“Silvia is an incredible pet sitter! She was very attentive to our cats needs, cuddled and played with them, and followed all our feeding and litter-scooping instructions. We enjoyed the photos and videos that she took of them, and she helped us feel at ease while we were miles away from our babies.”

About: I have over 20 years of experience living with and caring for dogs, ranging from high-energy puppies to gentle seniors. Having raised a dog through every stage of its life, I am deeply attuned to animal behavior and specialized needs. What sets me apart is my active lifestyle; as a regular runner and yoga practitioner, I have the physical stamina to provide long, engaging walks for high-energy breeds. I am also a cat mom to two, so I’m comfortable with multi-pet households. I pride myself on being incredibly punctual, communicative, and observant. Whether your pet needs a fast-paced run or a patient stroll, I treat every animal with the same safety-first mindset and affection I give my own. I am currently in a transitional summer before I move across the country to begin my MBA at Berkeley Haas this fall. Because I am currently away from my full-time job, pet care is my primary focus for the summer. I have wide-open, flexible availability for walks, drop-ins, and boarding throughout the week and on weekends. Since I am preparing for a rigorous graduate program, I am extremely organized and disciplined with my time, ensuring that I am consistently punctual and reliable for every booking. Safety is my absolute priority. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment where your pet will be treated like family. I am a cat mom to two friendly indoor cats, so I am very experienced in managing multi-pet dynamics and ensuring a peaceful environment for everyone. I am happy to accommodate crating or provide separate spaces if your dog prefers their own area. When caring for pets in your home, I am hyper-vigilant about security and following your specific household rules. My background as a runner and yoga practitioner keeps me physically capable and mentally alert, so you can rest assured your pet is in safe, attentive hands while you are away.

“Tiffany is the best friend a dog or person can have Attentive loving and so thorough hudson and I can’t wait to see you again This is why I refer you to my friends”

“This was my first time using Rover and having someone other than a friend or family watch my 13 year old cat; Arli absolutely took care of my girl just like she was a close friend or family. My cat was in her trust for almost 2 weeks and everyday I got several photos and she was always very quick to respond about anything. I travel for work for long periods at a time and truly felt more at ease with my cat in Arli’s care. I can tell from the photos that she’s a true cat person! When I finally got home my place felt better than I left it and my cat’s space was as well taken care of. My cat also didn’t seem in distress when I finally got home after the long trip- a true sign she was well loved and taken care of. I will absolutely be booking Arli again!”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life. I began pet sitting and walking for neighbors when I was 13 and have continued to care for friend's dogs and cats since then. I have experience with young, adult, and senior dogs of small, medium, and large size. I also have experience with rescue dogs with anxiety and specific triggers. I currently work freelance and have full control of my schedule. My availability for walks is fully open every day of the week after 10 am and my availability for sitting varies week to week but I am typically able to move my commitments around. I believe in building trust with dogs through consistency, positive reinforcement, kindness, and lots of play, as well as keeping to your typical routine. I typically do not allow leashed dogs to greet each other due to safety risks unless you are specifically working on socialization, but have experience handling dogs showing fear or aggression when around other dogs.
About: I’ve had my dog for over 15 years and I’ve walked and taken care of other people’s dogs for more than 5 years. I’m comfortable taking care of big dogs as well as dog and cat sitting too. My schedule is pretty flexible and I devote most of my week to pet care, so I should be able to accommodate your requests even if they are last minute. I am careful and meticulous when I am in another person’s home and taking care of their pets. I follow their regular daily routines and always make sure pets are fed and played with in addition to taking them for walks.

“Frances was an excellent cat sitter! Frances has cats that she cares for herself and it certainly shows. She always checked in on the booked dates and provided ample communication on how she could best serve our two cats. She helped replace their litter, water filter, and food, while my significant other and I were away on vacation. Frances also never failed to send us photos of our two cats during every visit, which was extremely appreciated. Highly recommend booking Frances if you’re in need of a cat sitter!”

Will definitely rebook and recommend to other pet parents who are looking for a warm and reliable sitter. Thank you, Mayleth!”

“Christiana has taken care of my cat, Watson, numerous times and she’s great! She’s very responsive and has been able to help out when I’ve had last minute travel. She also has managed well giving him some supplements in addition to his normal food/routine.”

“Megan was a 10/10 sitter! She made us feel so comforted when we were away from our Pixel for nearly 5 days - she sent plenty of photos and left little notes about how our cat baby was doing each day. Couldn't recommend her more. Thank you so much again!”

Maspeth dog parents share their Rover experiences
I had a great experience with the nail trim service. She was incredibly responsible, professional, and patient throughout the entire visit. She handled everything with care and made sure my dog was comfortable the whole time. I really appreciated her attention to detail and reliability. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled pet caregiver!
I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! She took such wonderful care of my dogs and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear she treated them like their own, making sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Communication was great throughout, and I really appreciated the detailed updates. I came home to two very happy pups, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!

From the very first interaction, Leah stood out as someone I could genuinely trust with Ollie. During our meet and greet, she asked all the right questions — about his routines, temperament, any behavioral quirks, and anything else she should know. She also made it clear she would never introduce him to other dogs without first ensuring it was safe, which I really appreciated. Leah was wonderfully patient with him during the meet and greet, understanding that letting him come to her on his own terms was the best way to build trust. Since Ollie is still young and learning to be comfortable around new people, her calm and unhurried approach made a real difference. During the sitting itself, she kept me well informed with updates, photos, and thoughtful notes about how he was doing. And when a family emergency came up and my plans had to shift on the fly, she adapted without hesitation — her flexibility and understanding during a stressful time meant so much. I would absolutely recommend Leah to anyone looking for a sitter who is gentle, attentive, and truly has your dog’s best interests at heart.

Diana is great and I would recommend her to all my pet parent friends! She's been super accommodating to my last minute changes / requests. She has also been great with my Odie - even as a dog who needs extra attention on walks and at home. Diana also helped me out with taking care of my foster kittens when I was away which was super helpful! And being available on the weekend was a major plus. Couldn't recommend Diana enough!

Mark is truly the best around. He is incredibly loving, attentive, and thoughtful with our fur babies, and he’s also an excellent communicator. We always feel so lucky knowing they are in his care. It’s a delight to bump into him around the neighborhood, too! 😆💕
