About: Hello! I have experience with special needs and injured animals via fostering. They require a level of patience that I enjoy practicing. I love seeing them slowly improve in whatever it is that ails them. I also of course love all animals! My most recent foster was a blind kitten. I made sure he knew where everything was and to speak to him constantly. It was such a joy helping him learn how to jump down from the couch. Eventually he started jumping up on places he wasn’t even supposed to be! Now he plays as if he isn’t blind and it’s so beautiful to know that he will have a fulfilling life. I spend my days at home and love having furry friends visit. I am available mostly on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I go for walks as long as your dog needs to get happy and tired. I make sure to start off with some introductions. Whether it be lots of pets and scratches or a more gentle trust building approach. For cats I like to play with them or let them do their thing. Once they get comfortable I give them lots of pets! For dogs we hang out for a little. Then I like to take them on a walk and see the sites!

About: It started as just me on Rover, my sister Melissa has joined me and that's why we share a profile . I am a 33 year old pastry chef who is currently working full time but with a rather flexible schedule and certain nights available for overnight dog sitting. My sister Melissa works from home, she has her own online store on Etsy, k9felinePeru (check it out!) So she will be providing most of the services we offer for your pets since she is home mostly all day, everyday and she is also a dog lover like me. I lost my beautiful pitbull mix, Sedgwick and then Dollar both to cancer 8 years ago and 1 month ago, respectively. I used to cook for Sedg and Dollar, healthy and organic in addition to their daily vitamins and minerals. Furthermore, I have experience with dog medication/ sick dogs/ special needs since I went through it with my own dogs. Seg had to take pain killers, steroids and a series of other pills that helped prolong his life and us spend more time together. Dollar had food allergies in addition to environmental ones like pollen and the like so we were very careful with his diet and the cleaning products we use in our household. We just lost him to prostate cancer which he battled for 2 years. We are a sisters team providing the best service for you and your pets in the area. About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. Although I’ve never owned a dog myself, I have a deep respect and appreciation for them. I understand the dedication, planning, and responsibility that goes into making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As much as we wish we could bring our pets everywhere, sometimes the best choice is leaving them in a place where they feel at home. I am currently unemployed and I live with my parents (who also love dogs), so there’s almost always someone home. I was working at Central Park for these last few months, but now that the season is over I can dedicate myself to working my dream job… along with finding a career that goes with my degree. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.

About: Why Rover? My fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge at 17 years old, over a year ago. I miss my dog, but im happy that this platform gives me the opportunity to be around dogs again. About me: I work in fashion and love dogs. I wish could be surrounded by them everyday. I adore dogs of all ages, but senior dogs hold a special place in my heart. I’m experienced in caring for seniors, including administering daily medications. I understand it’s stressful leaving your fur baby with strangers, but I’m extremely communicative and responsible. I’d treat your baby like my own. Im open to connecting prior to confirming the booking, if it helps calm any nerves. I am home most days of the week. I'm in the office 2 days per week. Fortunately my office has a relaxed pet policy, and I'm able to bring in dogs to work. I live in an apartment and believe dogs should never be crated. They’re free to roam my home and are welcome to sleep on my bed at night.
About: Hi there! My name is Anya and I am a college student in NYC. All my life I have been surrounded by dogs and cats. Feeding and walking animals have been a part of my daily routine since I can remember. In my hometown, I frequently house sat and dealt with old, young and sick pets with care and feel comfortable doing so. Since moving to the city, I miss my dogs terribly, so I know this will be enjoyable work for me! I am an extremely Covid conscious person, triple vaccinated and continue to take precautions.I am available to house sit, do check-in’s and dog walks. “Ryozo is very nice. He took good care of my cat, Grumpy for a week while I was out of town. Grumpy is an indoor cat who's not used to people but I can tell he was comfortable with Ryozo the first time I introduced them. Ryozo gives me updates and sends me pictures of my cat every other day.
