Rescued an 11-year-old golden retriever in 2017. Have dog sat / cat sat / dog walked for family and friends for years, most recently a Rhodesian ridgeback and golden/lab mix in the West Village, and a husky/cattle dog and a chihuahua/Jack russell mix - both in Bushwick. About: I've had cats and dogs all my life. My family adores animals, and your pet will receive lots of love and attention from our household (my husband and I as well as our two college aged children). We recently lost our dog of 12 years and are looking to fill that hole with the time spent with your fur baby. I have a private fenced yard and there is a park on the corner of my home. I will manage all your pet's needs. I work part time 5 minutes from home. There will be at least 3 walks a day and lots of attention. FYI there is usually a family member home at all times. Pets are allowed on furniture. I will follow your regimen and provide videos and photos of your pet. I only want to service one to two pets at a time. There are no young children in our home.

About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.
