About: Why Rover? My fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge at 17 years old, over a year ago. I miss my dog, but im happy that this platform gives me the opportunity to be around dogs again. About me: I work in fashion and love dogs. I wish could be surrounded by them everyday. I adore dogs of all ages, but senior dogs hold a special place in my heart. I’m experienced in caring for seniors, including administering daily medications. I understand it’s stressful leaving your fur baby with strangers, but I’m extremely communicative and responsible. I’d treat your baby like my own. Im open to connecting prior to confirming the booking, if it helps calm any nerves. I am home most days of the week. I'm in the office 2 days per week. Fortunately my office has a relaxed pet policy, and I'm able to bring in dogs to work. I live in an apartment and believe dogs should never be crated. They’re free to roam my home and are welcome to sleep on my bed at night.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and currently still have 3 cats and a dog! I understand how to care for either animal at a very high level, and absolutely love them. I’m currently self-employed so I can easily make pet care fit into my schedule for both weekends/weekdays. I’m extremely flexible and reliable. My three cats and dogs currently live with us in our apartment. They’re constantly taken care of, loved, well-fed and cleaned up after 24/7.

Due to my early work schedule during the week, I’m available in the afternoons and evenings to care for pets. In the summer, I am off thanks to a school job! This allows me to offer flexible walk times for your pup, whether it’s a short walk or a longer adventure. I have personal experience caring for my senior dog, which has taught me how to address the needs of pets at different life stages. I know how important it is to adjust care based on age, temperament, and health. I apply this same attention when caring for pets in my home or a client’s, ensuring a safe, routine-based environment while keeping owners updated with regular communication.

“Highly recommend Kristin! She took amazing care of my cats and followed all instructions perfectly. She is communicative, sent great photos, and handled extra requests like mail and cleaning with ease. My cats were happy and safe under her care. I will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“I’ve been booking Dane’s sister for a while now, and she has been very reliable and responsive . Communication is easy and she gives excellent updates. My cat Flurry is shy, but he’s slowly getting more comfortable with her. Hopefully he ll get as playful and cuddly with her that he is with me. I appreciate that she tries to adapt her care with Flurry preferences and that I can rely on her every week.”

About: I have my first dog when I was 15 which was a Samoyed. I learned a lot of skills and knowledge while taking care of her. After her I start to have more dogs and got more experienced with dogs. Since now I have taken care of three of my own dogs all from when they were 2 months old until now one of them passed and other two are just lovely. I start taking care of my friends and families dog and have learned lots of different dogs. By now I learned how to wash and groom them, how to basic train them, their body languages, feeding, walking, biking with them, and more and more. I currently don’t have work just taking care of my dogs. Dogs get two to three walks each day, potty breaks anytime and dog park time with lots of other play time! I’m free all day and night. I live in a house three stories with basement and a fenced yard. I have the third floor and basement all to them if they want private space. If not they are free to go anywhere in the house. Playpen and crates are provided if needed and of course my two furry babies.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I grew up with them, have nursed pups back to health from serious illness, and have volunteered at an animal shelter. Being around doggies is genuinely one of my greatest joys. When your pup is with me, they'll get plenty of cuddles, attention, and love. And rest assured — you'll be flooded with photo updates so you never have to wonder how they're up to : ) I'm a freelancer who works from home. I will occasionally work on sight but my schedule is flexible and I can work around your pup's needs. I have a super friendly little Maltese who loves to play and socialize with new friends! If your pup prefers their own space, I'm happy to use a dog gate to keep them separate — when closed, it sections off the hallway and kitchen, giving your dog a comfortable, contained area to relax in. My home is fully dog-proofed since I have my own pup, so you can feel confident your dog is in a safe environment. Your dog will get walks as often as they need, plenty of cuddles and attention, and I'm also comfortable administering drops and medication. I ONLY accept one client at a time.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rego Park
Emily has been Coco’s regular dog walker for quite some time, and we truly could not have asked for someone better. She is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, communicative, and most importantly, genuinely cares about Coco. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing that when we were at work, Coco was with someone we completely trusted. Emily was always dependable, kept us updated after their walks, and treated Coco like she was her own. Coco absolutely loves her, which says everything! We’re only parting ways because Emily received an amazing full-time opportunity, otherwise we would happily have kept her as Coco’s walker for years to come. Anyone who has the opportunity to have Emily care for their pet will be incredibly lucky. We’re going to miss her so much and can’t recommend her highly enough. ❤️🐾

Booked Charlie for a last minute 1 hour drop-in visit, due to unexpected/urgent appointments that took me out for the day. My pup is a recently adopted rescue with some reactivity and other idiosyncrasies, and I wasn’t comfortable leaving her with an unknown boarder or daycare. I was upfront about Lala’s issues-in-progress and Charlie was gracious, accommodating and communicative. During the hour-long visit, he sent plenty of photos and met my pup where she was at. Visit went smoothly and I was able to focus on my rather stressful day without having to worry too much about her. Thanks again.

Kiana was fantastic with my dogs! She was super flexible on short notice, set up a meet and greet right away, and asked all the right questions. One of my pups is a senior who requires several medications twice a day, and she handled his care seamlessly. She is trustworthy, kind, and took wonderful care of my dogs. Her communication was great throughout the entire stay. I highly recommend her and will definitely book her again!

Carolina is AMAZING! I just recently moved into my apartment, and was anxious about finding someone to take care of my dog (Staffie mix) and my cat - both senior pets - during a trip to visit family. I'm so glad I chose Carolina, she was absolutely fantastic - extremely professional, caring, and communicative throughout the visit, and I could tell from the first photo she sent that my pets were in great hands. The neighbors in my new building also had great things to say about her once I returned. I'm so grateful for her expert care, and definitely plan to book her again. Highly recommended!

Amanda was amazing with Flint! We had a pretty last minute situation and she came through for us with no hesitation. She was super attentive, communicative, and really took initiative during her drop-ins. She noticed things, checked in with us when needed, and went above and beyond without us having to ask. I felt comfortable knowing Flint was in good hands while we were away. Definitely someone I’ll be booking again in the future. Highly recommend Amanda!

Vanessa was a sweetheart! This was my first time using this and she made me feel very comfortable and easy about this decision. She even came to introduce herself to me and Otis prior to the visit so I really appreciated that. And Otis loves her! That’s my favorite part! I’ll definitely be booking again.

Christian is a great sitter. Gunner can be nervous/skiddish around new people, but with Christian’s patience and calm demeanor, Gunner was at ease in no time! There were no issues and he followed instructions I gave him. I would definitely book Christian again and recommend him to others.

I had a great experience with the nail trim service. She was incredibly responsible, professional, and patient throughout the entire visit. She handled everything with care and made sure my dog was comfortable the whole time. I really appreciated her attention to detail and reliability. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and skilled pet caregiver!
I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! She took such wonderful care of my dogs and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear she treated them like their own, making sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Communication was great throughout, and I really appreciated the detailed updates. I came home to two very happy pups, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring!

Mark is truly the best around. He is incredibly loving, attentive, and thoughtful with our fur babies, and he’s also an excellent communicator. We always feel so lucky knowing they are in his care. It’s a delight to bump into him around the neighborhood, too! 😆💕

Raul did an excellent job pet sitting for Gunner. He made sure to follow instructions my husband and I gave him, which gave us a peace of mind. When something wasn’t completely clear, he checked in with me, I really appreciated that level of communication and care. It’s safe to say he’s doing a great job getting to know both us and Gunner, and we feel comfortable trusting him with our dog. Highly recommend!

Marcela did a wonderful job walking Beau and following instructions as he's still a puppy and training to walk. There is another puppy she walks in the apartment, but although we offered that she could walk Beau together with that puppy, she stated that she preferred to give each dog individual attention, which we were surpised by and appreciated. She took a lot of photos and videos, and we'd gladly ask Marcela to walk Beau again!
