Raised w 4 dogs and can't live w/o
I grew up with 4 dogs who were the best siblings I could ask for. I always helped with feeding, bathing, walking, and keeping them entertained, including caring for our anxious dog who needed more attention. I was always the happiest when my parents allowed them to sleep with me. I moved to the US for college, and had to leave them with my parents in Brazil. They were definitely one of the hardest parts to leave behind and I miss them so so much. This is the first time I don't live with a dog, and I miss being around them, so I thought working with Rover was a great idea for me! I've never had a cat, but family and friends around me have, so I would take care of them often.

Julia was able to walk our dog twice over the weekend upon last minute notice. We just had a baby and needed our Maple walked, and Julia was so helpful in getting her exercised. She was mindful of the heat and our dog’s short snout and made sure to give her water and breaks in this summer weather. We’re so thankful.
Julia was awesome!! Great communication, and my dog came home happy and tuckered out. Would definitely recommend Julia!! ☺️
Julia was great. We had a quick meet and greet to go over Cosmo's usual routine prior to the sitting and she was super flexible with timing which was a huge help as we had to make a slight adjustment. Cosmo seemed to enjoy his time with her and we would certainly have her watch the little guy again.
Julia was amazing! She agreed to watch our pup for a long holiday weekend with very little notice. She went out of her way to make sure he had a great time, especially in the midst of a heatwave when she took it upon herself to take our pup swimming (checking in beforehand to make sure it was alright with us). She really went above and beyond. She's great at communicating and our pup loved her! Will def rebook.
We had a pretty last minute booking for a fairly extended stay but Julia was very amenable and provided quick turnaround. She has a roommate who shared care duties. Rocky seemed to like both of them a lot. Because it was a long stay some of it was in her home and some in my home.
I had such a wonderful experience with Julia! From the very beginning, she was very professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. It gave me such peace of mind knowing my pup was in such loving and capable hands on such short notice. Julia kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which I truly appreciated. My dog looked so happy, relaxed and well cared for the entire time. It was so clear that Julia treated her like apart of her own family. I would absolutely book Julia again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter. Thank you for taking such amazing care of my girl:)

Schedule
I'm a full time student, however I always have breaks in between my classes. During these, I can make visits to pets and walk them, and I'm usually free all day on weekends.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I plan to follow the policies of each individual client in their homes. I want to learn each pet's favorite places around the house and where they feel more comfortable, where they like to play, etc.
A typical day
I will take them on walks around parks and find a dog park where I could let them loose a little, if the owner says that's okay. I will also play catch with the dogs that like that too.
