Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”

About: I have had pets since you were little so I have always had this initiative to be able to take care of them, love them and understand them. About: Hi! My name is Sara and I love dogs. My two rescues and I live in a four family house in Glendale with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to play. Sadie and Philly love to have pals over and love making new friends. Dog handling is in my blood. My grandmother was a breeder and trainer for Guide Dogs of America. Because of her, I have experience with pregnant mothers and newborns. My knack for leash and obedience training came from her as well. I used to manage a dog daycare in Brooklyn and run my own dog walking business back in the day. Now I work from home and have all the time in the world to hang out with dogs! Growing up, my parents had a malamute, a Dalmatian, a lab/setter mix, and a lab/pittie mix. I raised these dogs with my father and learned to care for animals starting from a very young age. My father was a professional dog trainer in Southern California and worked specifically with rescues from kill shelters and aggressive dogs. He taught me everything he knew about training them. Though my first encounters with dogs had been bigger breeds, I found a warm spot in my heart for small breeds I met when I moved to the city. I love all dogs. Our house is perfect for your pet because it is on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood with its own private backyard. There aren't too many rules here. There are five steps leading up to the house and five steps to the backyard. If your dog is older or has joint issues, this may be worth a consideration. I am experienced and capable to help dogs up and down stairs, but it may not be the best fit if it would stress your pup out. In a perfect world, we could make the arrangements for our dogs to meet at a dog park nearby before the boarding dates, but I realize that everyone has busy schedules and that may not always be possible. At the very least, I would like to meet you and your dog beforehand. I offer a pickup and drop-off service for an additional fee and introduce my dogs to new dogs on neutral territory with a long walk. I have been doing this professionally since 2015. The amenities in my space, my extensive experience, and the wonderful time your pup will have with us are what make staying with us extra special. It truly is your pup's second home. Hope you choose to board with us! I have pets so it is built into my routine and since I work from home, we can keep a regular schedule. I feed them twice a day and walk them twice a day and let them out for breaks in the yard throughout the day. I have a fenced yard with dog friendly plants that dogs can hang out in. Sadie and Phil are always able to make a pup feel comfortable away from home.

About: I've always been an animal lover. At 12, I started watching my neighbors' cats and walking a golden retriever. When I was 14, my family got a (slightly troublesome) Portuguese water dog, and I now have an energetic cat named Linus at home, both of which formed me into a very careful pet owner. I have a six month old pug puppy who is very energetic and just got a neuter surgery, and she was able to accommodate his needs and care for him. She sent photos while I was away, mainly of him napping so I know he was tired out. She provided feedback on his pulling behaviors on walks and suggested different types of harnesses. “Eric took great care of our rescue dog, Yoshi, for the weekend. Yoshi is a rescue with severe separation anxiety and a fear of strangers. Eric has a relaxed and confident demeanor that worked well with our dog, and also sent us lots of pictures and informative updates (what they were doing, how Yoshi's health was regarding a recent upset stomach he was recovering from). He's also a walker so I wasn't worried about Yoshi getting enough exercise. We look forward to booking Eric again!”
