“Rosandy and Edward are phenomenal people who provide excellent care for Blaze and Starlette. From the very first moment I spoke to the couple, I knew I found the best persons for the job. They are trustworthy and reliable, kind and caring. The communication is outstanding. Above all, Blaze and Starlette are calm and comfortable with them. I am a flight attendant, with Rosandy and Edward, I can certainly relax at work and rest easy fr those nights I am away from home. I am beyond thankful for meeting you both.”

“Great with guinea pigs! I recently had Catalina do some drop-in visits to check on my guinea pig, and she was fantastic. Guinea pigs are very social animals, so usually when I leave mine alone for very long he's quite grouchy and cold afterward. With Catalina, though, he was super friendly and happy when I came home. She definitely took the time to play with him and talk with him, and I really appreciate it! ”

I have wide open availability and am explicitly available to take bookings for the upcoming 4th of July holiday! Safety is my absolute number one priority! About: • I worked at the Howard beach animal clinic as a veterinary assistant where I assisted veterinarians with vaccine administration, blood draws, and wellness checks for both cats and dogs. I also learned how to administer medication to dogs/cats, give cpr to dogs specifically, handle hyperactive, anxious, and/or aggressive dogs/cats, and work with all kinds of breeds ranging from chihuahuas to Great Danes. • Before that, I gained experience working with dogs by volunteering at nyc pet services in Astoria, where I took care of many different kinds of dogs by supervising the area and ensuring all dogs were happy and safe. • My love for animals started with my golden Labrador and poodle at age 5, then at age 12 I got a Maltese whom I’ve grown up with and is now 16 years old. My experience not only includes dogs and cats of different breeds and sizes but also temperament, behavior, and personality. All of this experience has taught me how to read dogs and cats better, know when to approach sensitive dogs, and the best way to interact with said sensitive dogs. I can accept same day request due to my very flexible schedule, because of my flexible schedule I can focus on your pets happiness! I will have plenty of time to take them out on long walks for exercise, play time, and feedings. I love to spend time with dogs and cats, they truly make my day so much better! If it’s too hot out we can have play time indoors with some nice AC and play with some enrichment puzzles! I can assure your best friend will be in good hands and I’ll take care of them as if they were my own. I live in a pet friendly building, I’m on the first floor so your pets can enjoy jumping and running as much as they want! I have a park nearby where we can enjoy long walks and play time. A large living room that they can explore and take comfy naps. I can also make them tasty treats if you’d like! I have a small senior Maltese, she’s 16 years old and enjoys taking many naps but will still love to make new friends. She’s very chill due to her age so you can rest assured that your pups will be safe, but if you’d rather them be separated I have a divider that will ensure that! My priority is that both the owner and pup are comfortable and happy :)

“Great and attentive to my dogs needs Yogi was well exercised and tired when he came back from his walk. Would definitely use Mandel again and again”

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and am an absolute animal person! I’ve been caring for animals for my entire life. I currently have two tabby cats (Seamus and Hazel) and a golden retriever (Saoirse,) but have fostered cats internationally, and was my college’s go-to pet sitter! I’m currently working part-time remotely as I apply to medical school, so I have lots of flexibility to walk and/or care for your animals! I have lots of experience caring for animals in and out of the city! I’m very familiar with the neighborhood dog parks and best walking paths, but am happy to cater to your animal’s favorites!
“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Regina K. as a pet sitter for my cat, Layla, while I was on vacation, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. Regina followed all of the instructions I left for her perfectly and took great care of Layla during each home visit. She was very nice and pleasant to communicate with, which made me feel at ease while I was away. Regina made sure Layla had her treats, wet food, and fresh water, cleaned the litter box thoroughly, and even spent time playing with her—something that meant a lot to me. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Layla’s well-being and comfort. I really appreciate Regina’s help and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and attentive pet sitter. Thank you, Regina!”
About: I am the go to person for my friends when they need someone to take care of their dog, so I thought why not expand my love! I have experience with all kinds of personalities, puppy’s to older dogs. I work from home during the week and my schedule is very flexible so I am willing to work with you and what your pet needs! My apartment has a large private patio with high walls so it is safe for your pup to run around and play but I also live down the block from a park for longer walks
“Christy was amazing with checking in on our cat Boo. My husband and I went on vacation for a week and we couldn’t take Boo with us. Usually when we go away we take him but this trip we couldn’t. Boo has to take a few different meds to take twice a day. Christy stepped up and took such great care of him. She sent us numerous photos and videos. She also checked in everyday, twice a day when she’d go over and take care of him. She spent time with Boo and played with him as well. Christy put us at such ease as far as how Boo is doing with us away. If we go away again and can’t take Boo we will definitely be reaching out to Christy again.”

“Laura is an amazing cat sitter. She had an immediate connection with my cat Carl and was very thorough when taking care of him. I truly appreciated photos and reports from every visit. My place was clean and the cat was happy when I returned home. So important to know that your cat is in good hands. Big “thank you” to Laura!”

“Melanie is an absolute gem! She went above and beyond to accommodate my last minute request and followed my instructions perfectly. Her extra care and gentleness towards my dog Daisy, who was recently sick, was exceptional. Daisy absolutely adored her and she even extended her visit to spend additional quality time with her. I will definitely be booking with Melanie again!”

About: I have experience with taking care of my sister’s two dogs. Taking them on walks, giving them attention, and lots of love. I used to house sit my friend’s dogs when I was in high school I am available during the week and on the weekends, time is very negotiable but my schedule is also flexible, I just need to factor in travel on public transportation. I have a cat tree in my home for my cats, and lots of toys t bat around. The cats usually cuddle with me on the chairs, I feed and water them twice a day and pet and love them frequently

“Leaving another five star review to thank Dayanara for her services. She did an amazing job giving us peace of mind for our two cats while we were away for a couple weeks on vacation. She double checked our automated water and feeder were always topped up, and went out of her way to make sure our automatic vacuum was seated properly in it's dock. I haven't trusted anyone else on any platform to watch my cats for the past few years and we're beyond lucky she was still available this past month. Thanks Dayanara!”

“Cher is punctual, patient, pays attention to detail, and goes above and beyond for your pet. She took care of my special needs guinea pig while I was away. She sent pictures and updates daily. Your pet is in good hands with Cher!”

About: What differentiates me is the love and patience I give to each pet. I have experience with puppies and older dogs that need special care and shy rescue puppies. I treat each pet as if it were mine and always keep the owners informed with photos and messages. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I enjoy spending time with animals in the mornings and evenings, and I always make sure pets receive walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, so I can adjust to the needs of each pet and provide reliable, loving care whenever it’s needed. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, pets always have a clean and cozy space, fresh water, and regular walks or playtime. I make sure the environment is safe, secure, and free of hazards. In a client’s home, I follow their routines carefully, respect their rules, and provide regular updates with photos so owners can feel at ease knowing their pets are happy and cared for
About: I have taken care of pets from friends and family since I was 10 years old. Overtime, I have developed an ability to make dogs and cats feel at home and welcomed through proper time and attention, the key for anyone and any animal to feel loved. Changing wet pads, showering and bathing pets, running and playing with dogs, and cuddling with animals are second nature to me and I have years of experience doing each. Currently, I am working full time 9am-5pm during the weekdays. Outside of those hours, having the pet come with me on outdoor activities when weather allows and staying inside to lounge around are common. I usually see it as an excuse to keep active during my sedentary office lifestyle. Time in = trust out. Building trust and making your pet feel safe and sound is one of my main priorities. In order for that bond to exist, consistent attention and care is needed. From proper feeding, regular walking, and rigorous playing, pets in my care will return back to you in good spirits.
“We loved working with Dorothy! She took great care of our little Mimi, who is usually shy and not comfortable with new people. She sent us everyday updates about Mimi and was very attentive with her needs. Highly recommended!”

I booked Carolina to take care of my two cats while I was away and she was great! My cats were immediately comfortable with her, she takes time with them to play so they don’t get lonely, and followed their feeding schedules. She was responsive and proactive in her communications, which I appreciate as a cat mama. She’s reliable, kind, and warm so I knew my cats were in good hands. Looking forward to booking her again!!

Rosandy and Edward are excellent caretakers of Blaze and Starlette. I exclusively use the couple for my bookings. Being away from home for work a couple of days at a time is no longer stressful as a pet parent. I am truly thankful for Rosandy and Edward, God has blessed me by having them in my life.

Emily is just the best. She knows how to approach cats and wins them over within seconds. She played with our two, which they adored, and kept us completely up to date with her visits and how they were going. I’m really looking forward to hiring her again to look after my dog. Good people you can trust with your pets are hard to find - Emily is most definitely one of them, and I highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
