It's also helpful to know their comfort level with other dogs and people, any triggers to be aware of on walks (such as bikes or loud noises), and whether they tend to need some adjustment time in a new environment. Sleeping preferences are good to know too, as dogs are welcome on furniture but I'm happy to accommodate a different routine if preferred. Any favorite toys, activities, or local walking routes are a bonus.
