About: I moved to New York for graduate school, which means I have moved away from my dog. I would love the opportunity to provide other dogs care as they will also make my heart warm! I am in class sporadically throughout the week so I have a lot of time to walk and take care of dogs. There are some days where I do not have class at all and would love to get out of the apartment and get some fresh air! I provide my dog with lots of love and attention and am very patient. I will always have my phone on me and am a very reliable communicator if a client needs to contact me with specific instructions or plan changes.

About: I've taken care of all types of pets since I was 8. Ranging from 3 month old puppies to 15 year old seniors. Family and friends have relied on me to walk and care for their pets. I am also currently in college pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. I'm currently in college and working part-time but I will have more than enough time to truly care for and walk your pups! I will put great amount of time and energy into each walk. I have 3 dogs which I have cared for, for many years and take on extensive walks 3-4 times a day. I know how to leash-train and can deal with pulling. Dogs tend to trust me quickly because I take time to let them know I’m here to care for them. I make sure my animals and those of others feel all my love.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of different sizes and temperaments, from my energetic Boston Terrier to my aunt’s strong and protective pit bull. I’m confident handling high-energy dogs and understand how important calm leadership is during walks and in new environments. I’ve had experiences where staying patient and composed helped a dog feel safe and secure again. I believe dogs respond best to steady energy, consistency, and kindness. I always prioritize safety, communication, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for. I work full-time, but my shifts typically begin mid-day, which allows me consistent availability for morning walks throughout the week. I’m fully available on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and I’m happy to accommodate regular weekly schedules. I value punctuality and reliability, and I’ll always communicate clearly to ensure your dog’s routine stays consistent and stress free! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and respecting your space. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, leash preferences, and any behavioral notes. During walks, I stay alert to surroundings and make sure dogs are secure and comfortable at all times. I understand that trust is important when allowing someone into your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. Clear communication and updates are something I always provide.

I have experience watching over small to large (German Shepherd) size dogs. If you do not want your dog given way too much love then I am not the right sitter for you lol. There is a park near my home that I can take them to get some fresh air. Anything else you may need to know please feel free to ask me. I am currently working from home so my schedule is very flexible. I can give your pup as much attention as they need. ♥️ ♥️ Whatever instructions you provide to me I will be sure to follow. About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for 9+ years, caring for my French Bulldog through every stage of her life—from playful puppy to senior years—which taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to adapt to a dog’s changing needs. I now have a Cavapoo and love going through all the puppy milestones again, including basic training, routines, and socialization. I’m especially attentive to each dog’s personality, whether that means keeping up with an energetic pup or providing gentle, patient care for older dogs. I genuinely treat every dog like my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I currently have a flexible schedule and am not working a traditional job, which allows me to dedicate focused time and attention to pet care. I’m starting with weekend availability so I can provide consistent, reliable care and ensure each pet gets my full attention. As I get established, I’m open to expanding my availability. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and can easily plan my week around their needs When caring for pets in their home, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. I always do a quick check to make sure there are no hazards or anything unsafe within reach, and I follow the owner’s instructions closely to keep their routine consistent. I give pets time to warm up to me at their own pace, using a calm and patient approach to build trust. Once they’re comfortable, I make sure they get plenty of attention, play, and care based on their energy level and personality. I also provide regular updates with photos and messages so owners feel reassured and connected while they’re away

About: My family has had dogs for the past 8 years. I also have 3 years of dog-sitting experience with a variety of dogs, including some with special needs. I'm very comfortable adapting to each dog's personality and routine. I'm new to the city and work remotely, so I have a flexible schedule and spend most of my day at home. I'd love to explore the city with your dog, whether that's neighborhood walks, park visits, or just keeping them company while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions closely regarding feeding, walks, medications, house rules, and favorite activities. I know that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, so I focus on providing plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while respecting their normal routine.

About: Hi ! My name is Jasmin. I am a loving, kind and practical person. Safety and health is very important to me. I will take care of your fur baby with the same love and respect as they deserve. I adore all kinds of animals, they are the listeners of the world. I offer puppy play time, help with medication, overnight dog stay, treat training, belly rubs, fun walks to dog parks and much more ! I am a very calm person with a ton of patience. I would say I give animals the love and nurturing they need. I care for animals more broader than cats and dogs as well. I also have a ton of toys and fun treats I love to share amongst your fur baby. I am always available when needed, just give me a quick call or message ! I have an open schedule which allows me to have more availability for taking care of fur baby’s. My schedule does not conflict with this. Depending on the specifics of each animal. I will care for all fur baby’s on their parents preferences. The basics of care will include healthy physical activity, treats, hugs and cuddles, mini training session of : sit, talk, roll over etc. Safety is very important for your fur baby and myself. I approach every new client slowly, with a treat and being able to learn the specifics of your fur baby.

About: I have taken care of pets from friends and family since I was 10 years old. Overtime, I have developed an ability to make dogs and cats feel at home and welcomed through proper time and attention, the key for anyone and any animal to feel loved. Changing wet pads, showering and bathing pets, running and playing with dogs, and cuddling with animals are second nature to me and I have years of experience doing each. Currently, I am working full time 9am-5pm during the weekdays. Outside of those hours, having the pet come with me on outdoor activities when weather allows and staying inside to lounge around are common. I usually see it as an excuse to keep active during my sedentary office lifestyle. Time in = trust out. Building trust and making your pet feel safe and sound is one of my main priorities. In order for that bond to exist, consistent attention and care is needed. From proper feeding, regular walking, and rigorous playing, pets in my care will return back to you in good spirits.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Jamaica stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Jamaica choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Jamaica with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jamaica. On Rover:

  • 87% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
