About: I have professional pet care experience in many roles, serving all types of species and breed. I’ve worked in: Corporate dog grooming Doggy Daycares Open intake animal shelter Vet assistant - ( currently ) I’m open to building relationships with pets who might be behaviorally complex and can be a bit tricky to handle in collaboration with the pet parents. I’m comfortable in almost any pet you might need care for, any age is fine. I have some experience feeding neonate kittens. The only pets I can’t offer care to are any fully aquatic critters or amphibians ( lack of experience ) For puppies I can offer desensitization to grooming Based in Queens and open to bookings throughout areas of Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. I’m currently a part-time in training vet assistant, I’m off Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I miss working pet Daycares but my current schedule can change so something flexible like this is a better fit I care for the pets as I do in my professions, I listen to all and any instructions and rules set by the pet parent(s) and use my understanding of pet behavior to ensure a safe environment or walk for the pet. If the pet has any allergies then I’ll ensure to avoid bringing/consuming/interacting with said allergen a day ahead of seeing the pet in question. If the pet is reactive on walks then I prepare myself with treats and toys and keep a safe distances from possible triggers. For walks, by default I don’t allow pets in my care to interact with other animals outside unless the pet parent is ok with allowing it. For home visits or house sitting I don’t mind hand playing with pets, however some pet parents prefer no roughhousing or only engaging in play with pet toys. I’m perfectly fine with either choice in husbandry. Should a bite incident occur I will notify you and continue to care for your pet as safely as the situation allows. While a bite is never a fun experience a level 1 - 3 bite incident won’t disrupt the current care appointment you had originally booked.
“First time having a ca sitter who wasn’t a personal friend and they put me at ease with the whole thing. Very kind but still professional and my cat instantly got along with them which was great!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and intuition I bring to every animal I work with. I’m not just a sitter—I genuinely understand dogs on a deeper level. I’ve helped deliver puppies, cared for senior dogs with patience and attention to their changing needs, and I have hands-on experience rehabilitating abused and neglected animals. That means I’m calm, observant, and able to read behavior quickly—whether it’s a nervous rescue or an energetic puppy still learning boundaries. I’m especially comfortable with puppies (potty training, basic commands, structure) and senior dogs who need a slower pace, medication, or extra comfort. I also naturally go above and beyond—whether that’s making sure routines are followed closely, giving extra affection, or keeping a close eye on subtle changes in behavior or health. Outside of sitting, caring for animals is just part of who I am. I regularly feed and look out for stray animals, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. Your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be understood, protected, and genuinely cared for. As an only child, I’ve always found a deep sense of comfort and connection in caring for dogs. Being able to meet their needs, earn their trust, and give them love brings me a genuine sense of purpose and fulfillment. It’s something that feels natural to me, and it’s a big part of why I’m so dedicated to the care I provide. I have a large, fully fenced yard with low grass, which creates a safe and comfortable space for dogs to walk, play, run, and enjoy plenty of outdoor time.

About: I’ve taken care and walked dogs of every kind since I was 21. I started off with rover and WAG! from there got to meet lots of dogs of every breed and sizes. I had amazing clients that relied on me and used to walk their dogs in every party of Manhattan, but when COVID came I had pet owners that moved out of NY and so many of my clientele fell down by a lot. Now I’m trying get on my feet on what I love the most I have dealt with lots types of dogs and experienced a lot with animal care. I also got references from previous clients on how much they can tell you about how their dogs loved me when I came in every day to walk them. Right now I’m pretty much open on my schedule it depends on the area and timing but for now my availability is open right now. Well as of now I live in home floor and I tend to watch the dogs that stay over night throughout the day so they don’t anything silly.
About: Growing up, I had the joy of loving and caring for an 80-pound, goofy, American Pitt Bull Terrier, named Meryn. Throughout my high school years, he was my constant companion, playing catch at the East River Park on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. We would jog across the Williamsburg Bridge and run up and down the stairwell in my apartment building to burn off energy (we lived on the 11th floor). He was an incredibly curious boy, who made training fun. He was very motivated by treats and praise. Through repetition and treats he learned all the basic commands. I have petsat many times for family members over the years. Pets included are dogs (large and small breeds) cats, hamsters, and a bearded dragon once. My longest dogsitting experience lasted 3 weeks with my aunt’s pug, Coco Rico, while my aunt was on vacation. During this time, Rico had an ear infection and I had to administer his ear drops. Being a pug, I had to ensure his eyes and face folds were clean. I have catsit for my brother’s diabetic cat, Tuna Fish, on several occasions. I administered insulin injections daily. I learned how to measure the proper dosage and how to safely/comfortably give her the injections. She was diagnosed with diabetes in 2020, so it was not easy learning how to give a cat a shot via a Zoom call with the vet! But learning this and helping my brother with the insulin injections, kept Tuna going for 4 more years after diagnosis. This is by far the most medical care experience I have had with pets. Nowadays, I regularly borrow my Gen Z daughter’s dog, Espresso. He’s a Pomeranian-Chihuahua mix, and my favorite little guy. My grandpup, if you will. With this past winter being a very cold one in NYC, I ensured to dress Espresso in his sweater, coat, and boots for his walks. I do photo shoots with him while on walks, during play time, and naps. I update her with anecdotes throughout the day, such as mentioning any puppy pals we ran into while out and anything funny or adorable he’s done. She even recently said to me, “You take the most wonderful pictures of him.” That truly warmed my heart because I love capturing him in different places and poses. My pet baby now is an American short hair cat with calico patterned fur, named Basil (aka Ms. Lady Boop Boop). She’s a 16 year old, still feisty gal, who has a favorite fishy toy that dangles from a wand. Being a senior, she has developed arthritis in her old age and now makes use of cushioned stairs to get on the couch/bed. She also needs an eye ointment, the application of which has become part of our daily routine. In the past, when she has been ill, I've also given her medicine in liquid form via syringe as well as getting her to swallow a pill. Additionally, I took care of a feral cat that would visit me now and then. My family has a home in Albany, in upstate New York, and I'm happy to board dogs up there for weekends or extended stays should a pet parent allow it. The feral cat that would visit me was in Albany and would appear randomly in our backyard. I fed and watered him whenever he came by. He was deaf and the sweetest guy, who loved rubs and to hang out on our deck. He had an extra digit on each front paw, so I dubbed him Thumbs. One day, when he visited, I noticed immediately that he had fleas on him. I gave him a bath a kiddy tub in my backyard with flea shampoo. I bought the flea comb and collar and got rid of those pesky bugs. I know he was grateful because he'd been scratching so hard, his fur was missing in some places. I am a visual artist and writer, working from home, so my weekdays are flexible. I set my own schedule working on my projects so I can easily accommodate different pet types and time slots for care. I occasionally travel to my family home in Albany, upstate New York, but I always plan that ahead of time and I am happy to board pets up there if the pet parent is open to that option. I live in a 2-bedroom apartment in Brooklyn, NYC. I am located on the 3rd (and top) floor of a walk-up building. I have a senior, female cat, who is very relaxed and sleeps most of the day. There is no outdoor space here, but there are local parks nearby, including a dog run. I also have a house upstate, in Albany, NY. There is plenty of space for running around here, including a backyard. We are currently having a fence put in and I will update this when it is installed.

“Jeffrey took care of our big 15lb cat, Amor. Jefferey was fantastic and even managed to get Amor to eat treats out of his hand! I can't even get Amor to do that. He was wonderful and we would definitely have Jeffery come back when we go out of town again to take care of our Kitty. Thank you Jefferey!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ozone Park
Nusta was absolutely incredible. I truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our dog while we were overseas. She went above and beyond in every possible way - taking amazing care of him, vacuuming and helping keep our home clean, bringing in our mail and Farmer’s Dog delivery, and even helping me during an emergency when I lost my debit card. Most importantly, our dog was SO happy. He had the biggest smile on his face when we got home, and it was obvious how comfortable and loved he felt with her. This was an extended trip overseas during such an important time in our lives - we got engaged while we were away - and because of Nusta, I genuinely did not have to worry about a thing back home. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone on this app, without hesitation. We will definitely continue using her because, at this point, our dog has officially welcomed her into the family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Nusta, for taking such incredible care of him and of our home. ❤️

Carolina is AMAZING! I just recently moved into my apartment, and was anxious about finding someone to take care of my dog (Staffie mix) and my cat - both senior pets - during a trip to visit family. I'm so glad I chose Carolina, she was absolutely fantastic - extremely professional, caring, and communicative throughout the visit, and I could tell from the first photo she sent that my pets were in great hands. The neighbors in my new building also had great things to say about her once I returned. I'm so grateful for her expert care, and definitely plan to book her again. Highly recommended!

Amanda was amazing with Flint! We had a pretty last minute situation and she came through for us with no hesitation. She was super attentive, communicative, and really took initiative during her drop-ins. She noticed things, checked in with us when needed, and went above and beyond without us having to ask. I felt comfortable knowing Flint was in good hands while we were away. Definitely someone I’ll be booking again in the future. Highly recommend Amanda!

Alex was great with my babies while I was gone for almost two weeks! When I got home I could tell they had been well taken care of, they didn't appear stressed at all which has happened in the past. Alex was super responsive and sent me such great pictures that helped relieve my anxiety. I would absolutely recommend her!

Christian is a great sitter. Gunner can be nervous/skiddish around new people, but with Christian’s patience and calm demeanor, Gunner was at ease in no time! There were no issues and he followed instructions I gave him. I would definitely book Christian again and recommend him to others.

Raul did an excellent job pet sitting for Gunner. He made sure to follow instructions my husband and I gave him, which gave us a peace of mind. When something wasn’t completely clear, he checked in with me, I really appreciated that level of communication and care. It’s safe to say he’s doing a great job getting to know both us and Gunner, and we feel comfortable trusting him with our dog. Highly recommend!

Such a great spirit and understanding of our dogs needs and temperament. She went above and beyond, playing basketball with him in the cold and recognized when he was stressed. She was great in cleaning behind our dog and following instructions to T in locking up the property.
