Every day of the trip, Chase sent photos and updates, and you could see Gabe getting happier as the week went on. At one point Chase had a chance to also watch another animal, but he turned it down on his own once he saw Gabe was uncomfortable, didn’t even need me to ask. Mochi has diabetes and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours in addition to another medication twice a week and Eleni was happy to learn and able to give Mochi his meds which can be a bit daunting and sometimes difficult depending on his mood. but Eleni was attentive and really took the time to learn and care for him properly! my other cat Kumo is a scaredy baby and rarely shows his face around people but Eleni was patient and really put effort into getting him comfortable with her. Eleni updated me with great details about how they’re doing and food. the weather was changing every day from being very cold and then very hot and Eleni proactively adjusted the thermostat accordingly when needed! she would turn on cat TV every couple days AND put treats in their treat games daily so they would stay occupied during the day. Mochi had an accident and Eleni didn't hesitate to clean it up and take out the trash. she really took care of everything!”

About: I have had pets since you were little so I have always had this initiative to be able to take care of them, love them and understand them. However, I worked as a groomer in a small store so I have been able to acquire more knowledge about their care and how important it is to keep them healthy, clean and healthy. About: I'm an animal welfare professional actively building toward a career in animal behavior and training, grounded in real-world shelter experience and a deep commitment to whole-animal care. My shelter background has given me hands-on experience with high-volume intake, humane handling of anxious and behaviorally complex animals, and close collaboration with medical, admissions, and volunteer teams. About: I've been a dog lover as long as I can remember! When I was younger and we weren't able to house a dog yet, I would walk neighbor's dogs and dogsit whenever anyone needed. Our first dog was a puppy when we got her, and I lent a helping hand in her care. My personal favorite thing to do was to teach her tricks. After she sadly passed away, my family and I made the decision to take in rescue dogs.
