My pup, Stella, passed away last fall, so I miss having a dog around and although I’m not ready for another dog of my own quite yet — I’d love to help take care of yours! While Stella was still around, I dog sat through Rover when I lived in DC and really enjoyed getting to spend time with other pups. I took a break from dog sitting after moving to NYC so that I could spend time fostering dogs (my 14th foster was just adopted!) and am ready to get back into dog sitting now! I’ve got experience with all kinds of dogs, all ages — from indoor-only puppies through to seniors. We live right across from the park (also has a fenced dog park) and love to take walks every day, as well as morning and evening potty walks. If your dog needs more or less activity than that, I’m happy to adjust to their needs and routine. I work from home, so I generally am at home for the entire day, and am available for potty breaks and playtime! I have a spare crate, dog bed & bowls, and toys on hand — of course, you’re also more than welcome to bring any of your pup’s things to make them feel comfortable. I work from home, so typically am in the apartment with the dog(s) the entire day and can take breaks in between meetings to take them outside as much/little as needed. I grew up with dogs and cats, and had my own dog Stella for almost 12 years — so have many years of experience caring for animals. I also regularly foster dogs through an NYC rescue. I love being around animals, and know how stressful it can be to leave my own dog with someone new, so I will do everything I can to make their stay as comfortable as possible - for both of you!

About: I've had dogs my entire life. I currently have an 11 month-old puppy that loves having other dogs around. They will be playing all day. I work fully remote and have a private, fenced-in backyard. I can cater to your dogs’ needs 24/7. I work fully remotely, so pets boarding or in day care with me have company throughout the day rather than an empty house. My day is structured around regular potty breaks, three long walks, and backyard play time, with quieter rest periods while I'm on calls. I keep my calendar updated so you can book with confidence. If I'm doing drop-ins, I'd love to just grab your dog and have them hang at mine if they are comfortable in my home. In my home, dogs stay in a spacious 2 floor space with a fully fenced private backyard, so outdoor time is always secure. My 11-month-old Bernedoodle, Louie, is friendly and social, and I introduce dogs slowly and supervise all play until I know they're comfortable together. I keep each dog's food, routine, and medications exactly as you provide them, and I send photo updates during every stay. For walks and drop-ins at your home, I follow your instructions closely, use your preferred leash and gear, and always lock up and confirm when I leave.
