“Laura was very considerate of the instructions we left for our two cats and very prompt and responsive. She made a true effort to bond with both our cats, including the shy one. We were able to enjoy our time away that much more knowing that Laura was taking care of our pets in our absence!”

“This was my first time using Rover and having someone other than a friend or family watch my 13 year old cat; Arli absolutely took care of my girl just like she was a close friend or family. My cat was in her trust for almost 2 weeks and everyday I got several photos and she was always very quick to respond about anything. I travel for work for long periods at a time and truly felt more at ease with my cat in Arli’s care. I can tell from the photos that she’s a true cat person! When I finally got home my place felt better than I left it and my cat’s space was as well taken care of. My cat also didn’t seem in distress when I finally got home after the long trip- a true sign she was well loved and taken care of. I will absolutely be booking Arli again!”

“First time having a ca sitter who wasn’t a personal friend and they put me at ease with the whole thing. Very kind but still professional and my cat instantly got along with them which was great!”

About: At a young age family members asked me to take care of their pets. Fast forward now my sister has relied in me to walk and dog sit her pup. I'm an artist/art-teacher/illustrator/computer- animator. Right now my schedule is pretty flexible. So why not use my free time to do something I enjoy doing and love. Will always respect someone's home and their pet and follow their rules and directions. And will leave a note or message to the owner on how day went.
About: I pay attention to dogs behaviors to adjust myself . I definitely treat them like people who deserve respect and love ! I tolerate their temper. I am very patient when it comes to getting their attention. And I love love playing with them and praising them. I love talking to them. But I also keep rules strict. I love having a relationship with them . I believe it’s important to respect them to earn their trust and in return they will respect me by following my rules. I am attentive to their needs, I am sympathetic when they are scared , tired or happy . They warm my hearts as much as I will be for them . Their innocence softens my heart .
“Alexander visited my dog Sonic for a brief period, but during that time he was kind, attentive, and took amazing care of him. I could tell he really cared about Sonic. I one hundred percent recommend booking with him. I know he’ll give your pet the same attention and love he gave Sonic.”

About: Hello everyone! My name is Brianna. I'm 30 years old looking for an opportunity to make a second income especially doing something I enjoy. I am a full time employee in the city but would love to spend my spare time off playing and taking care of your pets. I've had dogs, cats and even a snake growing up. I love animals and always will. Unfortunately, I can't afford one right now so it'll be great to get paid to play and take care of one. If you're looking for a genuine girl to love your pet, I'm the one you can count on. Pets are really good at knowing who to trust and they will definitely love me. I will make sure they receive all the attention, love and care they need. Looking forward to meeting your fur babies 😊 I am a full time employee in the city but will have plenty of time on the weekends to take care and walk your fur babies I have experience walking dogs as well as taking care of cats. I used to have a fur baby named Bella who was a husky and had lots of energy since she was a pup. I have learned how to walk energetic dogs as well as being patient with them. I will ensure your baby will be well taken care of as well as loved 🥰
“Faith was a great sitter for our cat Molly. Faith came every morning to feed and play with her. She sent us photos every visit, which we loved! Faith was attentive, communicative and went above and beyond during her visits. We trust her and hope to work with her in future! 10/10 would recommend.”

“Raul did an excellent job pet sitting for Gunner. He made sure to follow instructions my husband and I gave him, which gave us a peace of mind. When something wasn’t completely clear, he checked in with me, I really appreciated that level of communication and care. It’s safe to say he’s doing a great job getting to know both us and Gunner, and we feel comfortable trusting him with our dog. Highly recommend!”

“Eleni was WONDERFUL with my 2 cats!!! I will definitely be hiring her again!!! Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”

About: I have over 10 years of experience working as a dog walker and pet sitter, caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities. My experience as a dog walker has taught me how to safely handle all kinds of dogs and understand their individual needs, energy levels, and behaviors, especially during walks. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable home where dogs can relax, play, get plenty of attention, and feel right at home. We have a backyard for playtime and are close to parks for walks and exercise. I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs and personalities, from playful puppies to sweet seniors. And of course, I’ll keep you updated with daily photos and videos so you can see how much fun your pup is having and have peace of mind while you’re away. I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I love making sure every pet feels happy, safe, and loved while in my care. I live in a house with a fenced backyard where pets can safely play and enjoy outdoor time. I also have a nearby park for walks and extra exercise if the owner prefers. I am very adaptable and always follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s preferences, whether that means specific feeding schedules, walk routines, playtime, or special care instructions. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and at home while providing the level of care their family expects.
“Erik was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly responsive, communicative, kind, and friendly from start to finish. My dog is very shy and usually takes a long time to warm up to new people, but he opened up to Erik almost immediately, which says a lot. Erik also accepted a last-minute booking during an insane heat wave and still showed up in 90-degree weather without hesitation. I truly appreciated his reliability and care. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again”

“My 15 year old diabetic cat recently entered DKA and underwent very intense and very costly treatment that required serious recovery and supervision. I took off a few weeks of work but due to the added costs I needed to return back to work in order to continue caring for her and treatments. I was of course naturally worried leaving her after having survived such a serious illness and Katie stepped in a really helped put all that anxiety and worry at ease for me. I truly feel like she made all my worries go away upon returning to works All her visits were well documented (she sent me lots of pictures and videos of play time sessions, medicines given, the food and water put out, and she always stayed for longer than booked for and I never came home to a mess. It was evident to me that she was treating my babies like they were her own. From phone calls to texts to in App updates Katie is truly a delight to work with and I can’t recommend her services enough to anyone looking for their pets to receive the same level of love and care that mine got from Katie. I work long hours in film and my old lady will need continued care so definitely plan to keep booking her as much as possible. For those who view their pets as children; Katie’s the one for you.”

“She is wonderful! Even was able to help me out last minute when my flight got delayed. She was attentive thorough and gave me great detail when visiting my two 18 year old kitties-1 of whom requires twice daily insulin injections. I totally trust her with my boys and will definitely book her again!!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and intuition I bring to every animal I work with. I’m not just a sitter—I genuinely understand dogs on a deeper level. I’ve helped deliver puppies, cared for senior dogs with patience and attention to their changing needs, and I have hands-on experience rehabilitating abused and neglected animals. That means I’m calm, observant, and able to read behavior quickly—whether it’s a nervous rescue or an energetic puppy still learning boundaries. I’m especially comfortable with puppies (potty training, basic commands, structure) and senior dogs who need a slower pace, medication, or extra comfort. I also naturally go above and beyond—whether that’s making sure routines are followed closely, giving extra affection, or keeping a close eye on subtle changes in behavior or health. Outside of sitting, caring for animals is just part of who I am. I regularly feed and look out for stray animals, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. Your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be understood, protected, and genuinely cared for. As an only child, I’ve always found a deep sense of comfort and connection in caring for dogs. Being able to meet their needs, earn their trust, and give them love brings me a genuine sense of purpose and fulfillment. It’s something that feels natural to me, and it’s a big part of why I’m so dedicated to the care I provide. I have a large, fully fenced yard with low grass, which creates a safe and comfortable space for dogs to walk, play, run, and enjoy plenty of outdoor time.

Rest assured, they’ll receive plenty of affection and playtime. I can’t wait to meet your furry companions! I’m currently working from home which means I’ll have plenty of time to play with your beloved furry friends! I also have two sisters at home who are just as experienced as I am! ( Your furry friends will never be home alone!) If I’m not free my sisters will be free, there will always be someone at home! I have a very playful toy Aussie named Riley and she’ll happily keep your furry friends company. I have plenty of toys and treats to offer too ( Riley loves sharing!) There is plenty of space for your furry friends to run around / chill.
About: I've had cats and dogs all my life. My family adores animals, and your pet will receive lots of love and attention from our household (my husband and I as well as our two college aged children). We recently lost our dog of 12 years and are looking to fill that hole with the time spent with your fur baby. I have a private fenced yard and there is a park on the corner of my home. I will manage all your pet's needs. I work part time 5 minutes from home. There will be at least 3 walks a day and lots of attention. FYI there is usually a family member home at all times. Pets are allowed on furniture. I will follow your regimen and provide videos and photos of your pet. I only want to service one to two pets at a time. There are no young children in our home.
“Katie was awesome! She watched Fran and Maneki over the holidays and everyday we got an update with photos ? she’s super thorough and great with the cats ❤️ Your animals will definitely be in good hands with Katie!”

The absolute BEST cat sitter ever! Tina is responsive, incredibly thorough, and goes above and beyond to be cleanly! I mean, she is fastidious!!! I returned to a spotless home, with two cats that I can tell had been played with so enthusiastically! They now expect nothing less than the best play and care, so I’ve got to step my game up to match Tina :) will work with her forever if she’ll have us! Thank you thank you Tina!

Jasmine was excellent! She accommodated us on a short notice request to visit our two cats. They absolutely loved her. She played with them and sent us tons of photos showing them having a great time. Would definitely recommend Jasmine and we will be hiring her again!

The ratings don't lie - Diane is the best! Super professional, knowledgeable, responsible, and communicative. Diane had no problem giving our older cat medications and keeping him well while we were away for 2 weeks. Our cat obviously loves her! Highly recommend, we will definitely hire her again!

Xiaoying is the best! She took such great care of my baby. She was so detailed in her Rover card. She fed my cat, gave her cuddles, played with her and even administered her insulin. If you’re looking for a sitter, please book her! You will have such a great experience. She gave me a peace of mind while I was away that I hadn’t experience before. Will be booking again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
