“I would like to start by saying, in general I am a skeptical person who does not trust people with my dog because like others, my dog is my child. With that being said, I needed a dog sitter short notice while I went on a family vacation to Africa and prior arrangements fell through. Hesitant, I knew that a sitter would be best for me because I didn’t like the idea of boarding him at a facility. My dog weighs 4 lbs and is still a puppy, he seeks love and companionship. While scrolling through Rover I found Diane and I am happy I did. She was amazing in every aspect. She kept me posted about my dog with text, videos, and pictures several times throughout the day. She gave him sooooo much love and affection, responded fast and answered any questions I might have. She was very accommodating to me and Kobe. She treated him like he was her dog. My daycare services are from 9 am - 6 pm daily; the cut-off time for boarding services is by 6 pm daily. My dog-friendly apartment building has a private balcony where your fur baby can enjoy the fresh breeze throughout the day. I also have an amazing, beautiful rooftop that has fake grass where your pet will enjoy running around! I have provided a photo of the gorgeous private rooftop below. About: Most notably, I have worked for Dan's Pet Care as a dog walker in Manhasset for 6 months. I would walk dogs, sometimes feed them, give them water, give them medication, pick up and drop them off to and from the petcare center if asked to. To put it shortly, I have lots of experience with new dogs. I also used to work at The Allypond Environmental Center, along with owning pets throughout my life and still do to this day such as dogs, cats, birds, fish, and guinea pigs. About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. I'll listen to your instructions and preferences and theirs.

I am working from home and I am very flexible on taking your pets on walks throughout the day. I have a private rooftop I can bring them to, a nice quiet neighborhood area to walk around and there is a dog park 25 minutes away. Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with the utmost care to keep your little buddy happy! My daycare services are from 9 am - 6 pm daily; the cut-off time for boarding services is by 6 pm daily. My dog-friendly apartment building has a private balcony where your fur baby can enjoy the fresh breeze throughout the day. I also have an amazing, beautiful rooftop that has fake grass where your pet will enjoy running around! I have provided a photo of the gorgeous private rooftop below. I have a spacious 2 bedroom apartment that is clean, mopped, and vacuumed daily. Your pet will have a private and quiet area to rest and spend their day happily!

My doggy boys stayed with them for a week while we were travelling out of state and they looked like they were having a nice little doggy vacation themselves with their new found friends. Lal really took the time to get to know the boys well specially during their meet and greet. Plus the fact that their LabraDoodle, Hank got along very well with the boys made me really feel at ease.
