“Ashley is very professional. When we first met her, she took the time to meet our dog Cagney before starting to walk him, gaining his confidence and assessing his needs as well as ours. She is patient, kind and wonderful. She is punctual and communicates regularly with us if any changes need to be made. She is a big help to us since we can't always walk Cagney and he really looks forward to going for his walk with her. Five stars are not enough to describe how we feel about Ashley!”

“After booking with Mandel regularly for a few weeks I can say that he is reliable, responsible, and caring dog walker. With Mandel, you can be confident your pet's in good hands and will have a good time. My German Shepherd mix can be a strong puller on walks, and Mandel handles it without trouble. He also sends nice photo updates! It's great to see my dog happy and active while I'm at work!”

“Catalina always does an amazing job walking our pup and I couldn’t be more thankful to see the love and attention she gives him when he’s with her. And the cherry on top is her great photos always! Highly recommend!”

About: I have rescued and cared for animals my whole life. In addition, I’ve done pet sitting, walking and administering medication when needed. Reliable and loving. I am currently working part time but have enough flexibility to help out with your pets…even if you just want someone to keep them company, or check in on them. I will spend quality time with your pet..undivided attention, playtime, affection, walking, feeding and fulfilling needs required by pet/pet owner. Pet will not be confined and becomes a “part of the family”.
“Ocho loves Thoselin! She’s been very conscientious and reliable, and I trust her in my home and with my baby. Ocho can be anxious and hard to get outside, but she’s been flexible and, judging by the photos she sends, he has a great time with her!”

“I was walking my dogs and ran into Melanie on the street and they went WILD with excitement when they saw her. They adore Melanie, and I am so grateful for her professional and reliable pet care.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it’s walking dogs, feeding cats, or just providing some extra cuddles and companionship, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I understand how important it is to know your furry (or feathered!) family members are in safe, loving hands while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine—I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and prioritize their well-being throughout my week. I schedule pet visits and walks around my other responsibilities, ensuring I can give each pet the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it’s early morning feedings, midday walks, or evening playtime, I structure my day to provide consistent and loving care. “I ensure each pet receives attentive care by maintaining their routine, providing proper feeding, exercise, and companionship—whether in my home or the client’s. My focus is always on their comfort, safety, and well-being.”
About: I’ve had pets all my life. Currently have 4 cats and 3 reptiles. I also volunteer at PuppyKittyNYCity every Sunday morning. I respect and love all animals and am willing to learn more about their needs. I’m a freelance artist. I paint sets for tv and movies as my main form of income but often have slow downs in work. I currently have some free time. My schedule is always changing so please check my calendar for my availability. I would give your pet all the love and attention they deserve in the comfort of their own home. I’m available for dog walking and day shifts. I also love cats and have a lot of experience caring for cats at home and at the animal rescue.
About: I’ve always loved animals, I get much joy from spending time with them. At home I have a Pitbull mix named Dora who I adopted from the ACC shelter. Dora was a stray, she is a sweet dog with an anxious personality, so I have experience working with anxiety and reactivity. As a child I took care of multiple cats, they were indoor/outdoor cats. I also have experience taking care of rats as pets. I’m very gentle and attuned to the feelings of pets, and respectful of their own agency. I’m currently working part time, usually on Thursdays and Sundays, so my schedule is very open. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends. I will start being a student soon but I will remain flexible. I would be very respectful of your home. I would give your pet much love and attention and I would carefully follow any instructions you give. At home I provide my dog with plenty of toys including chew toys, foraging toys, tug toys, and stuffed animals.
“1000 plus stars! Thank you Jharline for being able to walk my pup during the holidays! She was very responsive and took a lot of pictures. Cashew looked like he had a great time! Jharline is awesome! Will definitely book again! Thank you a thousand times over!”

About: Hey, I’m James! I’ve owned and cared for pets my whole life and I’m usually the one friends and family call when they need someone reliable for their dogs. Even though I work full time and run my own business, pet sitting is something I choose to do because I genuinely enjoy it. My availability on Rover is built around my lifestyle so your pet is able to have my full attention during their stay. I currently have one dog, Chase. He is a medium-sized Australian Eskimo who’s been with me since he was a puppy. Raising him has given me plenty of hands on experience with dog training - from positive reinforcement, crate training, recall, and more. All of it has helped me to understand dog psychology better and speak their language. I know the patience and care it takes to keep them calm, happy and healthy. Boarding & Daycare Policies • For boarding, I'm currently only hosting dogs who are crate-trained or independent enough to sleep in a secured space overnight. This helps ensure safety, structure, and a calm sleep environment for all dogs in my care. Crates are never used as punishment. They are a secure, familiar space for rest and downtime. • For daycare, I can host small and medium-sized dogs. Crate training is not required but they must be potty trained. Someone is always home throughout the day to supervise them closely, so your dog(s) can safely relax, play, and enjoy outdoor breaks. I treat every dog like family and look forward to meeting yours! Someone is always home, so your dog will rarely ever be alone for an extended period of time. Walk schedules will be followed exactly as provided. Feeding times and portions will be matched to your dog’s usual routine. We have a secure, gated backyard, allowing for frequent bathroom breaks and plenty of supervised outdoor time or games of fetch throughout the day. I treat every dog as if they were my own - with patience, structure, and attention to the small details that make them feel safe. My space is quiet, secure, and set up for comfort, whether your pup loves stretching out for naps or playing in the yard. You’ll get regular updates and photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. I follow each dog’s normal routine as closely as possible to keep them happy, balanced, and comfortable from day one. For drop-in visits, I treat your home and your pet’s space with the same care and respect I give my own. I follow all instructions closely from feeding and walks, to specific routines or security details like locking doors and setting alarms. Each visit includes focused attention, playtime, and a check to make sure your dog (or cat) is safe, comfortable, and relaxed before I leave. I always send a detailed update and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands while you’re away.
“I can't express enough how thrilled I am with Santiago! It was my first time entrusting someone with my precious pup, and he completely put my mind at ease. Santiago not only calmed my initial nervousness but also went above and beyond in taking care of Rylee. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine love for dogs truly shine through. I couldn't be happier with his service and will definitely be a repeat customer. Santiago, you're a dog owner's dream come true!”

“If you haven’t booked Irene yet I’d suggest you do so. She’s amazing and it’s clear she absolutely loves animals! She was so awesome with Stoney. Stoney is super energetic and tends to pull on walks. Thanks for your patience! I would absolutely book with her again!!”

“Amazing as always. My dog had a great time with her, and immediately chugged water when he got home from the walk. He hates drinking water! Glad he got some exercise, or at least as much as his little Chihuahua legs will allow him.”

“Jim was very patient and gentle with our 60-lb AmStaff, Nova. He was prompt and communicative, and respectful of her need to avoid other dogs. We would recommend him for sure!”

I’ve booked Jonalynn for a number of walks with my dog Luna and she’s always great! Very communicative and always keeps me updated on how her walk went. She is also very friendly and can tell she loves dogs and will treat any dog like it’s her own. I’m definitely going to be booking future services like boarding etc with her. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend her enough! She has walked Noah many times and is still just as fantastic every single time. She never fails to make sure he is well cared for and safe. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does, and I always feel confident leaving my dog in her care.

Mel has been walking my dog Henry for a while now! She is wonderfully communicative, and so patient with his many anxious moments. I’ve never had to have a dog walker until now, and am very thankful for my first experience being one of care and professionalism. Got lucky finding the best dog walker on Rover on the first try!

Zainab is the first dog walker we’ve had for Luna and so far she’s walked Luna twice and will be one of our regular dog walkers as she’s wonderful! I trust Luna with her and know that she will take care of her. Highly recommend her especially if you’re unsure of whether you should even have a dog walkers. She’s amazing!

Johnny had so much fun on his walk with Anastasiia! He even felt comfortable & safe enough to do all his business without hesitating! Anastasiia had great communication before, during, & after Johnny’s walk. So grateful for the time accommodations as well. I know Johnny can’t wait for his next walk!

Jane was great with my pups! She really has a way with dogs because they are a sometimes difficult pair to work with. One can be very grumpy and the other has incredible puppy energy or is terrified and hiding. Jane got them both out with no problem and took them on a great walk. She was communicative and very calm and kind. She is a great walker.

Nick has been taking care of our dog, Baloo, for a bit now. He is super attentive with our pup and always gives extra care. We get updates from him regularly so it’s nice having someone who will care about your dog like it was his own. Highly recommend Nick and could not appreciate him more!

We users Albina’s service in a pinch and were very pleased with her services. She took the time for a meet and greet, and it was clear she had a passion for caring for animals. She was able to get out somewhat what fussy dog out for a long walk which can be difficult. Look forward to using her service again.
