I've also watched my friends and family pets, and took care of them for extended periods of time. I will ensure your dog gets the proper walk and love and care it needs! As a college student home for the summer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and consistent care throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I would follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions. I’d also make sure their home is respected and kept clean while giving their pet plenty of attention, care, and comfort

“Joshua came to walk my pups on a rainy day. This is the most difficult time to walk them as they hate rain and are shy around new people. He did great! He took them both out and checked in with me to keep me up to speed and if he had any questions. I have trouble taking them out in rainy days so 10/10 will definitely book again!”

“Devora was super communicative, and was very patient with Cheeto (who can be a bit suspicious of new people in his space!). I got regular updates during the walk and felt at ease knowing she was looking after my lil guy. Will definitely be booking w Devora again!”

About: About me! Have had my cat Bo for 18 years, and also previously two Maine Coons. Currently have a second cat, Sydney, 3 years old, the second love of my life. Rescued an 11-year-old golden retriever in 2017. I get it - I’ve used this service. You want to know that the person is doing their part when and how they say, and that your dog/cat is in good hands. I’m also ok w messy jobs. I’ve cleaned up after my sisters bulldog/terrier mix Bonnie when she’s pooped all over the house Bc her stomach was upset :/ From Las Vegas/California, college educated (BA in journalism / polysci). I’m an actor, writer & remote worker. I currently work part-time, fully from home, and my schedule is flexible. With a bit of notice I should be able to accommodate most requests. Thank you for enquiring! I can do both in terms of pets in my home / clients home. As long as your animal is OK w a cat, they can stay at mine, but happy to dog/cat sit from your place as well.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention my dog Sage receives from Asher! He comes three times a week, always on time, and is so reliable. It’s clear that he truly cares about Sage’s well-being, paying close attention to her needs, whether it’s her energy level or favorite spots for a walk. I love seeing the adorable selfies they take together—Sage is always so happy and clearly enjoying her time out. Asher is not just responsible and professional, but also super sweet and kind. I feel so lucky to have found someone who genuinely connects with my dog and treats her like family. Highly recommend!”

“Cailey was very thorough with her notes and photos which is very comforting to me as the dog owner. She seems to be very gentle and understanding with my pup who can be hesitant and a little nervous. I would recommend Cailey and will book again!”

Keis took wonderful care of my dog while I was away. She was reliable, kind, and kept me updated throughout the stay, which gave me peace of mind. My dog was happy and well cared for when I returned. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker or pet sitter!

William was excellent with our dog Coco. Coco was quite nervous and apprehensive at first but William knew exactly what to do to make Coco feel better. And coco really enjoyed his walks with William. We will definitely be asking William to walk Coco in the future.
Nicole was amazing with Mylo! He can be hesitant to go on walks, but she was incredibly patient, gentle, and kind with him. She took the time to make him feel comfortable instead of rushing him, and it really showed how much she cares about the dogs she works with. I really appreciated her patience and the way she handled him. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was with someone who understood his needs. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker! Amazing person!

Kate is absolutely incredible and truly treats our animals as if they are her own! I have a high-maintenance dog but her attention to detail is unmatched. She followed all my notes perfectly, asked the right questions. She is also so proactive. She even switched up their walking route on the fly when there was a disturbance on the block. Her photo updates and notes after every visit are fantastic. Even though it's a daily routine, she writes every summary with so much care, like it's the first time she's updating us. She also does an amazing job with my partner's cat. Kate is officially our go-to for all our pup and cat needs and we'll definitely be booking her from now on!

We are thrilled to be back with Ashley walking our dog Cagney after a two month break this winter. She is so kind and loving, patient and above all professional. She has also done a bit of training with him. Cagney gets so excited when the buzzer rings and runs to greet her. Definitely an asset to Rover!

Carlos always goes above and beyond with my pup Nala. He takes such great care of her despite the extreme weather fluctuations from high heat to cold ice and snow. And he is incredibly flexible and understanding. I’m glad I have him as a recurring walker for my pup

Rebecca is the *only* person I trust with my baby, Espresso! She plays with him, makes sure his medication is taken daily and takes him on wonderful adventures on their walks! He is always so excited to board with Rebecca! I always feel at ease dropping him off and knowing that he is in the best hands! Highly would recommend Rebecca for all your pup sitting/walking needs! 🥰

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
