🐾 About Me I am a lifelong pet lover with over 20 years of experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I’ve always had a passion for pets and truly believe they’re an important part of the family. I strive to provide the same level of care, comfort, and attention that I would want for my own pets. Whether you’re looking for a dog walker, pet sitter, or overnight care, I’m here to help! I’m experienced administering medication (both oral and injectable) and managing special dietary needs. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority. I live alone in a one-bedroom, pet-friendly apartment and work remotely, which allows me to offer plenty of supervision and flexibility, including accommodating last-minute requests whenever possible. For overnight stays, your pet will enjoy a safe, cozy environment with lots of attention, outdoor time, and affection. I can accommodate both short and long walk—my apartment is near the east river off Vernon Blvd very close to Socrates Park directly across from Château le Woof. Easy access to Astoria Park and the ferry. 🐶 Rates & Care Policy Please note that my listed service rates are base rates. Final pricing may be adjusted based on your pet’s specific needs, including size, constant-care requirements, medication administration, or if your pet needs to be the only animal in my care during their stay. Last-minute requests within 48 hours of drop-off may include a $10/night flexibility fee.

Ashley took great care of my cat while I was away over the weekend. She was kind enough to stop by beforehand to check in and plan for the visit, which was very helpful. I can tell that she understands cats very well and was fine letting my cat hide until she was comfortable enough to come out and socialize. I was able to relax during my weekend away knowing that my cat would be in good hands. Really appreciated the clear communication. Highly recommend.

Ashley did a great job boarding our kitten and was very accommodating with our last minute ask. While she had another pet at the time, she was careful in keeping them separate and that we were comfortable with the situation.
Ashley was so great! Our pup is 6 months old and still learning manners, but Ashley handled him so well. He was comfortable and happy and sad to say goodbye to her when we picked him up. We will definitely be rebooking!

🕒 My Schedule (Dog Boarding / Sitting) Caring for your pets is a key part of my everyday life, and my schedule is built around making sure your beloved fur baby receives plenty of attention, walks, and affection throughout the day. I work remotely and am home for most of the day, allowing for regular potty breaks and attention. My goal is to make sure your friends pup and/or kitty feels comfortable, loved, and well cared for from morning to night.

🏡 When Pets Stay With Me When pets stay in my home, my priority is making sure they are comfortable, safe, and happy. Here’s what you can expect: Pet-Friendly Space: My apartment is set up to be welcoming and relaxing for pets, with designated areas for play, rest, and sleep. Safety First: I maintain a clean, hazard-free home to ensure a secure environment. If boarding multiple pets, I take extra precautions to feed them separately, provide their own designated areas (I always recommend bringing your pet’s bed or favorite toys), and keep safely separated whenever I’m not home. Clean Environment: I keep all living areas tidy and handle any pet messes promptly. Food and water dishes are refreshed throughout the day, and my apartment is climate controlled with central air for comfort year-round. Affection & Care: I spend quality time engaging with pets through play, walks, and cuddles—making sure they feel loved, secure, and right at home. Health Monitoring: I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and well-being, notifying owners right away of any changes or concerns. Regular Updates: I send an update after your pet is settled and photos throughout the stay. ***Please note: I operate on a no news is good news approach and typically send photo dumps after a few days. If daily updates are something you require then that must be discussed at our meet and greet and prior to booking.

🐕 A Typical Day A typical day includes walks around my neighborhood and visits to nearby parks. Morning: I start my day early to accommodate morning walks and feeding routines, ensuring your dog gets a good walk, fresh air, and playtime before work. Afternoon: I check in for water refills, lunchtime feedings (if needed), and a short potty break. Evening: Dinner time and another round of walks or outdoor play to wind down. Night: For overnight pets, I do a final check to make sure everyone is comfortable and settled for the bedtime, with one last potty break before we settle in for the night.
