Katie has ample experience taking care of both dogs and cats. She has been a daily dog walker for years and has dog sat mine several times. She is a absolutely wonderful with him and have seen my dog as well as others go absolutely nuts when she shows up to taking them out for a walk. Chase was a dog in particular who she walked daily for years, so much so that I got to meet him more than once and even his owner would say that Katie's walk was the highlight of his day. These were very long walks where they would run and go to the park. Very active and thorough walks. She has has also helped me dogsit in the west village several times. The dogs in question are very big, including a Rhodesian Ridgeback and she can handle them like a champ. She is not someone that's afraid of handling animals, a tough cookie, the honey badger of dog walkers.

Katie is a unique individual because she cares more about animals than she does about people. She can be selfless. loving and giving, but can also be stubborn when it comes to schedules, eating and training. It's always difficult leaving your animal, but at least you know that if Katie is at the helm, those furry creatures are in for a vacation of their own.
