About: *PLEASE NOTE: I require a meet & greet for all new boarding and house-sitting clients.* Hi! I grew up with dogs and had one of my own ever since graduating college. My pup, Stella, passed away last fall, so I miss having a dog around and although I’m not ready for another dog of my own quite yet — I’d love to help take care of yours! While Stella was still around, I dog sat through Rover when I lived in DC and really enjoyed getting to spend time with other pups. I took a break from dog sitting after moving to NYC so that I could spend time fostering dogs (my 14th foster was just adopted!) and am ready to get back into dog sitting now! I’ve got experience with all kinds of dogs, all ages — from indoor-only puppies through to seniors. We live right across from the park (also has a fenced dog park) and love to take walks every day, as well as morning and evening potty walks. If your dog needs more or less activity than that, I’m happy to adjust to their needs and routine. I work from home, so I generally am at home for the entire day, and am available for potty breaks and playtime! I have a spare crate, dog bed & bowls, and toys on hand — of course, you’re also more than welcome to bring any of your pup’s things to make them feel comfortable. I work from home, so typically am in the apartment with the dog(s) the entire day and can take breaks in between meetings to take them outside as much/little as needed. I grew up with dogs and cats, and had my own dog Stella for almost 12 years — so have many years of experience caring for animals. I also regularly foster dogs through an NYC rescue. I love being around animals, and know how stressful it can be to leave my own dog with someone new, so I will do everything I can to make their stay as comfortable as possible - for both of you!
About: I really think I have quite a bit of experience with pets. As I was growing up, I had several at the same time and I took care of them all at once and with a lot of love. I had a rabbit, two cats, and a dog. I'm currently available every day, and regarding the schedule, I think we can discuss that between ourselves and decide. I live in a decent apartment, not too big but cozy, and my biggest advantage is that I live across from a park and close to a pet shop.

Sabrina watched Tom for three straight days and was amazing! She took Tom with her everywhere and he had a lot of controlled park time and play with Apollo. Rosette took such good care of my dog! My dog is on the more anxious side and is slow to warm up to people but she absolutely loves Rosette. She lives in a great area for dogs with plenty of access to nature and space which was comforting to know. Highly recommend!
Wei was responsive, caring and attentive to Roux (1 year old Pomeranian boy, 5lbs) and our messages as well.
