About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and currently still have 3 cats and a dog! I understand how to care for either animal at a very high level, and absolutely love them. I’m currently self-employed so I can easily make pet care fit into my schedule for both weekends/weekdays. I’m extremely flexible and reliable. My three cats and dogs currently live with us in our apartment. They’re constantly taken care of, loved, well-fed and cleaned up after 24/7.
“Kathryn took great care of our two kitties while we were out of town. She was quick with all communications and made sure to check all of our kitties' hiding places to send a photo!”

About: I’m an experienced pet parent and a proud cat mom of 6 cats. Caring for multiple cats has helped me develop a strong understanding of different personalities, behaviors, and individual needs. Beyond caring for my own cats, I have provided in-home cat care for friends, including caring for two cats while they were away. I have also gained professional pet-sitting experience through another pet care platform, where I regularly care for an 8-year-old cat for a repeat client who has trusted me as her go-to sitter. My experience includes feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, grooming, medication support when needed, and providing companionship for cats with different temperaments. I understand that every cat has their own routine and personality, and I always take the time to make them feel safe and comfortable in their own home. When caring for your pets, I treat them like my own. I will provide thoughtful updates, photos, and attentive care so you can feel confident and relaxed while you’re away. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. As a cat mom of 6, I’m used to maintaining consistent feeding schedules, cleaning litter boxes, monitoring behavior, and providing daily play and companionship. Outside of caring for my own cats, I set aside dedicated time for pet sitting visits, including feeding, refreshing water, cleaning up, playtime, and sending updates to owners. I understand that pets feel most comfortable with consistency and routine, so I always make sure they receive reliable and attentive care. I’m able to plan my schedule around pet care needs and provide dependable visits while treating every pet with the same patience and attention I give my own. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I understand that cats especially feel safest in their own environment, so I follow the owner’s instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, litter box care, playtime, grooming, and any special needs. Before each visit, I take time to learn about the pet’s personality, habits, favorite activities, and any concerns the owner may have. During visits, I provide attentive care, spend quality time with the pet, keep their space clean, and make sure they receive plenty of patience and affection. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while they are away.

About: I’m a responsible babysitter and dog sitter. I’ve taken care of young pups and senior dogs. I understand dog body language well enough to assess situations when needed. I love a challenge and that means multiple dogs, larger dogs, and I could dog sit for hours. I follow instructions and I’m open to extra services before sun down. Although I’m new, you should not underestimate my experience. You can rely on me to be your dog’s new companion, I’m very flexible and adaptable. I love taking photos so you would not regret a photoshoot! I encourage pet owners to ask about any concerns or requests. I work part time helping animals! Feel free to ask me about that, but my scheduling is always changing so don’t be afraid to reach out to see if we can work around it! About: Hi there! My name is Anya and I am a college student in NYC. All my life I have been surrounded by dogs and cats. Feeding and walking animals have been a part of my daily routine since I can remember. In my hometown, I frequently house sat and dealt with old, young and sick pets with care and feel comfortable doing so. Since moving to the city, I miss my dogs terribly, so I know this will be enjoyable work for me! I am an extremely Covid conscious person, triple vaccinated and continue to take precautions.I am available to house sit, do check-in’s and dog walks. My schedule differs each weekday, so I would be happy to discuss and figure out a time that works. Please message me if you have any interest or questions. Take care! I work around my school schedule, which differs every day. I am available weekdays after my classes which end at 3 PM Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 4 PM Mondays and 7PM Thursdays. I am quite flexible so feel free to message me with any questions. I am a very trustworthy and respectful person. I am very attentive to each client's rules within their own home. I know that every animal is unique and will follow care-taking instructions diligently as if they were my own pet.

Xiaoying was amazing at taking care of my two cats! She is very responsive, followed through on my instructions, and asked for clarity whenever there was any confusion. We had a situation where our apartment keys stopped working and Xiaoying was incredibly understanding and flexible and worked with our super to resolve it. Everyday on vacation, I received a lot of photos and a lovely summary of how my cats were doing which put my mind at ease. My cats honestly looked like they were spoiled and had more fun with her than with us 🤣 I will be rebooking and highly recommend her !
Karen did an amazing job taking care of my four cats while I was away. They are mostly senior cats with very different personalities and individual needs, including medications, and she handled everything really well. She made sure each kitty got plenty of attention and care, and I could tell they were comfortable with her. I hadn’t traveled in over a year since one of my cats was diagnosed with a genetic heart condition, so leaving them was especially stressful for me. Karen made the whole trip feel worry-free and gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. When I got home, everyone looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I really appreciated how attentive and loving Karen was with them, and I would absolutely trust her to care for my cats again.

Cailey is very thoughtful and an excellent pet sitter! She gave us regular updates with photos and was affectionate and attentive to our kitties. We came home to a clean house and happy cats. I highly recommend her and have already booked her for our next trip :)

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Corona. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
