“Leaving our dog is never easy, however Bridget made him feel right at home. She always kept us updated and sent us updates, pictures and videos all of the time. She has her own dog, so we were worried about how he’d react to coliving in another dogs home. We were told after a day, the two got along very well. Bridget was very cool about drop off/pick up times as well, as we dropped him off pretty late, since she had work. But we also picked him up pretty late, as our flight back was a little delayed. Overall, our dog came back happy and excited to see us and we could tell he was well taken care of. Thanks Bridget!”

My doggy boys stayed with them for a week while we were travelling out of state and they looked like they were having a nice little doggy vacation themselves with their new found friends. I am no stranger to rolling up my sleeves at home or for my clients. I've cared for pets internationally in Morocco and domestically in NYC. As a natural caregiver and as a clinical social worker I have the highest standards when it comes to those in my charge. I currently work remotely on a part time basis as a recruiter and a caregiver for my grandmother. We have a full house with support coming from many directions and I am looking for a way to make a little extra cash while spending time with animals. My grandmother and husband would prefer not to have a permanent pet, so this is a great compromise. As a clinical social worker I take my work with humans and pets very seriously. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for over 2 decades. I’ve helped train dogs, provided prescribed medication, assisted in emergencies and give lots of puppy pats. I’ve worked with 15- year-old chihuahuas and 6 month old Labrador puppies without any issue or worry. Overall, I’ve been a pet owner and understand how important it is to feel comfortable putting your dog in a new situation. So I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. My main priority is that your pet is safe, comfortable and cared for until your return. I’m a freelancer and I usually can work remotely, so I have the freedom to schedule my week as I see fit. That means I can take dogs out multiple times in a day, without it disrupting my schedule. In my home, I live in an apartment which means I take dogs out every 2 hours. Depending on their size and energy I take longer or shorter walks. And at other people homes I’m happy to follow specific instructions but, as my own set of rules, I make sure to clean any messes I find on the property, if a vacuum is available I’m happy to vacuum hair/fur, especially if the pet owner is away for more than 5 days, I’m always available to communicate if any owner wants to check in with me and of course I’m happy to face time if you’d like to check in on your pet. I usually send and end of day message with a picture of your pup and a review of our day.

“Elena was able to take Kiwi last minute while I had a family emergency. Not only was she able to step in, she did an amazing job with Kiwi. I knew Kiwi was safe, all her meds were given to her exactly as needed and she got all of her daily walks! I got updates and pictures, Kiwi had a great time with her 🩷 I would absolutely use Elena again, I feel lucky to have found her. I highly recommend Elena for any pup but she did especially great with my sensitive, high maintenance girl.”

Her home is spacious and clean, and there's a backyard which was perfect for my dog to go potty in the snowy weather during my trip. Would definitely recommend and book again! Thank you Diana!!”
