Pet care experience
Species appropriate care!
I'm an animal welfare professional actively building toward a career in animal behavior and training, grounded in real-world shelter experience and a deep commitment to whole-animal care. My shelter background has given me hands-on experience with high-volume intake, humane handling of anxious and behaviorally complex animals, and close collaboration with medical, admissions, and volunteer teams. I work calmly under pressure and communicate clearly across all parts of an organization. Over the past year I've been going deeper into the areas I care most about: balanced training, behavior modification, play-based training, and socialization and neutralization work. I'm also drawn to the less-talked-about foundations of animal health, including nutrition, husbandry, and how they shape behavior. Training a personal service dog has been one of my most formative experiences, giving me an up-close look at how relationship, consistency, and technique intersect. Cats are just as central to my work as dogs, and honestly my own life. My first adopted cat came to me severely behaviorally challenged, and watching our relationship transform through the right nutrition, training, and species-appropriate enrichment has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had with any animal. It deepened my belief that understanding the feline mind is just as important as understanding canine behavior, and I'm passionate about helping people see cats differently. Not as low-maintenance or mysterious, but as complex, communicative animals who thrive when their needs are truly met. Something I feel strongly about is helping the broader community understand what shelter life is really like — how it affects animal behavior, the many reasons dogs and cats end up there and are returned, and what that means for families considering adoption. There's so much misunderstood about shelter animals, and I think better public education leads to better outcomes for everyone.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my #1 priority. I firmly believe that a trained animal is a happy animal! Every animal that comes into my care has clear expectations so everyone can thrive to the best of their ability. If at daycare, I have the ability to crate and separate dogs and I have a clean, fenced in backyard that has a doggy pool for those warm summer days! For check ins and walks, i'm all about what is most comfortable for the pet. If your cat just needs someone to clean their litter box, thats what I'm there for! Wether its a potty break or full adventure, I'm here for it!
Ratings and reviews
I met Rosie while working together at an animal shelter, and I can confidently say she is one of those people who just naturally connects with animals. She is amazing with both dogs and cats and has a great ability to understand what an animal needs in the moment, whether that’s exercise, enrichment, comfort, patience, or simply some space. Rosie is incredibly attentive to both the emotional and physical needs of the animals in her care. Even her own cats are so well trained and engaged that they practically act like dogs! Animals seem to feel comfortable with her almost immediately, and it’s really no surprise why. She is also an amazing communicator and an absolute pleasure to work with. Rosie is positive, dependable, caring, and genuinely lights up every room she walks into. I’ve loved working alongside her and getting to know her, and I would absolutely trust her to care for my own pets. Any pet would be lucky to have Rosie looking after them!
Rosie is an amazing resource for issues with your pets’ behavior! I have two cats, both male, one 4 and one 2 - the younger of the two is a little bully! Rosie gave me recommendations on how to deter his mean behavior and over the last two weeks I have seen significant differences in the aggressiveness and frequency of the bullying. Alone time!! Thank you Rosie!!!
I can't recommend Rosemary highly enough as a pet caregiver. She has over three years of professional experience working with both dogs and cats in city animal shelters and private dog daycare settings, so she brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to every animal she cares for. What truly sets Rosemary apart is her calm, kind, and confident presence. She has a gentle way with animals while also knowing how to establish trust and provide the structure they need to feel safe and secure. Pets seem to instinctively gravitate toward her...they sense her positive energy and respond to it with ease and affection. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or needs a little extra patience, Rosemary has the experience and compassion to meet them where they are. I would trust her completely with my own pets and would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring pet walker, sitter and care giver.
I highly recommend Rosemary as a pet caregiver/trainer. She is responsible, dependable, and genuinely loves animals. Rosemary is patient, attentive, and treats every pet with the same care and affection she would her own. You can feel confident knowing your pets will be safe, well cared for, and given plenty of love and attention while they're with her. Any pet would be lucky to have Rosemary as their caregiver/trainer!
If I had to leave my family dogs or my own cat with anyone it would be Rosie. Not only would I trust her with taking care of my babies exactly how I'd want her to, but I also know for sure she would add much appreciated extra into the care. She's worked with dogs for the past five years, boarding, training, and in a shelter. She has trained her own service dog, has worked with my crazy great dane, and she knows the body language of dogs and cats so unbelievably well that sometimes I'm amazed she predicated the animal's action before the owner (me) did. Just recently I've had to introduce my cats to hers, and when I;m doubtful to let them meet face to face, she says "no, let them," and of course, everything is fine. She knows what she'd doing!!!
