Your cat’s schedule is my schedule!
I’m a lifelong cat lover, experienced foster, and sitter based in NYC. I’ve cared for cats my whole life, and over the years I’ve looked after my roommate’s cat, my neighbors’ cats, and a variety of foster cats with very different personalities. Those experiences taught me how to read feline behavior, build trust slowly, and make every cat feel safe and understood. I have a real soft spot for shy or cautious cats. I give them time, space, and quiet encouragement until they’re ready to open up. For playful cats, I have plenty of interactive toys, but I especially love hands‑on human play that keeps them engaged. Cleanliness and safety are huge priorities for me. My apartment is tidy, cat‑friendly, and free of hazards. Cats are welcome to roam the entire space, explore, nap, and settle wherever they feel comfortable. My routine is simple and structured: morning feeding and litter care, check-ins and enrichment throughout the day, and calm evening time with dinner and whatever level of affection or play your cat prefers. I follow your instructions closely and always respect your cat’s boundaries.

Shanese did a fabulous job for us taking care of our 3 cats with different personalities and different needs. She was very dependable and inventive in responding to any problems along the way. She even brought her own toys to entertain the cats! Shanese is a real cat person. 🐈⬛🐈 She was the perfect choice to care for Karma and Leo and Pancakes. shanese is just perfect! She took care of our cat in her home for three weeks while we were traveling in Europe. We received pictures and updates every day, along with useful information and a great sense of humor. Her apartment has everything a cat could wish for: toys, plenty of space, tunnels, comfy pillows, and so much more. Most importantly, Shanese provides lots of love, patience, and care. Shanese is wonderful! I couldn’t recommend her more. She is incredibly responsive, responsible, reliable, and consistent. She is definitely a professional and cares deeply for cats. She began our interaction with a request to chat and discuss my cats’ needs and preferences. She even brought over toys for them! She kept the space neat and was always kind and thorough. Schedule
I work from home 3 days a week (flexible). I am a homebody, so I’m also usually available on the weekends too. During the work day I still make sure to engage and interact with your cat.

Safety, trust & environment
In my apartment, I keep the environment clean and cat-friendly. I don’t have other pets, and I use cameras in the main area to monitor the cats, so I can to make sure they’re safe at all times. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space, follow house rules, and provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins.
A typical day
Mornings start with feeding, litter box care, followed by gentle play if your cat is interested. Throughout the day, I make sure to check-in. Evenings include dinner, light play or affection (based on your cat’s personality), and settling in for a relaxed night. I always move at your cat’s pace and respect their boundaries.
