Hi there! I have years of experience with pets of all sizes. Am I not available? Ask my twin sister, Rosanna! My first experience with pets was when my sister Rosanna and I were 6 and given our first pet parakeets, then a couple of turtles.. followed by a rabbit, a cat, and a dog! My neighbors have regularly relied on me to pet sit or walk their dogs. I was even a volunteer pet sitter for a local rescue organization when fosters would go on vacation. I have pet sat the past 13 years and have my own four furry friends. I also feed local stray cats in the neighborhood in my own free time and help maintain a colony 🐱 The proceeds from my petsitting work go towards my TNR work (getting rescued and feral friends veterinary care/spay&neuter services) and maintaining local cat colonies 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
For care in your home, I always start out with opening the door and calling out your pet’s name. I observe where things are placed (food, leash, accessories) before heading out the door for a potty break/walk. Upon arrival from their break, I would set up for their meal time and hydration. If there is a routine already set in place by you, I will adhere to that or set for quality time and care with your pet (lots of cuddles and treats, of course)

Johanna was a breath of fresh air when I was feeling nervous to leave my cat for a few days, especially after he wasn’t feeling well a few days prior. She followed all care instructions and left lengthy details and cute pictures from her drop ins. I can tell that Flash enjoyed her visits. Johanna took great care of our old kitty! She clearly has lots of experience with older cats, which was much appreciated since ours needed meds and help cleaning. She sent great updates so we could see our kitty was ok while we were gone.
Smokey is always in good hands with Johanna! It puts me at ease to see she keeps him company and gives him lots of love while I’m away. Johanna is consistent, a good communicator and dedicated. I really appreciate having her around for my fur baby!

Schedule
My routine starts pretty early (5AM) where I drop off the kids before 8AM, and pick them up after 5PM during the week. I now work a hybrid schedule (T, W, Th) and have availability those days in the morning or evening. I have the most availability Friday through Monday.
