About: Rosie’s path to dog training began with a curiosity about animals that started early. As a teenager, she went to vet camp and attended a spay & neuter program which exposed her to animal health and hands-on veterinary care. Those early experiences sparked an interest not just in caring for animals, but in understanding how health, environment, and behavior intersect. That curiosity eventually led her into professional animal care and welfare. She spent several years working hands-on with dogs before joining Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), where she gained experience with animals across a wide range of temperaments, histories, and behavioral needs. Working in a high-volume shelter environment - particularly with anxious and behaviorally complex dogs.. Over time, behavior and training became the natural focus of her work. Rosie has continued to deepen her knowledge of relationship-based and balanced training, behavior modification, play-based training, socialization and neutrality, and breed-specific care. Training her own service dog has been one of her most formative experiences, giving her an up-close understanding of how relationship, consistency, technique, and clear communication come together to create reliable behavior in the real world. Rosie’s curiosity extends beyond traditional dog training. She is deeply interested in the foundations of whole-animal wellbeing including nutrition, husbandry, enrichment, physical health, genetics, and environment, and how each can influence behavior. Her experiences with both dogs and cats have reinforced her belief that behavior rarely exists in isolation. Today, Rosie brings that perspective to her work with dogs and their people. Rather than focusing solely on commands or correcting unwanted behaviors, she wants to understand the individual animal - their temperament, instincts, history, environment, needs, and relationship with their person - and use that understanding to create training that is thoughtful, practical, and built for everyday life. Rosie is currently engaging in ongoing clinics and applied training focused on canine behavior, training foundations, behavior modification, enrichment, and handler communication. I do pet care full time as I train dogs and cats! I have a full house of animals with two cats, two dogs and a reptile! We enjoy an active life with walks, play and adventure although have a nice balance with rest too:) Safety is my #1 priority. I firmly believe that a trained animal is a happy animal! Every animal that comes into my care has clear expectations so everyone can thrive to the best of their ability. If at daycare, I have the ability to crate and separate dogs and I have a clean, fenced in backyard that has a doggy pool for those warm summer days! For check ins and walks, i'm all about what is most comfortable for the pet. If your cat just needs someone to clean their litter box, thats what I'm there for! Wether its a potty break or full adventure, I'm here for it!

About: I’ve taken care of cats or dogs ever since I can remember. I have been trusted with my own and those belonging to my family or friends . I am happy to be of service when helping a furry friend . I am still working from home and thus have the flexibility to care for my dog and my family while also making an income . I have a fenced back yard and gated front space for hanging out and exercise . have ample space in my living room or other rooms for my furry friends to explore . I also have an indoor safety gate too if we need to give our furry friends they’re space . My household includes multiple animal lovers ! Plenty of love, play , and attention to be provided here !

About: I’ve been taking care of my very own dog since I was nine years old I had a beagle and a dachshund in which I both used to care for I would feed them, walk them, go to the park and engage in activities, give baths when needed. I have also pet sat for my friend’s dogs or cats when needed. My passion is for animals. I have worked in a veterinary setting for over a year and I do have knowledge of animals my main priority and what I strive for is the care these animals will receive. I currently own a year 10 old dachshund who is the sweetest boy ever.! my goal and my passion is treating these animals, as if they are my own I am highly experienced with the dachshund breed being an owner of them for over 20yrs, I have knowledge with senior dog care. I have administered oral medication insulin, and any nutritional values. The owner may request. I currently do have an open availability genuinely starting at 11AM and I am available all days expect Tuesdays mornings, pet care has always been a passion of mine! However, I’m instructed to do so, many animals have different needs and require different instructions so it’s very mindful to be open about specific cares of your pet and needs and it will be my pleasure to ensure high quality care

About: An advocate for your dog and their wellbeing! I have a 2 year old Yorkiepoo that I’ve consistently trained alongside a certified dog trainer, who now enjoys long hikes, beach outings and parks all throughout the city and beyond! Meeting your dogs breed specific needs and safety are my top priorities. I work from home M-F, so I typically start the day at the park around 5:30 am with training and playing sessions for about an hour. After that, my dog has breakfast and sleeps until mid day, when I take him out for a 45 minute walk, has lunch and sleeps again until 4pm. We play and train with his dinner and go out for a walk before winding down and doing his night time routine, getting him ready for bed. My dog is crate trained and has a pen, both of which are used whenever I can’t be around and need to make sure he is safe. I also have a dog camera that is on when I’m gone to ensure his safety.

About: I have experience teaching dogs and puppies basic commands such as sit, lie down, stand, and stay, ensuring they develop good behavior and skills to stay obedient. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I like to stay active and constantly move on my feet, walking and running allows me to explore new neighborhoods and areas. This gives me the opportunity to meet different dogs breeds and learn about their unique traits and behaviors. I currently have pets of my own and regularly dog-sit for my sister’s German shepherd mix, ensuring he stays active by walking him four times daily to manage his high energy levels. Additionally, I have experience dog-sitting for my cousin’s pug mix, Louie, typically caring for him for about two weeks at a time. During these periods, I make sure he is bathed and groomed before returning home. Growing up, I owned a dog for approximately eight years, where I developed the essential skills needed to properly care for and manage a pet's well-being.
