I’m a cat mom and enthusiastic animal lover who loves to make new furry friends! Although I'm newer to Rover, I'm not new to pet care. From the age of eight, I’ve gotten first-hand experience with caring for, playing with, walking, feeding, potty-training, and administering medication to pets, particularly small to medium-sized dogs of various breeds. My family’s household has never been without a pet. I have my own pet, my tuxedo gatita whom I shower with love. In my home state of GA, my parents have two toy poodles, one of whom I helped raise from puppyhood and both of whom I miss every day. I have a strong background in caring for dogs. In my current day-to-day, I've had more immediate experience with cat care. As every pet owner knows, companion animals are remarkably like us in their ability to feel joy, happiness, and love. I do everything I can to imbue those feelings in the animals under my care. I love to stay active by spending time outside and going on walks myself, and I would love to take your furry companion with me. Also a homebody at heart, I would be more than happy to travel to your home and snuggle up to your little one while you’re away. I am so excited to meet them!

I’ll follow your instructions to a T while watching your babies in your home while also giving them plenty of love, care, and hangout time. When meeting a new dog for walking, I like to use a 2-clip leash with a backup point of contact until we establish rapport. Whether your furbaby is a boundless extrovert or a shy wallflower, I'll meet them where they are and give them their space and time to warm up to me. Either way, I stay attentive and observant of their needs to ensure they're healthy and content. Alongside pet-related tidying, I also take care to leave things as I found them when coming into your home. Unless you indicate you prefer otherwise, I typically send 10-15 photos for each visit so you can get as complete a picture as possible as to how your pet is doing under my care.

Madeline has been absolutely wonderful with Sebastian over the past three weeks. She is reliable, attentive, and incredibly caring, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in excellent hands. She kept me updated, followed his routine, and treated him as if he were her own. Sebastian clearly adores her, which says everything! I could not recommend Madeline more highly to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

Wonderful with our cats!
Madeline was amazing with our cat Ringo while we were away for 5 days. She was super communicative, and I could tell Ringo warmed up to her right away! Definitely would ask her to watch him again in the future!
Madeline was such a great cat sitter! She watched my two cats for 5 days. She was a great communicator, sending me updates and pictures with every visit. I came back to two happy cats with clean litter boxes! Will definitely hire her again.

Schedule
I am a part-time student, and I am in class from 9a-4p on Tuesdays and from 3p-8p on Wednesdays. All other days are wide open! Let's work out a schedule that will work best for you and your pet!

- It would be a huge help if you can let me know how your furbaby typically is when meeting new people - I'm more than ready to meet them halfway. Any reactivity or anxiety triggers, special instructions or special needs, I will heed. Otherwise, anything and everything you can tell me about your little one - no detail is too small.
