“Steven and Jennifer had great communication they were responsive and attentive to any questions or advice I may have given them. They were efficient and timely. I would absolutely trust them with my Simba again”

About: I have been petsitting since I was a kid, for neighbors, friends, and family. I have experience with a range of house hold pets, but mostly with dogs and cats. I grew up with pets and currently have one spoiled cat. I help support my family's 7 cats and 6 dogs when I am able to and asked to. I make sure your fur baby is as cared for as my own, and I offer consistent updates about your pet's care and well-being since I understand the stress of being gone from your loved one! I work on many creative pursuits from home while volunteering my time outside the house. I have a flexible schedule to accommodate complex pet care throughout the day. So I am looking to offer pet care in my free time for my communities! I prioritize Morticia's health and well being every day. She gets 3 measured meals of wet food a day, her litter box gets cleaned out daily, she gets her teeth brushed, her fur brushed, and lots of play time and snuggles. You can rest assured that I would treat any critter with the same love, affection, and attention that I do for Morticia. I have enough experience with dogs and cats to understand their body language, and do my best to avoid upsetting them. I am told I would be great with horses because of my calming presence and words with animals.
“Chuck is my dog’s absolute favorite walker in the city. She is always so excited to see him that she starts jumping up and down. He is very reliable, great communication, follows directions, flexible with scheduling, always on time. Highly recommend!”

“I can't thank Shanna enough for the incredible job she did walking my dog while I was out of the country. She was reliable, friendly, and clearly has a great rapport with dogs. My dog was happy and well-cared for, and Shanna provided regular updates, which gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker!”

“Linnea is absolutely amazing!! She was so loving and patient with my 9 year old chihuahua who gets a bit grumpy when going out for walks in subzero temperatures (it just so happened that the week we planned our trip for was when “historic storm fern” descended upon the city lol). Needless to say we were so relieved to have booked with Linnea— having her support and regular updates gave us the peace of mind that actually allowed us to enjoy our trip, and knowing our pup was well taken care of was invaluable. Highly recommend Linnea for anyone who wants reliable, kind and empathetic care their pet!”

About: 10+ years of dog handling experience from puppies and small dogs to larger dogs nothing can phase me. I am a calm and assertive person with lots of love and kisses to give to your furbabies! I have walked/cared for dogs from several companies with consistent 5 star reviews now that i have children i have slowed down. I am also cat and dog first aid/cpr certified by the redcross. I am very knowledgeable and hope to welcome you and your pup to the Ruff House . I am a stay at home mom so i am home all day everyday i find so much joy in caring for my family and dogs I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! I also have a crate for just in case. Dogs are usually free roaming i do not crate any dogs at all unless it is requested.
“Toni is extremely reliable, communicative and has a calm spirit. Over the last month or so Toni has been walking my pup and their gowing bond becomes more apparent in the check-in photos Toni sends me each day. Dante, my dog, has become more happy since he started his daily walks with Toni.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was small, being raised around Labrador Retrievers. I am skilled in taking care of dogs with different needs and am always down to play. I have a good command over your animal and will never be cruel. I am currently self employed so I have lots of time to take your furry friends on a walk or two! I am happier when I am playing with animals. I have a large apartment space and live nearby a park where I can let your pets roam free. All trash cans are closed and will be handled to make sure the dog doesn’t get into anything nefarious.
About: I have taken care of newborn cats and dogs up until they have crossed the rainbow bridge at 21 years old. I consider myself Snow White - all pets love me as I do them. 😁 I currently work from home and I am able to step away from the computer for multiple potty breaks as needed. I enjoy walking with them! We will also have an enjoyable playtime!! I can adhere to any rules you have set in place whether it’s crate training or a potty schedule - it will all work for me. I can also administer meds if needed.
About: I have 20+ years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from bouncy puppies to sweet seniors who like things done just so. I’ve worked in home settings, salons, and veterinary environments, so I’m comfortable with everything from daily walks and playtime to medications, special diets, and senior support. I’m especially good with anxious, shy, or high-energy dogs, and I believe great care means reading body language, respecting routines, and delivering plenty of love (and belly rubs). Your dog will be safe, happy, and probably a little spoiled while you’re away. My schedule is flexible and reliable, which means I’m able to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I plan my days around care routines—not rushing visits—so dogs get proper walks, playtime, and calm companionship, and cats get patience, consistency, and respect for their space. I communicate clearly about availability, stick to agreed-upon times, and make sure you always know when I’ve arrived and how your pet is doing. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, whether they’re in my home or their own. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping things familiar and low-stress. This includes meals on schedule, walks or playtime as usual, medications if needed, and plenty of attention at their comfort level. I’m very mindful of body language and energy, especially for anxious or senior pets, and I always move at their pace. Cleanliness, safety, and communication are a priority, so you’ll receive regular updates and photos while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel secure, cared for, and relaxed, not disrupted.
“Lenford has such a sweet way about him. My dog is very anxious, but Lenford handled him with such calming energy that was a relief to both my pup and me. We will definitely continue to use his services!”

Keis took wonderful care of my dog while I was away. She was reliable, kind, and kept me updated throughout the stay, which gave me peace of mind. My dog was happy and well cared for when I returned. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker or pet sitter!

Kate is absolutely incredible and truly treats our animals as if they are her own! I have a high-maintenance dog but her attention to detail is unmatched. She followed all my notes perfectly, asked the right questions. She is also so proactive. She even switched up their walking route on the fly when there was a disturbance on the block. Her photo updates and notes after every visit are fantastic. Even though it's a daily routine, she writes every summary with so much care, like it's the first time she's updating us. She also does an amazing job with my partner's cat. Kate is officially our go-to for all our pup and cat needs and we'll definitely be booking her from now on!

Rebecca is the *only* person I trust with my baby, Espresso! She plays with him, makes sure his medication is taken daily and takes him on wonderful adventures on their walks! He is always so excited to board with Rebecca! I always feel at ease dropping him off and knowing that he is in the best hands! Highly would recommend Rebecca for all your pup sitting/walking needs! 🥰

Here's a polished and warm Rover review: Kameron has been walking and caring for my Boston Terrier, Noah, for the past two years, and she has been absolutely wonderful. From day one, she has treated Noah as if he were her own, providing him with exceptional care, attention, and affection. One of my favorite things about working with Kameron is the thoughtful photo updates she sends every day. I always looked forward to checking them during my lunch break and seeing Noah happy, comfortable, and having fun. Kameron has also been incredibly reliable and supportive during unexpected situations. In emergencies, she was always communicative, responsive, and willing to help, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. Whenever she stayed in my home, she left everything spotless and exactly as she found it. Her professionalism, trustworthiness, and genuine love for animals have made her an invaluable part of Noah's life. I cannot thank Kameron enough for the wonderful care she has provided over the last two years. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring dog walker or house sitter. Your pets will be in excellent hands!

Easiest 5-star review I’ve ever made! Deserving of 10+ stars. Christian was amazing with my dog Shiloh! He was always here on time for her walks, very communicative throughout the whole process, and was very professional. I can tell he genuinely loves animals and wants to provide the best care for someone’s pet. For someone who has an anxious dog like myself, it’s hard to not worry a bit when you’re out of town - but with Christian I quickly realized I was in good hands. I would completely trust him taking care of my dog anytime. I Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to find someone they can trust with their pet. I will definitely be requesting Christian again for the next time I need to go out of town!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
