About: I've been caring for animals in different capacities for at least a year, and being a cat owner myself has shown me how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Our pets are family, and they deserve to be treated with the same love and attention we give them ourselves. I have experience walking dogs, as well as caring for cats with specific needs. Specifically, with my own cat who has kidney disease and eats prescription food. Additionally, I have experience administering medication (through food as well as by syringe). My goal is to provide every pet with compassionate, reliable care while giving owners peace of mind that their furry family members are in good hands. My schedule is currently very flexible for the summer, allowing me to accommodate a variety of booking needs. Before any service, I'd love to schedule a meet-and-greet so we can get to know each other, discuss your pet's routine and needs, and ensure we're a great fit. I want you to feel completely comfortable and confident that your pet will be in caring, reliable hands. When your pet is with me, they'll receive plenty of affection, playtime, and personalized care based on their needs and personality. I also believe in keeping pet parents updated, so you can expect regular messages, along with adorable photos and videos, to let you know how your furry friend is doing and how their walk or visit is going.

I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. About: My professional experience with dogs stems from caring for pets with the roles of Pack Leader and Receptionist while I was studying in Wisconsin. All the training I've learned is with the help of Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare. Currently, I'm working PT as a sales associate for Gap Inc., Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4:30pm-9:00pm. I am taking up petcare again to save up for school and possibly secure my own apartment. I have basic training, professional, as well as, personal experience caring for animals, fostering dogs, understanding animal behavior and being sure everyone involved is engaged or observing examples of safe play.

About: I have one dog of my own who is 4 years old. She is a husky-pit mix and if you have had either of the two breeds you'd know how challenging they can be. Yet, we manage to live a harmonious life with many complimenting us everywhere we go. I have dedicated myself to learning about training and I am dedicated to doing the best with what I know and learning more so I can do better. I bring this to every exchange I have had with clients trying to understand their dogs better and even received my certification in NEPOPO to continue learning. I can calm and handle even the most misunderstood animals and hope we can work together to give you and your loved one(s) the best life possible. A standard day includes structured potty, exercise, feed, nap, second potty, play, exercise, feed and decompression time again, final potty, then sleep. Each dog get's their attention and space. I am currently working from home (self-employed) and committing myself to bookings and working on projects from home. Trust and environment are everything for allowing a dog to feel safe and comfortable. I first like to do a walk through with my clients and their dog to understand any behaviors or needs the client or dog has and then we discuss specific expectations regarding routine, emergencies, home, care & communication.

Nusta was absolutely incredible. I truly could not have asked for a better person to care for our dog while we were overseas. She went above and beyond in every possible way - taking amazing care of him, vacuuming and helping keep our home clean, bringing in our mail and Farmer’s Dog delivery, and even helping me during an emergency when I lost my debit card. Most importantly, our dog was SO happy. He had the biggest smile on his face when we got home, and it was obvious how comfortable and loved he felt with her. This was an extended trip overseas during such an important time in our lives - we got engaged while we were away - and because of Nusta, I genuinely did not have to worry about a thing back home. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone on this app, without hesitation. We will definitely continue using her because, at this point, our dog has officially welcomed her into the family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Nusta, for taking such incredible care of him and of our home. ❤️

Carolina is AMAZING! I just recently moved into my apartment, and was anxious about finding someone to take care of my dog (Staffie mix) and my cat - both senior pets - during a trip to visit family. I'm so glad I chose Carolina, she was absolutely fantastic - extremely professional, caring, and communicative throughout the visit, and I could tell from the first photo she sent that my pets were in great hands. The neighbors in my new building also had great things to say about her once I returned. I'm so grateful for her expert care, and definitely plan to book her again. Highly recommended!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ozone Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Ozone Park with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ozone Park. On Rover:

  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
