartment is open except the main bedroom. There’s also a dog park nearby so we can have some safe outside play time!
“Miguel is great! Totally reliable, right on time every day, kept me posted on everything - and my super-shy cat even came out to take a look at him while he was here, which is a first!”

“I had a great experience with the nail trim service. She was incredibly responsible, professional, and patient throughout the entire visit. She handled everything with care and made sure my dog was comfortable the whole time. I really appreciated her attention to detail and reliability. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled pet caregiver!”
“Luciana is an exceptional pet sitter! She was incredibly reliable, showed genuine affection for our pets, and provided regular updates. It's clear she truly cares about animals. Our pets were happy and well-cared-for, and we felt at ease knowing they were in such capable hands. Highly recommend!”

“Medina was wonderful - extremely easy to communicate with and took great care of my cats! It was super easy to contact her and she sent lots of pictures with each visit. Thank you Medina!!”

“I highly recommend Christina. She was flexible about doing a quick meet-and-greet before the actual pet sitting, which I really appreciated. She was attentive to all the instructions, asked thoughtful questions, and gave updates. Overall, I felt like my pets were in great hands.”

“Xiaoying was amazing, I'm so thankful of how well she took care of Barthy. She understood his needs, personality and quirks. I will not hesitate to contact again to look after him for my next trip.”

“Sorry for the late review. Eli took great care of my cat, and my apartment was tidy despite my shy cat making a bit of a mess. She did a wonderful job. I highly recommend her for your fluffy buddy!”

Eliza did an amazing job with my senior kitty. She stayed in communication with me throughout the booking, sent daily photos/videos and was very responsive. She administered medications, followed instructions and kept the place very clean. I would 100% book again and recommend her to anyone looking for a someone safe to keep your little friends company when you’re unable to be at home. A+ job!

Abby was absolutely amazing! She did such a good job taking care of our kitty, Pabu. She provided us with consistent, detailed updates and the best cute photos, so I felt confident my sweet boy was being taken care of. Her good energy is evident because he immediately took to her, and loved “showing off” during her visits. I would highly recommend her for your pet-sitting needs, and will definitely be enlisting her help in the future. Thank you so much, Abby!

Nikki always goes above and beyond! This is my second time booking her to watch my cat Lychee, and she always reliably sent me upwards of 40 photos a day, and detailed updates that I looked forward to while I was traveling. She’s very sensitive to Lychee’s needs and Lychee loves playing with her!

This was my first time using Katerina and she was wonderful. Punctual, communicative, and caring. I received great updates every visit and was able to fully enjoy my location. I would recommend Katerina to anyone and I will definitely be using her services again in the future.

Kiana did a great job caring for my cat while I was away for a week. She leaves very thorough descriptions of the visits and sends a ton of pictures and sometimes videos. She is receptive to feedback and is very communicative. She also had a good understanding of what my cat needed each visit ie more affection vs playing.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
