About: Hello wonderful pet parent, my name is Briana! As a Certified Pet Caregiver living in Bronx, NY, I have been taking care of family dogs (Chatty Huskies, Loving Pitties, and Playful Great Danes) on and off for nearly 8 years, and I personally have raised my now passed on furbaby cat for 17 years. I have basic knowledge of Pet CPR and are undergoing full training so I could also be fully certified in that skill set as well. I’m also going to update my Pet Sitter Course certification before the 2025 year ends. If given the chance to take care of your furry friend, I will provide your pet with upmost care and make sure your pet is safe and comfortable under my care. I am actually a freelancer and own my own business, so pet sitting and dog walking your furbaby is no problem of me to do! It also gives me the opportunity to not be cooped up in the house working and get some exercise haha! Services And Training: Certified Pet Sitter/Dog Walker from online training course: PetSitterCourse. I have experience with maintaining pet health, am comfortable giving oral/ injected/ eye drop medication to pets, facilitating exercise, and cleaning litter boxes. **Please know that while I can administer Insulin and and low volume injected medication to pets, I am not trained in giving high volume subcantuous fluids to pets!** I have professional dog walking experience using a pet service app called Wag!.
About: I've been around dogs since I was a toddler. Growing up with them has given me good experiences. When knowing behavioral signals like if they are uncomfortable. I'm good at keeping dogs well entertained and having fun. I've also had experience with senior dogs and as well as cats. I also have got to witness dog training from puppies to adult dogs because of my mother. I am open everyday Monday- Sunday if you don't have time to walk or feed your pet no problem I'm there! Always glad to help. I live in a building with a dog park close by so they will spend a lot of their time at the park. I have a puppy who loves new friends so they will have a friend to play with. They will have plenty of room to run and play and burn off energy. As for at the clients home, I will find a nearby park if its not raining and before heading home and having many pets and snuggles and playing in the house
“Kristina is so very caring, loving and patient with Freddy! He has trauma from his last home, and she was outstanding with him! She showed lots of love toward him and made him feel so happy and comfortable in my absence. Kristina is amazing! I will be booking with her again!”

About: I am bilingual I speak Spanish and English I commute by train I am able to travel any where as well as a home care taker. I currently work at home and can be available weekdays and weekends I am free both morning or afternoons anytime of the week that is. “My first time booking with a sitter for my two cats while taking a week long vacation. Ambroja went above and beyond to accommodate my girls and kept me updated every step of the way. So very thankful for her. Super professional, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again.”

About: I enjoy leading an active lifestyle, being outdoors and in nature. In fact, that's why dogs have 4 legs-so they can experience more of the benefits of walking! My goal is to care for your dog as if my own child and to provide a SAFE time for play, so you have peace of mind. Also, I'm currently learning a lot about dog care & behavior from YouTube University 😄 It's rewarding to be responsible for taking care of someone's loved one-even for a nice short walk. Being around dogs is therapy and makes me feel like a playful kid all over again 💩 I'm always down to set up a meet & greet so we can chat about hobbies, food and more doggy details. Currently, I have a flexible schedule and always make time for going on walks, preferably afternoon and evenings. 👉🏻Tips for your dog that keeps pulling 🐕🦺 🐾 When the dog is walking in front it's the one in charge, that's no good 🐾 You want a loose leash dog at your side 🐾 Be aware of your BL. Don't tense up, be calm with relaxed shoulders 🐾 Short sideways tug of leash, if you want to change directions and take the lead 🐾 Use a firm 'NO', don't worry it's healthy Remember, practice and patience are 🗝️ I want to advocate for dogs because it's our public doodoo. It's meaningful for me to help protect our pets as this gives me a sense of pride and joy.

“Selina did a fantastic job with taking our girl for a walk! She was able to respond quickly and be flexible to our needs, and was communicative throughout the process. We will definitely use her again!”

About: Started caring for cats at 15 then would board friends dogs while they travel and have even fostered dogs at risk of euthanasia and/or stray dogs traveling from Texas. I work full time m-f however am able to wfh as needed and always have enough time to cuddle and play with furry friends. Weekends are always free for outdoor play time or indoor snuggle sessions. I am in a spacious apartment with a 3 year old cat and 9 year old dog. Both are friendly and love to nap all day. More than enough space to be separated if needed.
About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, including senior dogs with unique needs. I cared for my own dog for 17 years until he passed in 2024, which gave me valuable experience with daily care routines, mobility support, medication awareness, patience, and recognizing changes in behavior or health. Caring for a senior dog taught me the importance of consistency, gentle attention, and creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I understand how important it is to treat every pet with the same care, patience, and attention I would want for my own. In addition, I regularly support a friend by feeding, walking, and caring for his dog when he is working late or out of town. This has given me ongoing experience with leash walking, feeding schedules, and making sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I am reliable, attentive, and committed to following each dog’s specific needs and instructions to provide the best possible care. I work a hybrid schedule, which allows me to consistently build pet care into my week and provide dependable attention. On in-office days, I make sure pets are cared for before and after work with reliable morning and evening walks or drop-ins before and after work. On remote days, I have more flexibility for midday walks, check-ins, and companionship. I prioritize making sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and on a steady routine, and I plan my schedule around their needs so they receive consistent, attentive care without feeling rushed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, litter box care, medication (if needed), and any specific routines or preferences. I aim to keep pets in their normal routine as much as possible so they feel calm, secure, and comfortable in their environment. For dogs, I ensure safe leash handling, stay alert on walks, and choose appropriate routes based on their energy and needs. For cats, I provide gentle care, clean litter boxes, and give them space and attention based on their personality. I treat every home with respect and make sure pets are never left without proper care during their scheduled visits.

“Our young dog has separation anxiety, she screams and jumps at the door the entire time when we leave her alone. I'm so thankful we found Amanda so that we could have an evening out without worrying about what was happening at home. We loved getting updates and photos throughout the evening. The experience exceeded our expectations and we will use her again in the future.”

“Jessica took such good care of my cat and was an excellent communicator! Sent great updates, photos, brushed him, etc! She’s the best! Made me feel so much better about traveling.”

“Masie was extremely helpful for the entire month I was gone. She accepted my booking with 2 days before my month long trip and kept me updated the entire time. In top of that, part way through the month, she accepted a change to the request to add additional days per week due to concerns. She was extremely helpful for peace of mind and the photos she sent every visit helped more than I would’ve thought!”

“Emoni was professional and courteous. As promised, I received photos and videos of my cat daily while I was managing a very busy and hectic symposium in another city. With Emoni, I had one less thing to think about, my pet's care, which is important to me. When my plane was cancelled at the last minute, Emoni was available to feed and take care of my cat, which brought me great relief. I would hire her again. --Steven”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Melrose
Vanessa has cared for my kitty, Boo, many times. This time, she came out to care for him in terrible weather: 100-degree heat and downpours. Always on time, reliable, and communicative, Vanessa takes detailed notes and lots of pictures, which keep me informed of how Boo is doing. I have complete peace of mind that my kitty is well cared for while I am away. I highly recommend Vanessa to care for your prt.

I came back to two perfectly fed, well groomed, happy kitties cats and a very clean apartment. She always sent detailed text, lots of pictures and Videos updates every day. She is punctual, sweet and gentle. She loves animal with all of her heart and beyond. Cant thank her enough

Alice and Ethan were great to work with! They made us feel very at ease while we were away. Our cat Oslo can be a bit of a handful - he is very social and can definitely play a little rough and they had no problems caring for him. They also provided tons of pictures - 30-40 each time! Would def recommend them!

Ariel is incredibly reliable. She loves cats and they clearly love her. I was worried my old lady wouldn't accept medication from a stranger, but Ariel charmed her instantly. We got timely notifications of every drop by, with beautiful writeups that made us confident we left our girl in good hands.
Leta has been a god send for us! She has taken care of our cat for about 6 months now and I don’t know what we would do without her. Incredibly responsive and flexible, always takes great care of our cat, and is communicative throughout her stay. Takes great pics and detailed report cards too! On several occasions I’ve changed plans on a dime and Leta has always been very understanding and accommodative. Thanks Leta!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
