About: About me! Have had my cat Bo for 18 years, and also previously two Maine Coons. Currently have a second cat, Sydney, 3 years old, the second love of my life. Rescued an 11-year-old golden retriever in 2017. Have dog sat / cat sat / dog walked for family and friends for years, most recently a Rhodesian ridgeback and golden/lab mix in the West Village, and a husky/cattle dog and a chihuahua/Jack russell mix - both in Bushwick. About: Rosie’s path to dog training began with a curiosity about animals that started early. As a teenager, she went to vet camp and attended a spay & neuter program which exposed her to animal health and hands-on veterinary care. Working in a high-volume shelter environment - particularly with anxious and behaviorally complex dogs.. Over time, behavior and training became the natural focus of her work. Rosie has continued to deepen her knowledge of relationship-based and balanced training, behavior modification, play-based training, socialization and neutrality, and breed-specific care. Training her own service dog has been one of her most formative experiences, giving her an up-close understanding of how relationship, consistency, technique, and clear communication come together to create reliable behavior in the real world. Angel has been so wonderful and patient with our dog, Leo, who is very guarded and doesn’t take to new people very well. Had a really wonderful experience with Kevin and Vivian. Communication was great and they're super easygoing but still took the time to listen to my concerns about Gio (95lbs, 5.5 y/o) and how to handle him in certain situations. They kept him busy, pottied and tired, which is all I can ask for! Honestly the best dog walking experience I've had. They're so trustworthy and were also happy to do a meet and greet with Gio beforehand. They even refilled his water bowl and took care of the little things. Will definitely be booking again for future walks!
