I will do my best to minimize disruptions to your pet's schedule and make sure they still recieve the love and attention they need. Walk, meal, and treat times will be met on schedule. I will play with your pets with any toys provided, along with giving ear scritches, belly rubs, or any other attention or space your pet prefers. Let me know of any training your pet might be learning so that I can use proper commands to avoid confusion in your pet. Available for both short and long walks. For longer stays, I also have experience in caring for both indoor and outdoor plants.

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, giving treats for good behavior, and showering them with pets, love, and attention. While I also enjoy petting and playing with cats, I respect the fact that not every cat wants me in their space and will do my best to stay out of their bubble if that is the case. While your pet will still have my full attention while playing, I will do my best to also get some pictures of happy pets to send your way.

Pet care experience
I grew up around dogs, all of which were mixed medium to large breeds adopted from local shelters. As a teenager, I would walk, bathe, and watch dogs from as small as a chihuahua to as large as a great dane. As an adult, I expanded to watching pets in their own home as well. Have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages, including puppies and senior dogs. I also have experience watching cats as well, and am quick to learn when they want attention and when they prefer to be given their space.

Alex is a fantastic dog walker! He came promptly at the same time each day and gave my pup a nice long walk within the half hour. He paid great attention to my dog’s needs and took some very cute pics along the way! Highly recommend!
Alexander stepped up while I was dealing with an unexpected family emergency. Knowing Kermit was in kind capable hands was a huge relief in a chaotic time and one less thing to worry about. Alexander kept me updated, sent wonderful photos and I didn’t once have to worry or wonder if Kermit was happy and healthy. Alex even was able to accommodate a lengthened booking. I can’t express enough how wonderful Alexander is with my little guy and how communicative and accommodating he has been with me. I can’t thank you enough Alex!
