I’ve worked with senior dogs and reactive smaller/medium sized dogs. Knowing their triggers and accommodations is the most important thing to me. Getting to know these things prior, helps me adjust to their routine and keep them happy but more importantly safe. I believe transparency is essential is caring for your pet!
A typical day
I take them on nice long walks (weather permitting) and also do playtime to exercise their minds to tire them out. I like to stay engaged with them and understand their cues and space if they’re more independent.
