I just graduated from Boston University and am now back home in NYC! I would love to be able to look after my neighborly cats and dogs and make sure they are taken care of while their loved ones are away. :) I take the time to learn each pet’s quirks, and comfort spots before day one, and I send regular photo and video updates so you're never left wondering how things are going!

Shanika was an amazing caregiver to my own 2 cats, Simba and Kabab. They were very comfortable around her and I never booked anyone different after her. She's very professional and friendly and is always a pleasure to have her take care of my pets when I'm busy or away.

Schedule
I work remotely from home, so my schedule is genuinely flexible and pet care fits naturally into my day. I’m available anytime during the week, not just evenings or weekends, so I can adjust to your pet’s routine rather than the other way around. Whether it’s a midday walk, a feeding schedule, or checking in between meetings, I have the time and flexibility to cater to what your pet actually needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether I’m caring for pets in your home or mine, safety and consistency come first. In your home, I follow your routines exactly, feeding times, medications, walk schedules, so your pet’s day stays as normal as possible while you’re away. If care happens at my place, I keep a calm, distraction-free space and give your pet my full attention rather than juggling other animals. I don’t have pets of my own, which means no territorial issues, no competing for food or attention, and no risk of picking up something from another animal. I’m comfortable using crates, baby gates, or leashes if that’s part of your pet’s routine, and I always check in with you before making any changes.
