“Grace and Wu G. have taken care of our dog twice now and they were amazing every time. There is outdoor space for our dog to play and be active, and they are so kind and careful to update us and send us photos so we know how she’s doing, and they were very accommodating when our plans changed.”

“This was our first time using Rover, and Emily made it such a great experience. She took great care of Lolah from April 1–11 and sent photo updates that made me feel at ease while I was away. Lolah was clearly in good hands. I would definitely book with her again—highly recommend!”

“Iliana is very patient and kind to my Dog, this is the first time I went to somebody other than family and she treated my dog like hers. Chacha is very nervous and she is an expert and recommended for us to see a vet for her anxiety , will definitely recommend her to anyone”

“Margarita and Christian took excellent care of Charlie! We had great communication and they kept us updated on his stay. We highly recommend them and would hire them again to take care of Charlie!”

“This was the first time being away from our dog and Nicole did a great job at making him and my family feel at ease! She regularly kept me updated with messages and pictures and took very good care of him. Will definitely use her again!”

“I am so thankful Charlie was available for a last minute booking/ boarding for our dog, Bibi. After communicating our needs, we knew Charlie was a great fit. Our dog felt right at home, and Charlie communicated frequently throughout her time there, including sending picture and video updates unprompted. We would love the opportunity to re-book with Charlie in the future.”

“Qin En took good care of my cat Echo while I was out of town. She sent me multiple pictures/videos a day so I can enjoy my vacation while making sure my cat is doing well. She genuinely loves cats and actually any animals! 😂 highly recommend 😊”

“Sarah gave Dante an outstanding stay caring for him while we were away visiting family do 3 days. She sent plenty of photos and kept us updated several times a day on how he was doing. She took Dante on 2-3 walks a day and gave him plenty of opportunities to make new furry friends at Central Park. Highly recommend Sarah and hope we can work together again!”

“Juliana was absolutely wonderful. She sent updates daily and by the end of his stay, Teddy didn’t want to leave her! Grateful she was able to take care of him for us.”

“This was the second time my Noodles spent time with John. He came home super calm, happy and tired which is so unusual for this energetic puppy. Thank you so much!”

“My pug Charlie had another wonderful time with Abbie and Peachy. Charlie feels really safe with Abbie even though she is a little anxious and Peachy is a great friend that helps Charlie to stay active and socialized especially in this cold weather. Outstanding hosts!”

“It was our first time using Rover and leaving our pup and we’re so glad we choose Bridget! We were just around the corner from her and it’s a plus that she has a pup of her own, Dior, to keep our little guy company. She sent daily updates, including pictures, of our little guy and he came home happy and healthy. We will definitely continue to use Bridget to help care for our little guy Marty!”
“Lal was great! Very communicative and Joey had a great time w Hank and her cat. Sent lots of updates and made us feel very comfortable during Joey's stay.”

“Lio is truly a beloved member of our family and is adored by my three children. I am very selective about where I leave him and rarely trust anyone else to care for him. From the very beginning, both Sayarlin and her husband were incredibly kind, caring, and attentive with our "big boy", who think he is a Chihuahua. Whenever I called or had a question, they were always responsive and thoughtful, which gave me great peace of mind. One thing I especially appreciated is that they have access to an outdoor space in New York, allowing Lio to get fresh air and feel comfortable outside of the apartment setting. Their love for animals is obvious, and they treated Lio as if he were their own. I highly recommend their dog-sitting service to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet care.”

“Angelique was absolutely lovely! She was extremely communicative and her love for dogs is apparent! Charlie was very well take care of during his stay. She made sure to stay in contact and provide updates. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Ryan was a phenomenal sitter! He was quick to accept my last minute request. He was attentive and followed all my instructions while sending video and picture updates at my preferred cadence! Ryan is great with dogs and even offered a few toys and treats of his own while checking with me first to see if ok. Ryan was an amazing sitter and I plan to use him again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - College Point
This was my first time leaving Jesse with anyone other than family and Athena did such an amazing job. Jesse warmed right up to her and she kept me updated. You can tell she’s very good with dogs because my pup usually has separation anxiety. I definitely will book again

Rosie is our 14-year-old dachshund mixed dog with arthritis and separation anxiety, and leaving her for nights at first worried us as we’ve never done boarding before. But Kam gave us total peace of mind. She learned Rosie’s whole feeding and supplement routine thoroughly, and since Rosie eats so little, she even boiled eggs for extra nutrition (she always checks with us first to make sure if Rosie can or can not eat certain things). Worried Rosie would be anxious at night, she slept on the living room floor with her. Every day we got sweet, detailed updates with photos and/or videos. You can tell Kam truly loves animals and cares for every pet like her own. This was the most relaxed we’ve ever felt leaving Rosie. Thank you, Kam.

She’s very sweet and kind. A little bit of a miscommunication between us but was handled extremely professionally. My dog was nervous on the first day and acting out of the normal. She communicated well with me and was super understanding. Nala was in great hands and I’d definitely leave her under her care again ☺️

Dan and her partner were the best sitters we’ve ever had! We have a very sweet but very anxious girl who still gets nervous around new people so we really appreciated how patient and kind they were with Chloe from the very beginning. They let her open up slowly on her own time and by the end of her stay it was so evident how much she had grown to love them. They also kept us constantly updated with lots of photos and videos of Chloe which we loved seeing on our trip as we were missing her so much. Would recommend Dan and her partner to everyone!

I am grateful to Susan C. for taking good care of my puggle Remy. Susan was very responsive to any of my concerns, thus giving me peace of mind! Susan was generous in providing lots of photos for me to enjoy while being separated from Remy. I would definately use her again!
I was away on a 7 days trip and left my Mocha, Coco and Benji in Angelica’s care. I couldn’t be more grateful! She not only looked after them with such love and attention, but also sent me so many wonderful photos—each one looked like it was taken by a professional pet photographer( I wish I can share them here with you)! 📸 The photos were full of life and personality, capturing Coco’s sass and Benji’s sweet, Mocha's curious face perfectly. Most importantly, I could tell they were truly well cared for and happy during their time with her. Thank you so much for everything you did—it meant a lot to me and was such a huge help. I felt at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommended to anyone looking for someone warm, reliable, and genuinely passionate about dogs! 🐾💕

Gustavo and his family are so attentive and took great care of my Maltipoo. He sent routine pics and videos of my pup which was so nice to see when I was traveling. His family members were also very kind and affectionate with my dog and I'm glad that he has another similar sized dog so my dog could play and socialize also. Definitely will book again!!

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
