About: Hi Everyone. I've been lucky enough to have pets including dogs throughout my life. In my early 20s I adopted two dogs Meisha and Chowda, who have since crossed the Rainbow Bridge. They taught me so much about how patience, training, love and care go such a long way in building a secure bond with your pet. I thought I'd honor my dogs by providing pet parents with a safe and secure place for their pets. I've dog and cat sat for friends and are also comfortable administering medication for either. I live by Irving Park in Bushwick which has a designated dog park, but if that's not your dog's jam I also have a fenced backyard they can enjoy solo. I am fully remote, so you can rest assured that I will be fully available during the stay. I can provide adequate potty breaks and playtime. You can rest assured that your pup's needs will be tended to. I'd love to welcome your pet into my home, drop in for visits at your place, or walks around the neighborhood. I'm also a runner, so if you're dog is into running and enjoying the sites let me know! I am fully remote. I can take your dog to the parks they are used to or help them discover new ones. I also have a backyard that my guests love to hang in. This starts with a conversation with you. I'd love to know how your pet feels most comfortable with regards to their environment whether that be level of noise, stimulation, interactions with other animals or people. Safety: Before starting any pet sitting, I do a thorough walkthrough of the space to identify any potential hazards and address them. This includes securing trash cans, checking for small objects that could be swallowed, and making sure all windows and doors are secure. I keep a list of emergency contacts, including the pet’s veterinarian and a nearby emergency animal clinic. Pets are always supervised during playtime and walks to ensure they’re safe and not engaging in any risky behavior. I stick to the pet’s established routine as closely as possible to provide a sense of stability and predictability. This includes regular feeding times, walks, and any other specific routines the pet is accustomed to. I keep pet owners updated with regular check-ins, including photos and brief reports about their pet’s well-being and activities. I create a cozy and welcoming environment for pets by ensuring they have a comfortable resting place and access to their favorite toys and belongings. If the pet is staying in my home, I provide a designated area that feels safe and familiar. Both my home and the client’s home (if doing a drop-in visit) are kept clean and tidy to ensure a healthy environment. I clean up after pets, including any accidents, and ensure that their living area is fresh and hygienic.

About: Rosie’s path to dog training began with a curiosity about animals that started early. As a teenager, she went to vet camp and attended a spay & neuter program which exposed her to animal health and hands-on veterinary care. Those early experiences sparked an interest not just in caring for animals, but in understanding how health, environment, and behavior intersect. That curiosity eventually led her into professional animal care and welfare. She spent several years working hands-on with dogs before joining Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), where she gained experience with animals across a wide range of temperaments, histories, and behavioral needs. Working in a high-volume shelter environment - particularly with anxious and behaviorally complex dogs.. Over time, behavior and training became the natural focus of her work. Rosie has continued to deepen her knowledge of relationship-based and balanced training, behavior modification, play-based training, socialization and neutrality, and breed-specific care. Training her own service dog has been one of her most formative experiences, giving her an up-close understanding of how relationship, consistency, technique, and clear communication come together to create reliable behavior in the real world. Rosie’s curiosity extends beyond traditional dog training. She is deeply interested in the foundations of whole-animal wellbeing including nutrition, husbandry, enrichment, physical health, genetics, and environment, and how each can influence behavior. Her experiences with both dogs and cats have reinforced her belief that behavior rarely exists in isolation. Today, Rosie brings that perspective to her work with dogs and their people. Rather than focusing solely on commands or correcting unwanted behaviors, she wants to understand the individual animal - their temperament, instincts, history, environment, needs, and relationship with their person - and use that understanding to create training that is thoughtful, practical, and built for everyday life. Rosie is currently engaging in ongoing clinics and applied training focused on canine behavior, training foundations, behavior modification, enrichment, and handler communication. I do pet care full time as I train dogs and cats! I have a full house of animals with two cats, two dogs and a reptile! We enjoy an active life with walks, play and adventure although have a nice balance with rest too:) Safety is my #1 priority. I firmly believe that a trained animal is a happy animal! Every animal that comes into my care has clear expectations so everyone can thrive to the best of their ability. If at daycare, I have the ability to crate and separate dogs and I have a clean, fenced in backyard that has a doggy pool for those warm summer days! For check ins and walks, i'm all about what is most comfortable for the pet. If your cat just needs someone to clean their litter box, thats what I'm there for! Wether its a potty break or full adventure, I'm here for it!

About: I’ve had a dog that my friend owns and he’s asked me to watch him a couple of times so fixture I could do the same for other peoples pets. I’m currently searching for part-time work so I’ll be easily available to care for any dogs or cats for no matter how long. I’m willing to learn any intricacies and any specialized care your pet needs to ensure it lives a long healthy life under my care.

I’m comfortable in almost any pet you might need care for, any age is fine. I have some experience feeding neonate kittens. The only pets I can’t offer care to are any fully aquatic critters or amphibians ( lack of experience ) For puppies I can offer desensitization to grooming Based in Queens and open to bookings throughout areas of Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. I’m currently a part-time in training vet assistant, I’m off Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I miss working pet Daycares but my current schedule can change so something flexible like this is a better fit I care for the pets as I do in my professions, I listen to all and any instructions and rules set by the pet parent(s) and use my understanding of pet behavior to ensure a safe environment or walk for the pet. If the pet has any allergies then I’ll ensure to avoid bringing/consuming/interacting with said allergen a day ahead of seeing the pet in question. If the pet is reactive on walks then I prepare myself with treats and toys and keep a safe distances from possible triggers. For walks, by default I don’t allow pets in my care to interact with other animals outside unless the pet parent is ok with allowing it. For home visits or house sitting I don’t mind hand playing with pets, however some pet parents prefer no roughhousing or only engaging in play with pet toys. I’m perfectly fine with either choice in husbandry. Should a bite incident occur I will notify you and continue to care for your pet as safely as the situation allows. While a bite is never a fun experience a level 1 - 3 bite incident won’t disrupt the current care appointment you had originally booked.

I have been caring for pets my entire life and have experience looking after, walking and administering medication for pets of all shapes and sizes. This includes senior pets. I have been dogsitting for friends and family for several years including long term, overnight stays. I’ve looked after everything from a tiny shih tzu to two Belgian Malinois-sized rescues at once. Since moving from Florida to start my graduate studies, my family has been caring for my two rescue cats Yoshi and Cori, whom I miss dearly. About: I have taken care of my 6 year old Tibetan Spaniel Chi Chi since she was just 6 months old. I am from Havana, Cuba, where there are dogs and cats everywhere! About: Ever since I was 5, I've always had animal in my life. My family got our first cat when I was 5 and she lived to be 22! I grew up being very involved in their care, even going to the vet with my parents. Since then I've lived with many different pets and watched many friends and family's when needed. While sitting I will have plenty of free time for walks, the park, playing, and hanging out. Any attention your pet may require. I'm accustomed to long stays and quickly getting to know pet's personalities. As of right now I have complete open availability so can be as present as needed. I currently have open availability and can always be around when you and your pet need it. Weekends, weekdays, and long stays are no issue at all. I'm located in Ridgewood and travel mostly by bicycle so I can get anywhere fast. I let pets approach me, especially when first meeting, to give them the space they need and to not appear confrontational. Staying consistent and being calm with meeting pets where they need to be met is well understood. Environments will be kept clean and behaviors will always be noticed and taken into consideration.
