Hi, I’m Suzy! I recently moved to Bend from NYC and I’d love to continue pet sitting on the West coast! I recently took a sabbatical from work after 10+ years with the same company to do some self-care, spend more time outdoors and pursue a career change. I don’t have a pet, but my most recent roommate for 2+ years had a dog (pictured in my profile) and I have experience pet sitting other dogs as well for 10+ years. My roommate frequently left me with her dog when she traveled, etc. I’m happy to provide her contact information and / or connect for a video chat / meet and greet prior to accepting my application! I also have provided care for a number of other dogs (16+) through Rover and friends over the last 5 years. I love all pups! Please reach out with any questions. Susan was a dream come true. She watched my sensitive and energetic doodle for the weekend and I felt so at ease. Easy communication, reliable and trustworthy. She showed she is dedicated to being responsible and attentive to both my dog and my house. She left everything super clean. My dog was really cared for. It is such a relief to have her look after Scout. Can’t wait to do it again.
Suzy was great with Rascal and easy to accommodate when I was slightly delayed returning to town. Highly recommended!
Susan was absolutely phenomenal. This was such a stressful week/weekend for all of us and I needed to arrange to have the dogs sat last minute because of an upcoming move and wanted to avoid having my boys see any suitcases or boxes to avoid undue stress. Susan couldn’t have been more accommodating or responsive. She asked questions when in doubt, and made me feel my boys would be cared for. Thank you for the peace of mind Susan!
We were so lucky to find Susan fairly last minute and over the Thanksgiving holiday. She did a wonderful job taking care of Hank and we felt relieved knowing he was in responsible hands. She provided regular updates and followed all our instructions.

Schedule
I’m currently at home most of the time and don’t have any upcoming travel! I can also travel to you within Bend / stay at your place if preferred. My schedule is flexible so happy to accept last minute sits.

I usually like to do a meet and greet to get familiar with my client’s home or ensure your pet feels comfortable in my home and to learn about any specific care instructions. I make sure to take notes about any guidelines and am mindful about following the specific rules and routine that someone sets in their home.
A typical day
I love taking the dogs on walks and seeing them interact with other puppies if that’s something that they enjoy / are allowed to do. Same with taking them hiking, out to dinner, etc. I also can take them to the dog park owner permitting! Indoors I keep the dogs entertained with their owner provided toys or playing games such as fetch or snuggles if they enjoy that!
