They both gave Yogi lots of love an attention, and shared a ton of updates with us daily. “Olivia has provided both daytime care (walks, feeding, litter box cleaning, etc.) and long-term vacation care for my rambunctious family of a Shepherd mix dog and two cats. She goes above and beyond, and I know it’s not an exaggeration to say my pets are probably in better hands with her than with me! Olivia is incredibly compassionate and conscientious towards animals (even my occasionally very annoying ones!) and I can’t recommend her caregiving services enough. Olivia is excellent about providing detailed updates and photos of pets under her care, which is especially appreciated when I’m away on longer vacations. They’re not routine or halfhearted updates, either. Olivia will send me photos of my pets clearly engaged in in-depth play or interaction, and through my pets’ body language I can tell that they’ve been engaged and entertained to a level I aim for. My dog can be finicky about walks and doesn’t always make when led out by strangers (and sometimes even myself) which can lead to understandable accidents at home. That apprehension is almost nonexistent when Olivia is taking care of her, and Olivia is always excellent at informing me of her walk status. One detail that may seem small but dwarfs a lot of other things for me is how much care Olivia puts into my pets’ feeding routine. They’re fed twice a day and usually finish their respective meals, but it’s not uncommon for the dog or one of the cats to go through phases where they’re uninterested in mealtime. If left to their own devices at those moments, the picky party will have their food eaten and go hungry for at least half the day. I try to mediate mealtimes so this doesn’t happen, but it’s hard to expect that level of attention from most pet-sitters. Of course, Olivia isn’t most pet-sitters, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt a surge of gratitude when she has texted me to say she had to stay a little later because one of the animals got picky with their meal and had to be given privacy and encouragement to finish all their food before she left. Olivia herself has cared for a wide range of animals, from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles and even more exotic species. She lights up when she talks about animals. There’s not a lot of people around that can match the compassion and skill she has for animal care. Combined with her innate responsibility and ability to communicate, these qualities all make Olivia the very best caregiver I know of.”

“It takes a lot for me to trust someone with my dogs, but I’m happy to say I found someone I can rely on. Max was awesome and my dogs immediately loved him. He was very responsive and timely. One of my dogs needed medicine and Max followed all the care instructions to ensure he gets his proper medicine. Will definitely use him in the future. And appreciate Max for putting my mind at ease while I was away. 10/10 recommend!”
