I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a dog, a rabbit, and a hamster taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and attentive care for animals of all kinds. I believe exceptional pet care is about much more than feeding and walks—it's about creating a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets feel truly at home. I provide personalized care for dogs and cats in a clean, quiet, pet-friendly home in Queens. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and sensitive, or simply enjoys a predictable routine, I take the time to understand their individual personality and needs. I live in a quiet, clean two-bedroom apartment in an elevator building. My bedroom is very spacious — almost studio-sized — so pets have plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. For the comfort and safety of every pet, I only board one pet at a time. This allows me to give your pet my full attention, personalized care, and a peaceful environment without the stress of multiple unfamiliar animals around. (There is a small Maltese in my apt but he is my roommate's dog and he stays in her room) For drop-in visits, a typical 30-minute visit includes feeding, fresh water refill, litter box cleaning, playtime, treats (if allowed), and lots of affection and companionship. I understand that many cats and dogs can feel lonely or anxious when their owners are away, so I always spend quality time interacting with them rather than simply completing tasks and leaving. If your pet requires medication, I can administer it according to your instructions and provide photo or video updates for peace of mind.

Yejin took such great care of our cat, Nala, while we were out of town! She shared detailed updates and photos with us every day. She spent lots of time with Nala and gave her lots of attention, playtime and treats. Our cat was mischievous and knocked over the treat container and Yejin went above and beyond to make sure everything was cleaned up and the treats were moved somewhere safer. Will definitely use Yejin’s services again and highly recommend!
Yejin did an amazing job taking care of our pup Richard while we were out of town. She went above and beyond sending us consistent updates and taking him on long walks around the neighborhood. She also spoiled him by getting him some yummy treats! Richard seemed so happy and calm. We will definitely book her again next time we are in need of a sitter.
Yejin came to or rescue last minute and did a thorough job with my cat and house. She graciously cleaned several times after Ponchita who had multiple accidents. She was very communicative and attentive. We will certainly host her again:)

A typical day
A typical peaceful day with the pets I care for depends on their personality and energy level. With an active dog, I would take him to a nearby dog park where he can socialize and play with other dogs, helping him safely release his energy. We would also go on longer walks and enjoy playtime together. For calmer dogs, I focus on relaxed neighborhood walks where they can take their time exploring, sniffing around, and enjoying the outdoors at their own pace. I always try to match each pet’s routine to what makes them feel happiest and most comfortable.
