About: I am an animal lover living in Ridgewood. I grew up with cats my entire life. I also raised a basset hound named Sandor. I am kind and compassionate, willing to do overnights, drop-ins, and walks with your pets. Establishing trust with an animal and allowing them to adjust to your presence is one of the most important parts of the process. I have been caring for neighbors pets for years and walked dogs professionally in Manhattan. I’m available for walks and drop-ins during the weekdays also overnights if you’re going out of town for a week or more. I love pets. I will be able to drop in to give your fur baby some love when you’re at work or will stay overnight when you travel.

Not only did Cody ensure that Pablo and Nico were well-fed, hydrated, and given plenty of attention, but he also took extra time to play with them and make them feel loved while we were away. Both cats can be a bit shy with new people, but they quickly warmed up to Cody, which speaks volumes about his kind and patient demeanor. Cody also took excellent care of our home, leaving everything spotless and even organizing our fridge without us needing to ask. Coming back to a clean house and happy cats was such a relief after our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better house and cat sitter. “Brenda was absolutely incredibly and I don’t know what I would have done without her! She is professional, communicative, thoughtful, and takes amazing care of the animals you love. Brenda house sat for me with my very anxious dog who I rarely leave alone for long periods. I was incredibly nervous to leave the dog for a full 4 days but then I found Brenda and she eased so much of my anxiety. She came to the apartment beforehand to meet my dog and get fully versed in the apartment, and she was on time to the minute! Throughout the entire weekend I got so many pictures and updates on the dog, and she was so quick with messages. She’s seriously the most thoughtful and mature house sitter I have ever met and most importantly, she kept my dog safe and happy. I cannot say enough good things about Brenda, she was just so wonderful.”

“Rhea did a wonderful job looking after our boys! She managed to get our little Knightley to eat despite his health issues and also administered his oral medication. Communication was excellent! She sent pictures of our boys and updated us on their progress regularly. The house was clean when we arrived home. It was a great comfort knowing Rhea was looking after our boys while we were away! About: Fun fact: my profile picture is of me and Panda 🐼, the first fur baby I ever took care of for a family friend when I was 12! I am someone who has always grown up around animals including dogs, cats, turtles, and birds. I’ve always had a desire to take care of them, so much that at one point I wanted to go to veterinary school. Although I decided to switch to nursing, being able to take care of the adoring pets of others is something that I’d love to keep as my hobby. I’ll make sure to love your pet the same way I loved the ones I grew up with. All in all, I get to distress from school, and they can get all the cuddles and play in the world. It’s a win win! I’ll also make sure to keep you updated with pictures and videos so you can rest assured that they’ll be in good hands :) I am currently a full-time nursing student, with all of my classes being on Tuesdays. I treat your space with the same care and cleanliness I’d expect in mine, and I make sure your pet stays comfortable in their familiar environment. I will carefully follow your instructions, stick to your pet’s routine, and pay close attention to their behavior and needs. Whether it’s feedings, litter box cleaning, going for a walk, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m reliable, gentle, and always respectful of your home and your pet’s well-being. “After using several sitters on Rover before, Albert has by far been the best. He was clear in his communication and followed up. Albert came for a meet and greet. Albert listened to our instructions on how to approach him. After an initial few minutes, my dog put his paw out to play with him. Albert had a list of questions ready to ask and showed genuine interest and safety in my dogs routine. During our week long stay out of town, Albert set many updates (including videos and pics). I was very assured my dog was well taken care of and loved. I received a pic of them cuddling on the couch. Albert didn’t reach out with a thousand questions while we weee away, instead he constantly assured us to enjoy our vacation. When we returned, the house was immaculate order and I could tell my dog was happy and well taken care of. We’ll definitely be booking Albert again.”
