About: My love for animals has been prominent ever since I can remember. I trained and cared for my first dog at the age of 7. Since then, I’ve owned 6 dogs and 4 cats! Neighbours, friends, and family have trusted me to look after their pets for years. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. I have class Monday and Wednesday mornings until about 1 p.m., but I’m available before and after class for walks, feeding, and care. On Tuesdays I have a short morning Zoom class from home, and the rest of my week is generally flexible. I’m able to plan my schedule around a pet’s routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and bathroom breaks they need. I live in a comfortable two-bedroom apartment in Astoria on the second floor of a pet-friendly walk-up, so there is just one flight of stairs. Pets are welcome in my bedroom, living room, and on the furniture, and I can separate animals if needed. I live with one roommate who is very comfortable around pets. Athens Square Park is less than a five-minute walk away, and Astoria Park is about a 15-minute walk for longer walks and exercise.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 16. I had 2 cats and a dog from the age of 4. I had 3 dogs as a child and teenager. I take care of my parents 10 year old Pomeranian dog, Buddy.
