“Lenin went above and beyond in making sure that our apartment was taken care of as well as our three cats! We were updated every single day and felt our cats were in very safe hands. Thank you so much Lenin!”

“I had a great experience with the nail trim service. She was incredibly responsible, professional, and patient throughout the entire visit. She handled everything with care and made sure my dog was comfortable the whole time. I really appreciated her attention to detail and reliability. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled pet caregiver!”
About: Hi! I’m Cristina, a responsible and caring college student who genuinely loves animals, especially cats. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m dependable, patient, and attentive, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine, provide companionship, and send updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. As a college student, I keep a structured schedule and can offer reliable pet care during select weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I’m especially available for drop-in visits, cat care, and walks, and I’ll always communicate clearly about availability. I understand that trust is one of the most important parts of pet care. In a client’s home, I always respect the space, follow instructions carefully, and make sure pets stay safe, comfortable, and on their usual routine. I pay attention to details like feeding instructions, clean water, litter box care, walks, and keeping doors securely closed. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

“Nancy was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more or better! Tiny and Trout adored her right from the start!! And we are sure they are already miising her. Can't recommend her enough!”

About: I’ve lived and cared for animals for most of my life. I had a Yorkie named Ben who was gifted to me by a family member in 2012. He was my little shadows for nine wonderful years until he sadly passed away from heart failure in 2021. I also had a ginger cat named Suco, a fiesty but loving outdoor kitty who brought so much joy and personality to my home. He live a long and happy life until he passed away from old age in 2024. Through caring for my childhood pets they taught me so much like how to patient, attentive and nurturing with pets of different personalities and needs. I’m pretty flexible when it comes to scheduling, I’m a part time student who attends class twice a week. But the rest of the week I’m available. I care for my pets as if they were family members and I like to focus on making them feel safe and comfortable first. It takes time getting to know each pets personality and routines.

“Judy was great! Very easy and pleasant communication, did the job and then some. My dog was very happy to see her. I will definitely ask Judy to help me again when I need someone.”

About: I grew up in somewhat of a menagerie in south Florida where we had lots of property and animals like 5 Akitas, a ring tailed lemur, a kinkajou, 2 house cats and 2 big cats (lynx & bobcat). I am no stranger to rolling up my sleeves at home or for my clients. I've cared for pets internationally in Morocco and domestically in NYC. As a natural caregiver and as a clinical social worker I have the highest standards when it comes to those in my charge. I currently work remotely on a part time basis as a recruiter and a caregiver for my grandmother. We have a full house with support coming from many directions and I am looking for a way to make a little extra cash while spending time with animals. My grandmother and husband would prefer not to have a permanent pet, so this is a great compromise. As a clinical social worker I take my work with humans and pets very seriously. It's a mission and I took an oath as an MSW graduate to do my best for all in my charge. My home is in a quiet residential neighborhood in Jackson Heights near a dog park. My home is secure, comes with a backyard and is very clean. Nothing would please me more than to have a furry guest from time to time.
“Christopher did an amazing job of making sure I didn't have separation anxiety from cat. The daily check ins and photos kept me at peace. His personality is very warm and reassuring which also helps when trying to determine the best fit for your pet. I highly recommend him.”

About: I have always been surrounded by dogs and cats and I thoroughly enjoy being in their company. I have an immense love for animals and find great joy in spending time with them. I am currently taking online classes, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I am able to dedicate plenty of time to spending quality time with your best friends. I have veterinary experience from working at an animal hospital, which has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs. I am detailed oriented and thrive on following directions precisely to ensure the best possible care for your furry friends.
“Katherine is amazing!!!! So so communicative, sweet and caring towards my kitty. She genuinely did such a great job and I will definitely be contacting her again if I go out of town! Please consider Katherine!”

“She is wonderful! Even was able to help me out last minute when my flight got delayed. She was attentive thorough and gave me great detail when visiting my two 18 year old kitties-1 of whom requires twice daily insulin injections. I totally trust her with my boys and will definitely book her again!!”

“Katherine was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my cat while I was out of town, even going above and beyond to make sure she had clean water when her water fountain broke. I can’t recommend Katherine highly enough!!”

“Bianca was awesome! She took great care of my cat while we were away, was super communicative, took pics and provided updates. Would 10000% recommend her and use her again in the future!”

About: Hi there! I grew up in Istanbul which many of you would know, is a cat heaven! I love animals because they are honest, pure with their expression of love and appreciation. They live the day as if there is no tomorrow, which personally is something I can look up to. All my life I have been surrounded by multiple pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, snails... now I have two cats, whom I get sad whenever I am away from. I understand how important and emotional it is to find a good sitter when we cannot be around, someone to take care of them as if their own. In your absence I will be a mama, play date, caregiver, and a reliable friend to your little babies. I am a very patient person with compassion, have trained eyes for detail, and endless love for animals. I have been taking care of my partner's family dogs and mini horses whenever they go out of town for the past five years, alongside with my brother's four pawed clients in the last couple years. I'm an aspiring artist working from home, have plenty of time to share my love and care, on most days. I can board couple bonded cats, just as I foster sometimes for a limited time. I live in a two bedroom apartment with two cats, and able to keep the cats separated for the time of boarding. Just as how I introduced my cats slowly, very slowly, I am well aware that it is never a good idea to put them together all of a sudden. One of my cats never met a dog before, so I would not board any dogs at this time. I care for pets as my own, keeping them safe, clean, well-fed and watered, and well played. I believe we owe them at least that much keeping them in our homes.
About: I’m a responsible babysitter and dog sitter. I’ve taken care of young pups and senior dogs. I understand dog body language well enough to assess situations when needed. I love a challenge and that means multiple dogs, larger dogs, and I could dog sit for hours. I follow instructions and I’m open to extra services before sun down. Although I’m new, you should not underestimate my experience. You can rely on me to be your dog’s new companion, I’m very flexible and adaptable. I love taking photos so you would not regret a photoshoot! I encourage pet owners to ask about any concerns or requests. I work part time helping animals! Feel free to ask me about that, but my scheduling is always changing so don’t be afraid to reach out to see if we can work around it! I don’t have a yard but the apartment is open except the main bedroom. There’s also a dog park nearby so we can have some safe outside play time!
“Lillybeth is a fantastic cat sitter! She visited Smokey daily and made sure he was well taken care of and, of course, had fun at playtime. She was very communicative and sent multiple pictures and updates daily. I would absolutely have her look after Smokey again.”
About: I love all kinds of animals and my friends and neighbors regularly rely on me to take care of their pets. I have 20+ years of experience being a go to sitter for everyone I know! I have a flexible schedule and am available any time! I am happy to help any time of day, including odd hours such as very early or late! I follow any instructions provided by the client closely and make sure to keep all spaces clean and safe for the pet. I am always respectful of other peoples spaces!

“Rose was really great with my cats and they seemed to take to her very quickly. She followed all instructions left, if she had any questions she reached out and was ready to get a hold of and response time was great. I will definitely use her again”

Eliza did an amazing job with my senior kitty. She stayed in communication with me throughout the booking, sent daily photos/videos and was very responsive. She administered medications, followed instructions and kept the place very clean. I would 100% book again and recommend her to anyone looking for a someone safe to keep your little friends company when you’re unable to be at home. A+ job!

Abby was absolutely amazing! She did such a good job taking care of our kitty, Pabu. She provided us with consistent, detailed updates and the best cute photos, so I felt confident my sweet boy was being taken care of. Her good energy is evident because he immediately took to her, and loved “showing off” during her visits. I would highly recommend her for your pet-sitting needs, and will definitely be enlisting her help in the future. Thank you so much, Abby!

Nikki always goes above and beyond! This is my second time booking her to watch my cat Lychee, and she always reliably sent me upwards of 40 photos a day, and detailed updates that I looked forward to while I was traveling. She’s very sensitive to Lychee’s needs and Lychee loves playing with her!

This was my first time using Katerina and she was wonderful. Punctual, communicative, and caring. I received great updates every visit and was able to fully enjoy my location. I would recommend Katerina to anyone and I will definitely be using her services again in the future.

Kiana did a great job caring for my cat while I was away for a week. She leaves very thorough descriptions of the visits and sends a ton of pictures and sometimes videos. She is receptive to feedback and is very communicative. She also had a good understanding of what my cat needed each visit ie more affection vs playing.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
