About: I've taken care of cats and dogs for over a decade. From young pets who need more exercise to senior pets who require medial attention. I work from home so my schedule is open for the most part. There are also many trusted vets in my area and dog runs. I live in an apartment. No children or other people to interfere with pet sitting. About: Hi there! My name is Jason, and I'd love to take care of your dog! I grew up on Long Island with both cats and dogs, and over the years I've volunteered with several shelters and I've fostered more pups than I can count. I presently live in Crown Heights, but I’m able to travel all over Brooklyn for dog care duties (I have a bike + car). Typically during the days I work as a high school co-teacher, but I’m currently off for the summer. I’m also a graduate student actively taking classes, but I have plenty of time to walk and/or hang out with your pup during both the day and at night. I also have a knack for training, so I'd be happy to follow whatever regiment you have in place or work with them on something new. I’m very active and I love being outside whenever I can, so your dog would have lots of opportunities to see sights and smell smells, but I'm also quite skilled at hanging home and scratching bellies if your dog is more of a loafer. I can also adapt to more specific needs. I try to follow any provided instructions and guidelines as much as possible, and I like to think I treat other people's pets as if they're my own. I'm also extremely cautious and detail oriented, so i'm always thinking ahead with regard to a dog's health and safety.

About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. Although I’ve never owned a dog myself, I have a deep respect and appreciation for them. I understand the dedication, planning, and responsibility that goes into making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As much as we wish we could bring our pets everywhere, sometimes the best choice is leaving them in a place where they feel at home. That’s the experience I aim to provide: reliable and thoughtful care that supports your pet’s comfort without requiring you to sacrifice your plans. I am currently unemployed and I live with my parents (who also love dogs), so there’s almost always someone home. I was working at Central Park for these last few months, but now that the season is over I can dedicate myself to working my dream job… along with finding a career that goes with my degree. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.
