About me! Have had my cat Bo for 18 years, and also previously two Maine Coons. Currently have a second cat, Sydney, 3 years old, the second love of my life. Rescued an 11-year-old golden retriever in 2017. Have dog sat / cat sat / dog walked for family and friends for years, most recently a Rhodesian ridgeback and golden/lab mix in the West Village, and a husky/cattle dog and a chihuahua/Jack russell mix - both in Bushwick. I am reliable, friendly and easy going. I go the extra mile - not just in this but all things. I’ll do whatever in my power to care for your baby and make you feel comfortable. I get it - I’ve used this service. You want to know that the person is doing their part when and how they say, and that your dog/cat is in good hands. I’m also ok w messy jobs. I’ve cleaned up after my sisters bulldog/terrier mix Bonnie when she’s pooped all over the house Bc her stomach was upset :/ From Las Vegas/California, college educated (BA in journalism / polysci). I’m an actor, writer & remote worker.

I can do both in terms of pets in my home / clients home. As long as your animal is OK w a cat, they can stay at mine, but happy to dog/cat sit from your place as well.

We’re so happy we found Katherine. Our dog, Jesse, can be a bit challenging with new people and requires patience on his walks, but Katherine handled him with grace and confidence. It was our first time leaving him with a sitter, so I was a little nervous. She kindly agreed to meet us beforehand, which immediately put us at ease. During the stay, she kept us updated with plenty of messages and photos, making it clear that Jesse was in great hands. She also left our home clean and organized. Jesse has a new friend, and I’m a happy dog mama.
katherine is one of the most responsive and communicative sitters i've ever had! the 5 star rating is very understandable. followed instructions to a T and left a very detailed report, which was so helpful. your baby will feel like they are taken care of, guaranteed! would love to work with katherine again.
My 15 year old diabetic cat recently entered DKA and underwent very intense and very costly treatment that required serious recovery and supervision. I took off a few weeks of work but due to the added costs I needed to return back to work in order to continue caring for her and treatments. I was of course naturally worried leaving her after having survived such a serious illness and Katie stepped in a really helped put all that anxiety and worry at ease for me. I truly feel like she made all my worries go away upon returning to works All her visits were well documented (she sent me lots of pictures and videos of play time sessions, medicines given, the food and water put out, and she always stayed for longer than booked for and I never came home to a mess. It was evident to me that she was treating my babies like they were her own. From phone calls to texts to in App updates Katie is truly a delight to work with and I can’t recommend her services enough to anyone looking for their pets to receive the same level of love and care that mine got from Katie. I work long hours in film and my old lady will need continued care so definitely plan to keep booking her as much as possible. For those who view their pets as children; Katie’s the one for you.
