I started dog sitting about 10 years ago for my neighbors and discovered Rover about 6 years ago. I’ve had experience with all breeds, sizes and age groups, as well as various species such as cats, rats, snakes, turtles and guinea pigs. I have learned to administer medicine orally or injections. I understand puppies and high energy dogs well and I’m more than willing to give your pet the right care they need. I like to take my regulars on longer walks or even trips to the beach or a park near by - but only once I feel confident in my knowledge of their behavior and reactions. I have a Bacherlor's in Biology from Queens College and I'm currently pursuing my Masters in Biology focusing on animal ecology, behavior and conservation. I was a zookeeper for about a year at the Staten Island Zoo where I cared for various species from reptiles to hawks, and learned about diets and proper handling.
