About: I’ve been a dog mom for more than 15 years of my life. I have a small senior dog who gets along with everyone. We love having other dogs hang out with us. I’m very active and enjoy taking dogs for all kind of fun walks. I currently work from home 3 days a week and spend lots of weekends at home taking care of my senior dog. I am the go to person with all my friends and family when it comes to pet care. My senior dog spends much of his time in a giant play pen sleeping in our apartment. We still make it out for 3 walks a day. My apartment is very pet friendly.
About: I’m from Ukraine, I had dogs and cats since childhood, I walked dogs and taught them commands, I love doing this, now I have two children and so far we can’t get a dog, but I dream about it, but for now I I can look after your pets and I will do it with pleasure I am currently looking after my children so I have a lot of free time, I can look after your pets every afternoon and we can go for a walk together. About: Hi! My name is Neil D. Wallace and I love dogs. Dogs make me happy. My favorite dogs are Blue Staffies and Pugs. I have most experience walking Doodles, Pitbulls, Huskies and Chihuahas. I also communicate everything, and promise an open book attitude with owners. All hours until i book my next show. This is just a side hustle when demand is low in the acting world, which will change, with my contribution. No matter what dog I take care of, there is always one thing in common. The owner is always right. Even if I think something might work better for the pups, the owner knows best; open communication is key.
“Cynthia is fantastic! She's a responsible, trustworthy, and genuinely kind person. Most importantly, all of my pets love her! She loves animals and cares for my dog and cats like they were her own. Highly recommended!”

About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. Although I’ve never owned a dog myself, I have a deep respect and appreciation for them. I understand the dedication, planning, and responsibility that goes into making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As much as we wish we could bring our pets everywhere, sometimes the best choice is leaving them in a place where they feel at home. That’s the experience I aim to provide: reliable and thoughtful care that supports your pet’s comfort without requiring you to sacrifice your plans. I am currently unemployed and I live with my parents (who also love dogs), so there’s almost always someone home. I was working at Central Park for these last few months, but now that the season is over I can dedicate myself to working my dream job… along with finding a career that goes with my degree. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.

I currently work a few days in amazon so i spend most of the time with my pet and would like to spend more time with dogs I have a back yard and my dog is friendly i can easily crate your pet and have a soft small stair case to my bed or sofa and water fountain and clean my home regularly

About: I’ve owned dogs from the age of 4 and have experience with all types of animals through personal ownership and also as a veterinary assistant. I treat all animals with love, care, and attention as if they were my own. I pride myself on my punctuality and patience and prioritizing the safety and comfort of each animal that’s in my care. I am currently working towards completing my veterinary technology degree in hopes that animal care can become my full time profession. I currently work part-time for an airline as a gate agent so I am fortunate enough to have a flexible schedule that I manipulate easily. I am respectful and responsible towards anyone’s property. I am trustworthy and vigilant and will maintain clear communication, keeping you well informed during any drop in visits.
“It’s always such a pleasure to see and read what my little fur baby was up to while I was at work. Tedy is excellent at keeping me informed and keeping my Phoebe happy.”

About: Hi! I’m Gracie, I have been caring for doggos my whole life and never intend on stoping. I grew up in a house with five dogs, and now have my own fur baby. I am very comfortable with all types of dogs and the messes that come with them. I can handle almost any personality and can trick any dog into loving me. I myself have a very anxious pup who is terrified of many noises. Walking and daily activates require more patience and attention than usual. I am happy to adapt and to whatever makes your pets most comfortable. I’m currently working full time. I am free all day on Fridays and anytime on weekends until 8pm to walk your dogs. My days are flexible so if you need another time I will do my best. I am happy to follow your instructions for whatever works best for you and your pets in your home. I will respect your home and preference.
“Hemei has been great with my dog Kiara! She walks her a 3-4 times a week and is very responsive, professional, and communicative. She is very flexible with her schedule which is amazing since my week to week work schedule sometime varies. Hemei made the extra trek for a meet and greet before starting so that I could rest assured that my dog would be comfortable with her. She is reliable and a true dog lover and you know she will look after your fur baby as her own. Highly recommend her!”

“Jessica walked Janie twice a day while we were out of town and Janie was staying with my mother. Jessica took pictures and sent detailed descriptions of how the walk went. My mom tells me Janie was always thrilled to see Jessica, and she always came back tired, happy, and healthy. I couldn’t ask for more.”

About: I have been pet sitting for my friends and family for the last 7 years. They required me to check in on their pets, feed them, play with them, and walk their dogs. I am currently home from college and I work for a towboat company. I have a lot of free time to take care of your pets! I have two cats at home and we just let them roam around. They don’t need a lot of care but I feed them twice a day and clean their litter box and give them treats whenever. When taking care of my clients pets, I make sure I do exactly as they ask.
About: I understand that every pet is unique and deserves personalized care. I take their needs seriously, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or just keeping them company, I’m dedicated to giving them the attention and care they deserve as if they were my own. I have experience and patience with older dogs! I have open availability and flexibility for walks and check in visits. I currently accept same day bookings. Please let me know what you need! I take your needs regarding your pets very seriously and welcome any and all instructions to ensure you and your pet's safety during our visits. My commitment for bookings is a safe and happy pet.

Was a little nervous booking since my dogs can be picky about walkers, but she was amazing with Hoji and Rufus! She took them on nice long walks and they were clearly happy and excited to be with her. Loved getting photo updates after every walk too. really put my mind at ease. Highly recommend!

We are thrilled to be back with Ashley walking our dog Cagney after a two month break this winter. She is so kind and loving, patient and above all professional. She has also done a bit of training with him. Cagney gets so excited when the buzzer rings and runs to greet her. Definitely an asset to Rover!

Ivy has just started walking my dog Gabby.. she’s been outstanding so far… she’s been punctual, followed all my directions and most importantly has been amazing with Gabby. As I see how happy Gabby is when Ivy arrives for her walks. Wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend Ivy to any neighbor or friend with a pup needing walking.

Huixian is excellent..I needed a last-minute and she were absolutely amazing! Super responsive, reliable, and so caring with benji . They made the whole process stress-free and gave me complete peace of mind. Benji was happy and well cared for — I truly appreciate the flexibility and kindness. Highly recommend! 🐾💕”

We had a great experience with Julian watching Hazel, our Shih Tzu mix, and Louis, our Nebelung cat, for 10 days. He provided drop ins and walks and kept us updated throughout the trip with great communication and lots of photos, which we really appreciated. He was reliable and handled situations that came up during our time away, which gave us peace of mind. When we got home, both pets seemed happy, content, and very well cared for… Hazel even wanted to go with him when he returned our keys! Our home was also left pretty much exactly how we left it. We’re very thankful for the care he gave our pets and would absolutely book with him again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
